Privilege
Hey are you guys closed? Love this takeaway but seems like you haven’t been open for a while & have disappeared of deliveroo. Was definitely my favourite Chinese in notts
MoreAwful tastles food was so disappointing, I even found a black plastic bit in the rice god knows what from. Anyone thinking of ordering from here DONT BOTHER WASTE OF MONEY.
MoreWe ordered several dishes and most were so sickly sweet they were inedible. This included the prawn chop suey which one wouldnt expect to be sweet at all. It was just bamboo shoots and a few prawns swimming in a sugary sauce, the worse Ive ever had. The special chinese foo yung omelette was a regular old omelette so waste of money, we couldve cooked that ourselves. The rice was okay but that is all. I gave an extra star just because the spring rolls were nice although very small. All in all, I preferred to stay hungry rather than take another bite.
MoreAll in short time they try delivered to you
The ribs for share was good but everything else we ordered was tasteless and soggy. The meat was tough and chewy. Good portions though.
MoreBrilliant. Best Chinese takeaway Ive ever had. Good value for money too
Food was pretty bad. Only the rice was okay, the sauce for prawns was very blend and assorted appetisers were pretty horrible. They were all soaking in oil and were very tasteless. I could eat some of it only because I was very hungry and threw away most of it.Positive things are that the service was very quick as this may be the food that is sitting in their kitchen for days and they heated it up quickly. The portions are big too. Would never buy from this place again, I just hope my stomach will be fine tonight.
MoreIts under new ownership since we last visited some time ago. They dont allow people I side the takeaway/cafe so you have to stand by the small open door to give your order. What was the cafe area is now a place where delivery drivers collect the takeaway for home delivery. So nowhere to wait while food us cooking and been prepared.it was raining luckily we sat in the car.We ordered a variety of food with specialist dishes such as black fungi. None of the dishes was up to our standard.Although we are it all. (We dont like wastage ),it was nothing exciting or special. With our food order they also gave us a medium bottle of soft drink. The one they popped in the bag for us was Fanta. We did not know a drink was provided so that was nice.I think you get whats offered. The shop is located on a main road, parking outside if your luckily.Tgete us plenty of parking around.
MoreNever been so ill in my life. Within hrs I had cold shakes. Never had food poisoning before . Considering the giant rats on this street at night, should have known better. 0 stars would have been given if possible. Vile!!!
MoreVery very delicious food. Thanks so much!
Price about right for Chinese food. Food taste is average. Portion size average. Came on time with deliveroo
MoreBeef with cashew nuts was absolutely foul. No seasoning and the sauce was so think you could stand a chopstick upon it. Shame, previous orders were perfect.
MoreJust ordered from here. Asked for mixed meat rice WITHOUT prawns... it had more prawns in it than anything else. Be careful if you have an allergy!
MoreBest Chinese in Nottingham..fact :)
Terrible food. Brown, dry egg fried rice.Very watery Chicken Chop Suey and Beansprouts floating in what seemed to be garlic gravy!!?? Foul.NEVER AGAIN!.
MoreAmazing customer service and delicious food. Will be my go to takeout from now on.
Morei would never recommend this chinese to anyone i had salt and chilli chips(more like last nights frozen re fried and dripping yes dripping in an orange coloured oil (thought it was a saucethen meal for 2 again poor poor food some uncooked , tasteless chicken sweet n sour green pepper and onion still raw no taste at all, dont even start me on the beef with black beans..no taste at all ...no flavour....rice very oily 2....and i have not even opened the soup.....so dont be like me....i feel like i have been mugged of £20 and am totally upset about it.....i best not have food poisoning tomorrow...unlikely as nearly all has gone in the bin.....buy this food at your own risk
MoreI was violently ill after eating a house special chow mein from this place. Had to stay 2 days in hospital. Led to IBS that I have just managed to resolve. I would give 0 stars if possible.
MoreHorrific, ended up with food poisoning
As always great service..😊
Amazing people and tasty food
From Deliveroo completely tasteless.
absolutely disgusting chicken balls rock solid n salt n pepper chicken is gritty n bean sprouts are vile to mushy
MoreWorst customer service Ive ever had.Forget half the order, I had to phone about 10 times to get through. Finally got through and requested our items be sent out. The man accepted and asked our address, he phoned back a few minutes later and said they couldnt deliver the forgotten items because it wasnt their responsibility. He said it would cost more money to send out the forgotten food and wed have to go without.Appalling.
MoreMy go-to chinese takeaway via Deliveroo. Food always tastes fresh and portion sizes are good. Delivery times are super fast to my city centre location and order amendments are always valued. Large variety of dishes on the menu and although maybe pricier than some takeaways, the quality is there and they have a 5 star Hygiene rating unlike many takeaways.
MoreThe salt and pepper chicken was very gritty and sweet. Salt and pepper isn’t supposed to be sweet it almost has a honey glaze. After one bite we couldn’t eat either dish. The chow Mein had a lot of juice so when we opened the bag all the juice had already spilled and went everywhere.Overall I wouldn’t recommend this Chinese.
