Privilege
What a wonderful array of vegan options! Select your dishes, pay by the weight and prepare to tuck in to a delightful selection of hot and/or cold offerings to titillate the tastebuds. The staff are helpful & polite, the atmosphere is convivial and you certainly won’t be taken back by the price you pay for top central London cuisine. Try the scrambled tofu - it’s a revelation!
MoreFood is weighed. Very expensive for what you get. This is not a buffet where you go back and forth. Your plates get weighed. Wonder how much the plates weigh?. Anyhow my plate picture below for that portion of vegetarian food came to £16.00. There is no going back from there. As no one explained when seated I assumed it to be a buffet loaded my plate and had a bill shock. Recommendations to staff. Greet all customer. Explain the process. Not everyone is aware of the new American style.
MoreNever having tried Vegan food before I was a little apprehensive. However, what I found was a good welcome, a fabulous selection of tasty, non meat, dishes and a unique way of paying by weight.I thought that I would be needing a second trip to the buffet style counter, but no, I was pleasantly full with just enough space for some delicious deserts. This is a great alternative to the usual offerings and one that I would recommend to all meat eaters like me to try. You will not be disappointed.
MoreWe booked the function room for our team Christmas lunch. The room itself is lovely, with a big table and plenty of space. The food is also very very good. But we felt let down by service. I get that usually, this is a self service buffet restaurant and you pay by weight for what you get. But considering we had gone for a specific festive package they didnt seem particularly prepared. It wasnt very clear what we were, and were not allowed to have from the buffet, and we had to ask for both our welcome glass of prosecco and our drinks later on to be brought down to us. No one came to check on us and no one came to clear the plates for the several hours we were there. We had to have a card stamped at the till for every course (which again, would work in a casual lunch setting but is overcomplicated and time consuming for 12 people trying to eat lunch together!). This also wasnt made clear when we booked so confused my guests. In summary, the food is very good and Id go back for lunch by myself but they need to make some significant changes before Id consider booking for a function again.
MoreI had a booking for a group of 8 people and we had an amazing separate room for us all, mind the time wasnt busy. The food was very varied and plenty to choose from, all full of flavour and good texture. Love the way you pay for the weight and can have as much or as little food.Lovely and helpful staff too
MoreNicely designed space, very expensive vegan/veg food, very yum though.. nice as a treat or if visiting. My attached meal was rice, curry, some falafels, dips, pumpkin salad, carrot salad, lettuce, vegetable lasagne, wedges and cost 17 pounds.Everything was nice except my curry had what I thought was potato but some of the cubes were very hard and dry... I don’t know what it was or if it was just very dry and hard potato... you can see them in the closer pic cut in half and all stringy and dry inside. Otherwise the rest was yum but expected the lasagne to have more flavour. If I went back I’d get falafels with the mango chutney — so yum! And some hot sauce. Some pumpkin salad and lettuce, small piece of vege lasagne, wedges & sauce, and maybe a desert.Service when entering was friendly, counter service when paying not as good.. but still nice! I would return... and I’d return more often if the price was 10 pounds instead of 17.Good place for solo diners as well... there is a long row of seats along the window which suit single diners or seats for two which I sat at solo.
MoreBest vegan/ vegetarian place Ive every been to. Great atmosphere and super helpful staff. You go in and put as much food on your plate from the buffet style counter. When you finish you take your plate to the till. They weigh it and you pay. So cool, you can go back as often as you want.
MoreFirst time at the newer Bankside branch if this superb veggie/vegan restaurant. Always great decor and tasty innovative food. My only niggle was that this time the hot food on the buffet boat was distinctly lukewarm at best. If Id wanted a cold meal I would have chosen salad dishes! Shame, but it still tasted good and dessert was yummy.
