Nice Moroccan restaurant , beautiful archetect . Good food highly recommend

Cosa dire, la classica fregatura turistica. Il Riad allinterno è molto bello ma le cose positive finiscono qui: ci hanno fatto sedere in una posizione molto scomoda, con il ventilatore che sparava direttamente su di noi, abbiamo dovuto chiedere di spostarlo più volte. Prezzi fuori di testa, 150 dirham per una bastilla minuscola, stesso prezzo per un piatto di cous cous poco saporito. Insalata marocchina a 75 dirham, un insalata di pomodori con 2 olive in croce e rare tracce di peperoni a 7.50€, atmosfera rovinata da 2 tavoli di turisti che bevevano e giocavano a carte. Di tipico ben poco..

The guy stood outside tried to say that the Palace was closed when it wasnt. Why would anyone trust someone who was prepared to lie to get customers to come inside? Avoid.

Proprio un bel ristoranteTipico marocchino sia negli arredi che nel menù. Atmosfera molto local nonostante sia preso d’assalto dai turisti, visto che si trova a pochi metri dal palazzo el Bahia.Il menù non è infinito, ma la cucina è tipica marocchina. Possibilità di bere birra.

Terrible. Absolutely terrible experience. Ive ended up here with my family as part of a traditional morrocan special night package. For 39 euros each, we got a set of tasteless salads (literally no spices whatsoever, just vegetables cut into piecesa smelly chicken tagine(nobody even asked us if we would prefer sth else or if perhaps we might be vegetariansand as a desert some oranges and strawberries. We had no say in what was served to us. 3 fat old ladies danced about 10 minutes for us. Two of them were definetely not in the mood for any dancing whatsoever. 2 men also sang on two instruments for about 15 to 20 minutes (nothing special). At the end a lady came and made a little dance too. This was our traditioanl morrocan evening. It is a SHAME to offer such service. And while I might understand that someones goal here was to rip us off and get as much money as possible (we were a group of about 20 peopleit really could have been a decent experience with minimal effort and costs. I ate much better food and had a much better morrocan experience on its medina streets in Fes and Tetouan than in this restaurant. It is a pity because the place looks nice and ptlromising but the experience is a complete tasteless overpriced kitch. Please do not judge Morroco based on experiences like this. I certainly will not. But this place brings SHAME to this beautiful country. Ps. Both me and my parents only tasted the starters and some slices of oranges - the rest meaning the tagine was inedible. Unless perhaps you are starving and dont care much about the smell of your food. Also we are very accustomed to morrocan food(it is not our first visit hereand are aware of what a decent (not fancymorrocan meal tastes like. SHAME.

Nice place and nice food. A bit overpriced though. They do not accept credit cards so be aware that you have to pay cash…

If you need Free-WiFi, a Ventilator and a nice surrounding, I can really recommend this place to you.Nevertheless the meal was just standard and the quality wasn’t so high. It’s a place for tourists to take picture, nothing more!

Very unfriendly staff

One dish was amazing (lemon chicken targine), the other (lamb couscousseemed to be missing the lamb.... But the flavour was still good as were the portion sizes. Lots of bread to mop up the tasty sauce and a mountain of couscous! We couldn’t finish it all! Friendly service. Our waitress was lovely. Close to the palace so the prices were a little high. But a good choice if you’re in that area and want a safe option for lunch and dinner.

The inside really is spectacular in this place! We came in for a drink and sat on the huge terrace overlooking the medina. The drinks were reasonably priced and we were very happy to be joined by a friendly little turtle though we were worried hed be stood on! The terrace is huge as is the restaurant downstairs. But the opulence from the restaurant does not continue upstairs. Had we been in Marrakech another night wed have eaten here, in particular as apparently it does dancing shows!

