Hidden route to cycling in
Worth a visit if you are into history
Totally peaceful
Realy nice and big archeological park worth a day trip from Bangkok.
Amazing. You can feel the history walking through the streets and ruins. Theres great variety of food available, and you get the sense people have been doing the same thing here for thousands of years. Relaxing with loved ones and enjoying the slow life.
amazing relaxing and historical place to visit.
Love this place so much. Big park so you could play a golf here. Able to compare with the central park in US
Very beautiful place to visit, near lovely temple and grounds and also very good garden centre.
Nice Place for Seeing and Walking
During Covid-19 pandemic, Im going outside to take a walk today. Its good to see people exercise ,the dog running and get some good air. ;)
Nice public park, somewhere to walk and enjoy the ruins and small lakes.Would have been better if the "self-entitled" were prevented from destroying the grass and disturbing pedestrians by using an unofficial entrance and driving minivans around.
Good
This place is good for jocking in the evening.
Ancient Park, in nowadays usually calm and peaceful. Good to walk and have a lunch on a grass.
Bueng pra rama in thai, the historic place which have many wat in this area.
Great place to relax
Wonderful historic site, love to revisit
It was beautiful, with so much details from the past. The entire tour to the Ayutthaya, was very educative and it was such a good time I had, just that it can be very tiring. It is important to go with things you can eat and water too. Although I do not know if it is because I had visited Thailand at a season that was very hot, but it was still a good time. I was there in October, mid October actually, it was so hot, the tour got me so hungry and tasty. ( So, I guess, I could advise that you go with a backpack or whatever you could use to go with your water and some snacks ). And it is important to take clothes if you are wearing something that is not so body covering, whether you are a man or a woman because to go into the temples one has to be properly covered. Like your shoulders should be covered, you clothes should get to your knees at least. Except you dont want to get inside the temples. So, generally, it was a good trip for me and of course I intend to go back there, looks like I want to go back because my four days were so short.
I like the peaceful scenery here and it has something alluring versus temples in Bangkok area. Also love that it is easy to park your car or motorcycle in and around the park and temples.I would recommend coming in early, especially if you are planning on making pictures. The later you go, the bigger the crowd. During a hot and sunny day, queing up to make a picture can be very annoying.Plenty of things to do in the nearby area as well. I would say it can be enjoyable alone, as a couple or with a family, from old to young. One thing what could be improved is to have more trash bins in the surrounding area, combined with a hefty fine for people who litter..
Lovely place to visit. Lots of amazing scenery and areas to walk around and explore.
You can see Elephant feeding at the evening time.
Historical place, mostly Chinese & westerners here, looks like Indians have had enough of history.. hehe
Very nice place to make pictures at sunset.
You can see all kind of animals but they could have treated the garden a little better
Manage to see first hand the head of the Buddha statue enveloped by tree trunks. But sad that the once beautiful and majestic place is in ruins
A historic park that lies the remains of the old Buddist temples... a must go for those who visit Ayutthayya province just before entering the City of Bangkok from the Northern side.
A beautiful glimpse of its former stature. A walk around the historical park in the morning was a great way to start the day. Highly recommend a stay in Ayyuthaya to enjoy cycling around and very nice people.
Nice to explore, but definitely choose a cooler time of the year.
We spent a good couple of hours walking around the park and exploring the various statues and temple ruins. There was a Buddhist festival on nearby which provided more entertainment as well as plenty of awesome Thai, street food. This is; of course, the site of the famous Buddha head stuck in a tree. The group of tourists surround it is just as fascinating
We enjoyed a long evening walk in the park. We saw a huge monitor lizard in a tree near one of the ponds. At dusk we saw a large number of bats fly out of one of the nearby ruins. The park was easy to navigate and a calm place to wind down the day.
Its very good, if you dont have to Michelle time, do only the center ones to spend to much time in all of them, rent a bike in a restaurant in a corner near number 15 in the map of Ayutthaya
Rama Public Park, I was here in 2010, although I did not walk round it I did pass it many times while I was visiting the Temples around this part of Ayuthhaya. This park is Surrounded by water these being the Pa Sak river and the mighty Chao Phraya river. This park looks beautiful from the road. I hope one day to investigate it more.
Good for resting a bit of the multiple temples in the zone. With lakes, grass fields and beautiful views of the temples as it is located between them. Another important points: it is free and has also some pagodas and ruins (little ones).
Great park with plenty of historic temples. Bike isnt really needed as there is so much to see.
Beautiful park, easy to hire a bike and explore.
A beautiful park composed around a wiggly pond providing a great setting for an ancient complex of temples. The best way to explore the entirety of this amazing place is to hire a bike.
Nice walk but so many waste in the water ...Beautiful at sunset
Beautiful place. But that so hot and many people.
recommended to come early in the morning or evening. Nothing much to do but nice spot to capture pictures.
A beautiful and peaceful park at the heart of town. There were barely anyone around with walkable / bikable pathway with mixture of ponds, trees, and grass. A good place to stop by, rest and grab a bite under the shade going between different sites.
amazing place to ride a bike!ruins of ancient temples, nice gardens and small ponds.
You can walk this park. Im sure a bicycle might be nice, but I enjoyed the slower pace of my walk. Still saw most things in under 3 hours.
Do yourself a favour while in Ayutthaya. Grab a bike ( if you can pay extra grab a mountain bike )and tour this park. And for that matter all the temples are easily accessable by bike and make for a great day drip. We even saw a giant lizard at this park!! Swam away from us when we tried to film him lol. All other wat grounds you need to park your bike before entering
A large beautiful park with lots of intricate ponds.
Lovely park!
Nice place for exercise but beware rough brick way.
Very nice! Not turistic. Full of locals doing some exercise. Very beautiful.
Saw a lot of wildlife here. Nice access path across the park. Cooler than walking the street. A fair bit of garbage (but it seems to be a national problem, not just related to this park.)
Very nice and very relaxing park.