MoreReally healthy, fresh, tasty, well cooked and nicely presented food! It is a vegetarian/vegan restaurant with a lot of possible choices. You take on your plate as much as you want (mixturingand then your plate go on the scale. You will pay by weight. Beverages are not included (I recommend the Freedom beer). The location is modern, comfortable with a nice young atmosphere. The staff are very helpful and nice also. It is very close to the Tate museum. The price is for me really fair. It is the perfect option to have a healthy food at the lunch time, or have something to eat and then visit the museum.
MoreEverything about it was perfect: personnel was very nice and attentive, atmosphere was welcoming, music was not loud, and the food was extraordinary. Yes you pay by weight, which sounds weird but makes sense when you see the options. Yes everything was vegan but you didnt miss the meat. Yes the toilets were unisex but so what? Its a perfect choice for a casual night out, price is reasonable and well definitely be coming back.
Moreperfect food, so kind to a person. you should visit and take food.
Good selection of food. Nice staff. Self service, wouldnt say cheap but not expensive. Plate was £15.70. Will definitely be returning though.
MoreI just love the self-serve set-up at tidbits, taking just as much as you want of whatever looks tempting. The bill came out 50£ for 3 people including dessert and drinks.
MoreIt’s alright. Is a glass of warm water with three sticks of lemongrass (uncrushedin it worth £3.30, not in my opinion. Is carrot Juice not super fresh worth £3, again not really. That aside the buffet was quite nice but a bit sterile lacking in flavour, if this were at a better price point it would be good! I’m being harsh because I think it’s expensive for what it is. The beans for example were really nice! Defo try it but I’m not sure it will become a regular for me, it’s not quite what it wants to be. Unsurprisingly empty at breakfast.
MoreI love this restaurant. I visited this brand in Zurich and I cannot forget. I discovered it is also in London when I travel here. The weight food idea is very good, you will not see any wasting in this restaurant.Restaurant is located at the business area, clean and comfortable. It is closed to underground station, only few minutes walk, convenient.Food is delicious, staff are nice and helpful.Highly recommended.
MoreA really lovely vegetarian / vegan buffet. The food is great and varied, the decor and vibe very pleasant. A selection of draught and bottled beverages. Will definitely be coming back for more, even with omnivore friends.
MoreNice vegetarian restaurant with lots of dishes and different friendly seating areas. The food is good, it is not a cheap place (you weigh your food).
MoreVery nice, friendly staff, good food, which is surprising for a vegan restaurant. I would recommend going there if you are vegan and have guests that arent (as I wasas there is enough types of food that even the non vegan people (like mecan find something that they like. Very fair price, and wide range of food. Would definitely recommend
MoreInteresting concept where you pay based on the weight of your plate. All the food is vegetarian and service is in the form of a buffet.Found the main/savoury dishes to be really good but the sweet/desserts could have been better. It was rather expensive given it is self service; i got a bit of a shock when my main dish came to over £17 when weighed at the till.Loved the seating in the back where there is a glass roof. It has a calm, peaceful atmosphere even when busy so there is no problem being able to here each other speak.
MoreHealthy and delicious food. Self service with a big variety.
Delicious, seasonal and varied! Tibits has made vegan and vegetarian food appealing to the masses. with high quality food, prices and design, the concept mean that no matter what your diet, you can chose something tasty, and enjoy it in elegant and inviting setting. I am a loyal fan and am always introducing my wary friends to the delights of dining with a conscience - 💯 success rate so far!
MoreLittle GEM! Beautiful space near the Tate Modern. Plenty of cozy seats inside, perfect for couples to work meetings to coffees. The daily selections are DELICIOUS. They do not lower the bar because it is a buffet. Also, you must get the dessert, it is the best part!!