MoreMushroom curry was lovely - tasted great, very hot and pretty sure ingredients were fresh enough. The salt and pepper chips were really strange to me though, not like others Id had before. This could just be my personal taste, but they came in a lot of sauce which was unbelievably, overpoweringly sweet and slightly crunchy/gritty, so I couldnt eat them. I would give them 4 stars but I feel like they could warn customers that the salt and pepper chips are immensely sweet and also soggy with sauce...
MoreMy Chinese takeaway of choice, its a tad more expensive but worth it for a more home style meal. The hot dishes are ace!
MoreGreat Chinese cuisine food for dine in and takeaway. The meal deal is pretty good and includes meat dishes. Not much space for a large group but its mainly takeaways. Small board games and card games are available inside for customers.
MoreHad really high hopes for this restaurant because of the amount of reviews it had. Should probably have actually read the reviews rather than going by how many, what is it they say, quality before quantity. The food arrived in good time but the moment I opened the bags could see that the rice and chow mein had been packed into polystyrene burger boxes, then wrapped in chippy paper, a real mess to sort out as the gravy from both dishes had soaked all the paper wrapped items in the bag. The first item I tried was the house special fried rice, this at first glance looked great but it was too salty, the chow mein and the crispy beef were probably the most edible, the chicken balls were crispy but the chicken was quite hard and chewy. my biggest problem was the fact that I had poured curry sauce all over my food only to discover that my entire meal had been ruined because of how salty the curry sauce was, I cannot stress enough how bad it was, it literally made me gag , I couldnt eat any of it after this point and was not prepared tor my family to eat the curry sauce so my food went in the bin. I will not be ordering from here again and would advise that anyone considering buying a meal from here do the same. This is an honest review, my opinion and if I can find a way to get my money back, I will.
MoreQuality of food does not match the high price, also if I ordered salt & pepper wings, why have they put sweet sauce on it 🙄, that would be sweet & sour, not happy at all.
More3 words... BEST TAKEAWAY EVER
Good food and cheap price
Reasonable Chinese food but appalling delivery service. Multiple times weve given them another try but this will be the last. Food arrives ridiculously late or the delivery time just keeps getting later and later, or food arrives 40 minutes early when were not even home yet! Consistently poor.
MoreNice, authentic Chinese food
Fantastic every time, owners so friendly.
Placed order at 8.10pm.. Arrived at 10.27pm after two calls to the takeaway restaurant and arrived cold... Crab meat and sweetcorn soup also wasnt crab meat instead 1 seafood stick thrown in wasted £25 buying from here as thrown most away cant stand cold chips and sauces the soup was horrid.. Mixed appetisers was cold only eaten the very greasy chow mein unfortunately
MoreReally good Chinese takeaway. The food is fantastic and well priced. The owners are really nice too
MoreGreat food with great service
One more Chinese? No thank you, it was truly vile. this has to be up there in the top 3 of my worst ever Chinese takeaways!!!! If I could give zero stars I would!!!
MoreReally lovely. Came quickly and the portion sizes are great
Pale, tasteless and greasy. One of the containers of food hadnt even been warmed up. Felt like it had just come out if the fridge. I wont be ordering from there again. Bill came to £20 and I threw about £17 worth away.
MoreNice small cheap Chinese restaurant, would recommend the 10/10 chicken chow mein or if youre feeling more adventurous the bhings, good value for money, best open till late too
MoreLovely manager :)
Great food with very fast delivery
Lovely special offer meal. However poor customer service and noisy staff bringing stuff in😡.
MoreDude was asking for directions when he has a sat nav? And plus he spilled all the food.
MoreHoly jeeze batman, a Chinese takeaway....Thats actually good?! Impossiblr. Now for some context. This is from a Chinese persons perspective. So, as far as Im concerned most Chinese takeaway places in the UK are utter rubbish. Theyve been anglified and truth be told dont taste great. This place though, my god its brilliant. Baozi is in the name (okay for yall English speaking folks its not, but its written in Chineseand baozi is the main selling point of this place. THEYRE ACTUALLY HOME MADE which is god damn rare. Okay, well I cant verify completely that they are home made, but they look home made and more importantly they look home made. So, thats good enough for me. The way the make the baozi seems traditional and the flavour is excellent, albeit on the ever so slightly greasy side. But the baozi actually has lots of juice in it which is just so god damn good. So yea. Its a rave review, we also had a rice dish with pork belly. Again flavour was good and tasted authentic, but its got nothing on the baozi. So tl;dr. If you havent been here before. Come here for he baozi. Its flipping brilliant. Oh yea. If you dont know what baozi is. Its a form of dumpling sort of, but dont really call it that because thats not what it is.
MoreSo I ordered today from this place using just eat and I only received half of my order, when I tried to call them he couldnt understand English. He then said he had no change so had to over charge me. Worst place ever. Never order from here again!
Morevery nice
