I love the vegan food here and the self serve style, you get to try so many unique flavors and items! Staff is nice, bathrooms with a code, cute kids corner with fun activities for them. Huge space, top floor of train station. They have eco friendly take out dishes.

A nice, warm and healthy option right at the Bahnhof. The kimchi did not disappoint (a different approach but tasty still)

Almost all the things are vegan 🌱The food is delicious, we loved the risotto, the hash brown potatoes, and the cake with vanilla cream.It’s a buffet system but you have to pay per weight of your plate and it could get expensive. One of our plates cost around 16CHF while the other one with same quantity was 21CHF.

Friendly staff, the place is usually not busy despite being located at the Luzern train station. A great place to eat when visiting the city. Food choice could be better though.

Best food Ive had in Switzerland, for a reasonable price. Excellent vegetarian and vegan options, with an unparalleled breakfast buffet-style offering. Staff were friendly and efficient, and the coffee was quite fantastic. My wife asked me if we could live there at the end of our meal. I wish I could have said yes...

Location is good, right above the Luzerne Train Station. Food is only vegetarian and is served as buffet, slightly expensive though.

Tibits has some of the nicest employees Ive met in my 6 months in Europe (this is not a slight on other hospitality workers.. these guys are just that good). The food is delicious but if i lived in Lucerne, Id be going here all the time. Wonderful experience.

Vegetarian restaurant at the main station of Lucerne that serves really good dishes from around the world. It is actually a self-service buffet, but with style.The staff is really friendly and helpful, the prices are fair.From the restaurant you can overview the station and see the trains arriving and leaving. If you have some time left until your train leaves, its worth going here for a coffee or a beer.

Most of the restaurants were closed at 10pm but we were working near the train station and decided to have dinner here because it was the only thing open except for fast food chains. We went without even knowing that it was a vegan place but the food was amazing! Every dish was so good (and I am not veganand even the desserts. The girl who helped us and was lovely to explain everything and event let us know that there was water available (:

Looking for somewhere to eat after a full day in Luzern/Pilatus before catching a train back to Zurich, we decided to eat at Tibits in the Station. We went in as this restaurant really as far as we could tell was the only place you could sit down and eat at Luzern Hautbanhof. Unbeknown to us this is a Vegetarian restaurant!! We are not veggies at all but I must say the food was great!! You pay for a buffet and you pay on the weight of your plate which I have never seen before. Also to use the bathroom, you need a code to enter it. Quirky place but it was nice and people were queuing up to eat when we left....

Perfection! Only in Luzern for a couple of days but visited twice. Absolutely delicious vegan food!

When I travel to Switzerland I must be sure to ALWAYS stop at tibits fresh and tasty perfect for a picky eater like me. Lots of choices I wish we had this restaurant in Canada. For a veggie eater like me its a dream.

So, I discovered Tibits while in a business trip in Basel and thought, oh well it’s a safe option for a very fresh and gluten-free guaranteed meal. I was surprised by the higher quality offering and lovely medley of flavorings added to the different mousses and salads. They were better than the Tibits I have eaten previously. And I loved that they had a baguette I could cut off to accompany my meal. (Much less dry than e typical biscuitsI ended my lunch with a sweet treat - almond cake.

We had a great experience there, my vegan friends found themselves a nice selection to eat and they were very happy with the food quality. Even dedicated meatlovers like myself will be surprised by the great taste of completely vegetarian (or even some vegandishes.

A large variety of vegetarian and vegan dishes, its buffet style, so you pay for the weight, its quite expensive imo, my plate costs 20CHF, and soup is 7.5CHF. But what I dont like is that quite a few dishes were very salty and over seasoned, like the soup, the pak choy..

Great option for Vegetarians. You have a buffet spread and you pay by weight of the food on your plate. Food here seemed fresh and was delicous. I went here with my family of 5 and all of us thoroughly enjoyed our meal including drinks and desserts.Its located in the main terminal of Lucerne train station on the top floor. Service was friendly and ambiance particularly was nice.Highly recommended if youre in the area and are looking to grab a bite.

Really nice healthy selection of salady buffet items plus hot items and deserts.We had the lemongrass and ginger soup and a plate of buffet between us.Be careful because they charge by weight!They lost a few points because we had no idea how the system worked and it was a free for all for finding a table. They could do with welcoming people and explaining.Plus points for having a dedicated children’s area.We didn’t realise it was a vegetarian and vegan place until we’d finished so don’t let put you off!

Amazing options for most of the day at the heart of the town. Like we visited at 10.00 pm and was very happy with the food. Reasonable pricing and great option for veggie folks. Enough healthy mix unlike typical indian restaurants.

What a wonderful place! Food is delicious, and worth travelling to the station to eat. Big variety of vegetarian - mainly vegan - dishes, innovatively prepared.After decades of struggling to find decent food at train stations - anywhere in the world - finally this sumptuous vegetarian buffet.If eating like this was the norm, travel would be a joy and wed be a step closer to a sustainable future.

The best veggie place Ive ever been. There are a lot if different options and everything I tried was amazing from cold to hot plates...100% recommended!; plus the water and the wifi are free 😊

Buffet style vegetarian and vegan food. Not a great variety. Maybe I just missed this before we went in, but definitely enough to sustain us and the line moved very slowly. The bar was the best part, but we wound up getting more food downstairs.

Worth passing by even for a coffee and a dessert.Very tasty, creative and fresh veggies salads. I liked the whole resto concept. Waitress was very friendly and helpful. Prices are more than ok compared to other restaurants.Definitely would return.

Its impossible not to love Tibits. Luzern was the first branch I ever went to, and now I make it my business to seek them out in other places. Perfect for tourists or if youre pressed for time. The variety is incredible and I love the combination of local and traditional foods with some foods from around the world. You pay by weight so you could easily have something light, but every time Ive piled my plate high because theres so many interesting things to try. The rösti is particularly delicious, and theres usually several different types of sausage or schnitzel.Havent had much experience with the desserts because Im usually stuffed by that point.I could happily eat there every day, and recommend it to anyone who thinks a life without eating animals is "restrictive"!

Yes, and again yes.Veggies and vegan, look no further: reasonable prices with no compromise, food is chops-licking. One of my favourite choice whenever I pass by.The place is big enough to accommodate a whole party, but offers good "loner" seats for those travelers such as myself.Drinks are good, and water is free.

Buffet style for the most part. Almost every allergy is labeled. Tons of vegan options. English descriptions on the back of the food cards. Lots of seating, but can take food to go too. Free tap water. They dont take American Express, but do take other types of credit cards. Located on top floor of the train station. Staff were really helpful in answering questions.

Vegetarian cafe centrally located in the train station on the top floor.High quality menus available to take away which lists everything you need to know, most importantly what is vegan! They also had free match boxes to take away.They were playing light music, there was a nice ambience.Food was very well labelled in both Swiss German and English.There was lots of choice.They also sell books, water bottles, bags, as well as supplying free tap water.They mostly sell buffet items by weight however I bought mine from the counter; a seitan kebab sandwich and a lemon cake to take away. 11.60 francs (£8.74). The sandwich was absolutely delicious! The first time I’ve tried seitan, I can see why it’s so popular. Would definitely have it again! The cake was edible, but I wouldn’t recommend it. Perhaps the vegetarian desserts are better there was much more choice compared to the one vegan cake.