MoreVisited to try this highly rated veggie buffet, food was very well displayed with a good variety of dishes. However its very hard to gauge how much your meals going to cost which is very tricky if you are on a budget:( perhaps if they showed some examples of plate costs it would help. Service is ok you grab a plate, fill up then go to till, wasnt too busy on a Friday when I went. Some of my hot dishes: curry and ratatui were a bit cold too. My dish cost £15 plus a ginger beer brought my bill to £18...way too expensive a deal for the amount on plate really, when I could have had meze or 2 courses somewhere else nearby cheaper. Glad I tried it but doubt I would go again when Ive left still feeling hungry :( plus no ice offered for drink
MoreWow what did I stumble on here? What a fantastic place. Staff are very attentive, quick, friendly and clear a very pleasant atmosphere. The food is something else, its not based on what you eat but rather on the weight of what you put on your plate. What a great concept. You pay for what you eat and can pile up whatever you want from a huge variety of colourful hot or cold dishes bursting with flavours and mouth watering desserts. The restaurant itself is based on the main road just a few minutes walk from blackfriars bridge, easily accessible by public transport, bus and train. There is limited parking available nearby. The venue can be hired out. This is a great place for group get2gethers, parties, meetups or even that solo visit to experience great tasting food, varied music playing overhead and a fantastic place to meet new people. Toilets and wash facilities are combined, clean and very modern. Overall this was a very pleasant visit and yes I will be coming back again very soon.
MoreNot just for vegans. First visit and will for sure not be my last. Salad buffet consists of a massive variety of delicious hot and cold dishes and toppings. Pricing is done by weight and my pretty full large plate came to just over £11 - see pic. A bit pricy, but the quality is superb and the thought that its better and more filling for you than a boring lunchtime baguette is priceless. Ample seating in a super relaxed atmosphere tops off a great experience. Well done on creating something worthwhile and a bit special.
MoreAll was super good! Very tasty British food, good decoration, nice environment, very well located, quality wifi. Ill come back for sure!
MoreA vegetarian restaurant with vegan options. Its buffet, pay by weight. The food was quite nice in my opinion. A large selection of cold dishes and some hot. Would have liked more hot options. The desserts were delicious, especially the chocolate cake with molten middle. Although they had no cream (vegan or otherwiseon the day we came which was disappointing. Its pretty expensive for what it is.
MoreI feel blessed that this restaurant is only a short walk from my office, as a vegetarian my options are always limited when it comes to getting hot food at lunchtime (we dont only eat salads). I cannot really fault this place, the restaurant is spacious and beautifully presented. The food is served buffet style, with the hot food on the top shelf and the cold food on the bottom. There is also a separate soup station and the drinks and cakes/muffins can be purchased at the till. The price of your meal is detemined by weight and when you enter the restaurant there are different sized containers and a sign which gives an indication of the appromixate price.Okay so lets talk about the food, I selected items I was familiar with (mostly Indian cuisineand everything I had tasted good. I also ordered a hibiscus iced tea and that was also very good. The cutlery comes in a biodegradable pack with a napkin which is great because I hate restaurants that leave their cutlery exposed to the elements and within the reach of any and everyone. The only recommendations I have for this restaurant is to offer containers that segregate the food as I have to place dry items (i.e. spring rolls and samosason top of wet items and by the time I return to my desk the meal isnt optimal. My second recommendation is to list the full menu on the website (the menu online only shows a fraction of what is available), I would have definitely come sooner if I knew what was on offer. Finally there should be some information online (on the homepageto explain how the restaurant works as I was a little confused on my first visit.Overall a fantastic concept and very well done.Ps On Tuesdays the restaurant is 100% vegan.
MoreWe’ve just had lunch here two days in a row now, and the food offering is incredibly good. Add the very positive staff and decent prices: A great place for a delicious meal!
MoreVery nice place in London, you can take your own food from the desk and have as much as you want. It has been opened forse ten years and they seem to be really successfull. Vegeterian cooking, very nice people and prices are fine. Highly recommended.
MoreLove this place. Ive been with vegans, vegetarians and omnivores who have all enjoyed eating here. Its a pay by weight buffet so you can view everything and then choose how much of whatever you want. I usually opt for a taste of everything. They also will add ginger or elderflower to draught beer. I highly recommend a pint with ginger. Theres at least one more London location.
