Nice place to chill and have a coffee

The service is terrible . I placed an order for a coffee and a snack for my daughter . I waited for my coffee and people behind me got coffee ahead of me . I asked if they had a flat white coming as per my order . The man behind the till point rudely tells me I did not order one nor does he try to offer me one after saying I had asked for a flat white . He treated me like I was wrong and not once did he say sorry or offer to place my order . So I left and will not go back again . Simply rude staff who saint care and then blame the client . Cheers to you

Disgusting service. Extremely rude staff. I asked for a cappuccino and got foam. They could do with customer service training. If Google allowed for I would give this Vida zero stars.

Made a pitstop for a takeaway of a lil something savory and sweet: chocolate croissant and my all-time favourite Vida muffin - The Quattro. Very friendly and warm customer service. Clean and well maintained café.

Normally like this Vida, but just turned up 2:02pm and was turned away, staff said it was closed. According to Google, this store is open until 2:30pm, perhaps worth fixing to prevent disappointment? Also would hope that staff in this scenario would let in loyal patrons instead of saying that Google is lying!

It was cool to visit a Vida e caffè for the first time. I know it’s odd that it’s my first time since I live in Cape Town. And there are so many outlets in the city. I recently relocated to CPT, that’s why.I enjoyed chatting to the Vida e Caffè Newlands Baristas, they were funny and interesting. I had a Mocha and I like the complimentary dark chocolate treat (something different). I didn’t enjoy my Mocha though; however, my friend did enjoy his hot chocolate. He even went for seconds, lol.I’m certainly going to visit again.

Cant really fault this branch of Vida. Its just small and gets crowded very quickly and easily.

I love the vibe of the Barristas and service staff. Coffee and Iced Latte excellent with that dark choccie treat. Our meetings were early and it was busy both days I was there this week.

Cozy coffee shop. Good coffee and toasties. Quite pricey but what coffee shops arent ... They are a luxury after all.

Friendly service. The toasted samies are very dry. The dont put any buttor or mayonaise on the bread.

The staff at this branch is really friendly, that’s why I’m giving it a 2 stars.I am a bit disappointed with the inconsistency of the drinks quality. An example, yesterday I bought an iced coffee, mocha freeze. It was delicious! So this morning I decided to get the same one, but sadly the drink did not resemble at all the one I had had the previous day. The drink I had today wasn’t blended properly, there were so many pieces of dark chocolate at the bottom of the cup, that it kept clogging the straw. The drink was also way too watery compared to the day before. And this particular drink is worth almost R50.

Reasonably good food but the place was swarming with flies and boiling hot. Not a fan in sight and no effort by staff or management to do anything about the flies. Floor was also quite dirty. Staff is slow. I would strongly suggest you go elsewhere to avoid disappointed.

Parking is a bit of an issue but if you within walking distance good place to connect with a friend

Three coffees all made in a different way they should be the same. Maybe only today 🤷‍♂️. Mostly good place to have coffee.

Amazing vibe in the morning ... good to see the youth of Westerford High ... so different from way back when we had no coffee shops on the way to school...

New revamped store is very nice and better organised for takeaways than before. Miss the Vida spirit but staff friendly and helpful.

The service could be improved. They have new staff. Their old staff was much more observant and paid attention to hygiene. This new vibe has made it one of the places I try avoid.

Table are dirty and not cleared fast enough, one of the servers looked dodgy. The place is quite small overstepping the intimacy line. Ive been to better.

Whenever Ive been here, the staff have been snippy. Ive also heard some poor rumours about the food, but I dont eat the food so I dont know much about it.

The employees here are always jovial and ready to take and make your coffee as you ordered it. I love to order Latte

The amazing thing about Vida is how the staff interact with the customers and just make them feel important and part of the family. Well, that and the coffee. I got to know these staff well and they are all so amazing.

Absolutely terrible, I am fuming. The service is very slow every time i go here, and it’s almost painful to watch the staff make the smoothies. But today was just the catalyst that made me write this. I ordered a Superfiod Zing today, and I knew that ordering it was a mistake from the very second that the staff looked at me with confused looks on their faces. I said that it’s on the menu and labelled as new, and the man at the cashier begins reading the ingredients to the woman who will make the smoothie! How is this possible? Their job is to know what goes into the smoothies. Thereafter, they get the ingredients wrong. The cashier tells the woman making the smoothie ‘apple juice’ instead of simply ‘apple’, and tells her ‘Chai’ instead of ‘chia seeds’. The lady did not add a banana into the smoothie and all of the ingredients were wrong and not the right amounts either. It was shocking to watch, especially because that smoothie cost me R47. It did not taste right. Very disappointing. Won’t be coming back, and I don’t reconmend this Vida!

Definitely one of the better Vidas around. Service with a smile and a nice range of food.

Always great service. Excellent staff. Outside seating is cramped though. One other small bugbear - Please fix the upholstery on your cushions. Its so long overdue..😀

Although a great place and atmosphere the prices are very steep. Also very popular with the SACS crowd on Tuesdays