This restaurant has the perfect location for tourists who leave the Palais de la Bahia and start looking for a meal. However, after climbing the stairs, there were very few pleasant surprises. The service was poor, the food toom far longer to arrive than was reasonable (even by Moroccan standardsand the food was ok at best. Without being unpleasant, its the food weve liked the least of all the Moroccan restaurants weve tried. Best to avoid, really. The highlight were the lively tortoises who kept walking around us and kept us entertained.

Overall a bad experience.Expensive, unfriendly and dirty.We went there shortly to wait for a friend while drinking tea on the terrace.When we told them that we would only consume two tees the staff turned very unfriendly and wanted us to go to a worse table.We then decided to cancel the tees and leave since we didnt want to wait in the sun.The staff then screamed at us and said it was impossible to leave now since the water was already boiling...We were forced to pay and drink an decent overpriced tee (25 Dirham for one small glass)The bathroom was also very dirty.I would never return nor recommend it to an to friend

Warning. Full tourist place. We were there and because a larger group left they just shut down Service, lights and entertainment. Food is very Standard/ bad, although we habe left after Starters. Still they wanted the full price for their poor performance.....DO NOT GO THERE!!!

Huge portions of food! Im an American, and I am used to American meals, and the lunch special that I got was more than double what I could handle. It was ridiculous, and I felt terrible about wasting all of that food. The quality of the food was decent, but they dont tell you that the service charge isnt include and they tried to intimidate it out of me (unsuccessfully). Poor service and the view from the "panoramic terrace" isnt all that great, either.

Worst experience in Marrakesh restaurants. We asked for 2 menus (menu 1with brochette and lamb couscous, the couscous was okay but the brochette was really bad, we could not eat the brochette, the chicken was spoiled. Apart from the bad food, they took one and half hour to serve us all the food with the restaurant empty, at the end they asked for a tip and didn’t want to give us the change, we went after the server to give us the change, really bad experience.

Good food a big portions, I recommend to sit on the terrace where you can enjoy the sun and the company of few pet turtles walking around. Very nice service.

Good food, good service. A bit pricey for maroc but not good value for the money, and the marrocan wine is good enough.

Restaurant El Bahia is situated next of entrance of Bahia Palace. It obviously was part of this historical palace. Restaurant El Bahia has one of most beautiful enterior of restaurants I have ever seen.Besides of amazing looking you will find a great and nice staff, and an excellent kitchen. Prices are not low related to other places in Marrakech, however, quality and size of meals and side dishes make Restaurant Bahia a very good choice.

Decoration is great no so much selection of food for lunch. Service good, friendly

Lavish interiors downstairs, plainer on the roof terrace. Mint tea wasnt very strong. Patisseries were delicious, though. We felt a bit sorry for the tortoises wandering about on the roof.

Great spot and amazing food for reasonable prices. Employeees speak good english. 1 km away from the main square.

When we visited this place, weather was very nice so we had lovely time. The food they served was ok. I like their Harrira soup but their mint tea was so strong that it was almost bitter.

Nice terrace and interior. Food was good but not excellent.

Great tajines (we had chicken with lemon and chicken with prunes). The staff: friendly and professional, certainly not dreary/obnoxious. The place is huge: dont be scared if you find the tables empty! We thought it was a bad sign but the calm and the emptiness of the restaurant turned out to be good news, especially after spending hours walking around the extremely crowded and hectic Medina.

Despite the place being empty it turned out to be a surprisingly good experience.The restaurant has a courtyard beautifully decorated in Moroccan style and a roof terrace. The food - two different tajines - was delicious and exquisite. The service was attentive and efficient. The price was a bit above the average, 100 dirhans for each dish, but it was worth it. They have beers what was great since I could put an end to my abstinence in Morocco. :-D

Went on a Friday night... Not a sole to be seen so didnt get to sample the food but looked great...

Lovely restaurant set 10 minutes walk away from the very busy square. The building is beautiful and the seating is intimate. Service is very personal and friendly with waiters speaking both french and english. You are free to take as long as you wish to eat which is good as portions are generous. Although many restaurants offer similar traditional menus, this restaurant serves easily the best in terms of taste and presentation. Highly recommended
