teaSHED - Coffee shop in Sligeach, Ireland
My son and I had the soup it was a delicious vegetable soup and came with huge slabs of home made bread, very filling and very good value. The other menu options looked delicious too, the staff were friendly and it was nice and cosy inside on a cold wet day.
This is probably where I had the best coffee out of the entire country. Im quite picky when it comes to cappuccinos, love oat milk but absolutely hate it when its too sour, they served it absolutely perfectly and now every time we go out for a coffee, we compare it to teaSHED. Foods great as well, wish they had more vegan options. Will definitely be coming back for more β€οΈ
Right at a kids playground, expensive , small and nice
Great, super healthy and tasy food, using their own organic herbs and ingredients for food preparation π₯ππππ₯―π―π₯π§ great for planetπ and sustainability πππ±πΏ
Very good coffee. Quiche and soup very tasty. Choice of healthy crunchy salads. Tea also good. Free parking and 5 mins walk to the waterfall. Stop for a rest and a bite here. You wonβt regret it!
Well done to everyone there This is a great addition to a lovely place .We had a lovely lunch reasonably priced and had place to park our motorhome while we were thereWill definitely be back
Top class food and coffee
Good menu choice and great value for money. Swift friendly service by lovely staff. I will be back.
Best food and service Ive had in a long time....Great spot
Nice cafe just next to Glencar waterfall. It had cakes, tea, coffee, ice cream and snacks. There are tables in front of the cafe with an amazing view. We went there on a sunny day and it was amazing. Cool place to have something after the Glencar waterfall visit. Parking is there just across the road. It also has restrooms for the customers.
I tried Chai Latte and carrot cake, while carrot cake is usual chai latte absolutely different and authentic, staff are friendly and they shared the chai prep and they use a syrup with special technique instead of regular powder based mixes
Great location, really nice food and staff, was a little bit slow for food but was all good
Visited this place recently while on trip to Glencar. Excellent coffee! Well worth a visit when youre in the area!
5 euro for coffee and pastry after a couple of hikes. Service was great and food delicious.
Our local senior group visited the Glencarteashed today for afternoon tea.We were warmly welcomed. The food and table presentation was to a very high standard in terms of variety and taste. The staff were attentive. The management were extremely patient and helpful despite many changing emails. I would very much recommend Glencarteashed for an afternoon tea in what is a beautiful picturesque locality.
Staff were completely disorganised, counted 7 staff at one stage walking around behind the counter, chatting or generally acting confused while there were about 10 people waiting to be served in the shop. Waited around 30 minutes to be served with only 4 people ordering in front of us.When we asked for takeaway drinks as well as sandwiches, they brought them to us in mugs and the sandwiches on plates after waiting another 15 minutes. The waitress also went to the wrong people initially with our sandwiches and we had to call her over to get our food. Food was average, nothing exceptional but at least it was edible.Toilets were in terrible condition. One toilet was filthy with toilet paper all over the floor. The disabled bathroom had no toilet paper. I wonder what all the staff were up to instead of properly running the cafe.Extremely disappointing overall. Would not recommend.
Visited here today.group of 6.lovely fresh,tasty paninis & sandwiches.No delay.staff helpful.tables very well spaced & sanitizer dispensers.Well done.Would recommend & will definitely visit again.Beautiful area.
Great food, service & fabulous views
What a fantastic addition to Glencar the tea SHED is. Very relaxing, helped by the fact the little lady was busy in a safe, clean play area. Fabulous views, lovely, helpful staff and beautiful coffee. If heading to Glencar Waterfall, definitely visit this place, just to extend the trip. Highly recommend it.
Very picturesque and peaceful area where this cafΓ© is located,You get various cakes and good coffee there,And you can sit outside and have a great view.
Busy little restaurant.I had the scones and they were delightful.Take your time hereβ¦What is rushing you.The view is amazing
We visited teaShed on Thursday last week. It was warm dry day and people were enjoying it. In the cafe was busy, but not to the extend to bring cutlery for us wrapped in dirty tissues and not to apologize for it. As well staff forgot to bring soup, which we ordered in the beginning and finally got it at the end after remaining them. The soup was served without bread and butter, which is normal way to serve. On my question, why the soup is served as it is I got the answer, that the wraps, which have been already eaten, should be served with soup. And now soup is served alone. And again, no apologies were brought. The food quality was good and the taste- satisfying.
We had a family event and needed something to celebrate the occasion. We got some lovely cupcakes from here and they were absolutely amazing. The lady was most helpful. Canβt wait to return!
Delicious food, simple menu but everything was fresh and super good, cake, panini. Amazing tomato soup. Great coffee. Nice view and playground next to the cafe.
Really amazing Cafe, a bit expensive, but nice food and good view of Glencar Lake.
Lovely warm setting, food delicious & playground is a great asset too!! Family friendly!
Lovely modern tea shed right at the entrance to Glencar Waterfall. Small menu, but all freshly made & really really tasty. One of the nicest bacon sandwiches Ive had! Hearty soup available too. Arts & crafts available to buy, some lovely things. Would recommend.
Some of the best food we had during our week-long trip!
Fantastic coffee and white chocolate and raspberry scones
Perfect placeto bite something after a long walk around the valley!
The location of this tea house couldnt be more beautiful - nestled at the entrance to the Glencar waterfall and looking out onto the gorgeous Glencar lake, which is part of a glacial valley that opens out onto Sligo, Donegal Bay and the Wild Atlantic Way.There is a family feel about the place and they make all their own baked goods daily (except the gluten-free products, to prevent gluten contamination). It has ample parking and an outdoor play area which helps keep the dining area relatively serene (weather permitting). The location of the gift shop within the dining area reduces this somewhat, but its not a huge issue for me. It would be good if gift purchasers didnt have to share a queue with food, but with the space available it probably cant be helped, and the staff do their best to be flexible. They dont have a huge menu but its all good tasting and good value, made to order, and with the views of the lake and mountains there isnt much wanting.
Brought family for day out today...superb location....service not great...staff seem burnt out..wanted to call since I saw it on RTE s nationwide a little disappointed.
We have been here quite a few times and even drive out of our way to visit. Most times it is just tea or coffee, the few times we have has food we have really enjoyed it.Staff are always friendly and the restaurant and toilets are always clean. The outside seating area is just heaven on a nice day and location is so peaceful. Well worth the drive to get there.
Lovely place, super friendly staff, quality food and coffee. Indoor and outdoor sitting with lake view. Baby changing room, toilets and baby chair available.

Fantastic place to take a break during trip. Nice sandwiches, nice ice-cream, no chips and nuggets (yeah!!!)
Great place! They make all there own cakes and its all dairy free! Very busy even with bad weather. The staff are very friendly! Nice playground for the kids and plenty of place to sit outside.