MoreA pay by weight restaurant that offers vegetarian and vegan options would have never crossed my mind. It said that medium tray will get me around 7.50 but the good just look so tempting so I ended up at 9 pounds. Its easy and fast, and the staff members are also really friendly. Im not a vegan but my vegan friend loved her food. I love mine too, the desserts are just fabulous.
MoreWhat an awesome place! The food was really good and you could get a decent amount for a good price. A great thing is that if you have a favourite you can load your plate up with that great food.I particularly enjoyed the chili sin carne which was a nice take on a classic. And the onion rings and jalapeno poppers were great as well.
MoreLovely vegetarian Café. Try out the fresh squeezed juices and enjoy some healthy food.
MoreAnother favourite. Perfect vegetarian food. Self serve and pay via weight of plate and add a drink at counter. Good prices. Friendly service.
MoreThis is a really nice restaurant - it’s a buffet style where you weigh your plate and it’s charged per 100g. There’s a great selection of vegetarian and vegan foods, really tasty and flavoursome! It would have been nice is there were clearer labels saying what the food was and it’s ingredients & allergens. The restaurant itself is well decorated, there are three areas which all had a really good atmosphere. The staff were also lovely!
MoreThis is the restaurant I go the most in London. Healthy and delicious food that everyone can enjoy. I really love their buffet. So many great options!
MoreCan be more clearer with the way the restuarant works. The food is rather good and there is a wide option for all people even those with dietary requirements. The place has attempted to make a cosy atmosphere.
MoreSo glad they opened a second tibits in London! And south of the river, just a few minutes from Tate Modern. Great service, great location, not too busy, and amazing food!
MoreGreat veggie place with a self service buffet system. The cost of your food is based on its weight.Grab a box (for takeawayor a plate (to eat in, slightly more expensive). These can be found to the right of the entrance. Plenty of choice available with over twenty dishes to choose from, from starters to desserts. Everything is clearly labeled including dish name and potential allergens.Theres an indoor area visible from the entrance, and a conservatory area towards the back which is also indoors but is bathed in light. Staff process your payment efficiently and keep the place neat and tidy. Recommended.
MoreAmazing & healthy food! I am vegan and I just love Tibits. So many choices and delicious food. Its difficult to find variety as a vegan, so in my lunch break I love treating myself. The atmosphere is lovely too and the people who work there are very friendly. Price is a little bit more expensive than a normal restaurant but it is worth it.
MoreRestaurant and bar extremely suitable to vegans!
Excellent choice of fresh food, vegan Tuesday is fully vegan, but other days they have veg and vegan options. Lots of whole food and raw options too. Pay by weight. Bankside card (takes two mins to apply on line and receive immediatelysaves 10% weekdays and 30% weekends!!
MoreSimple, vegetarian, healthy, easy, good taste. Its easy and healthy good.
Essentially a vegetarian/vegan buffet. Great selection to choose from, most things were delicious. Great concept of pay for your meal by weight - works well for reduction of food waste and those who may eat less/want a small portion, however wouldnt recommend for those who eat alot and it is very easy to pile your plate up when there is so much choice. My bill came to £16.90 and I went at a lunchtime price. Amazing staff, very friendly and beautiful establishment.
MoreGreat selection of veggie food, pay by food weight. Very comfortable atmosphere and decoration. Seats available both inside and outside.
MoreThis is the best vege buffet you can imagine. The price is worth it for the taste and atmosphere.
MoreGood food every time. Rather expensive though
The manager / owner welcomed us in and explained how it worked. Wow, what a lovely spread. Hot, cold, guacamole, such delicious and fresh vegetarian and vegan food. Loved it all.
MoreConsistently amazing. Pay by the weight buffet with a choice from 40 dishes, which are all delicious. The decor is also perfect - vibrant, casual and inviting with lots of small more private dining areas.
