Must visit place you cant control laughing after seeing your funny photos. Staff was really good & helpful.
Interesting place to go. We went on weekdays not many people. Need to pay for entrance fee. Must go if you are around the area.
One of a kind experience! Small place but offers new experience. Assistants are everywhere to help you pose and take pictures. The small cafe is also superb - kecil kecil cili api🥰.
A very interesting place to visit when u at ppng. Worth the Money.
Truly wow! You can’t imagine till you see the photograph you took! That’s how they crafted this!!!Really amazing team, They support us to take photo and guide us very friendly ❤️❤️❤️
Excellent service, they guide you how to post to get maximum effect and help you take the photo at all scenes
Great concept, very friendly staff to assist with great poses, many rooms inside with different scenarios.
There were no crowd control. It was super crowded and the staff keep letting people in. There were almost 20 people pack in a small room without mask while waiting for the next room to be ready. Its a small place and probably can finish in 15mins if there were no crowd. Do not come during weekends and I hope they could improve on their crowd control especially during this covid situation!
I had a blast of a time at this place with my wife! It is a splendid experience with playful staff!
It was raining when we arrived on a Friday morning. We had no other places to hide so we decided to come here and experience the upside down life. The admission fee is different for locals and foreigners, foreigners being more expensive. But if you have toddlers and elderly, I do not recommend this place. The staff were friendly, but not all of them. Some were not so understanding when we asked for less challenging poses. The elderly can’t do certain poses like raising their legs high or bending backwards. And you can’t make kids pose for long as they tend to be more active and unpredictable. There were few video-taking actions, some visitors may not be game for it. What I cannot accept was the floor weren’t exactly clean but we were made to remove our shoes, put our bags on the floor and even crawl and lie down for some videos. We left with black socks and feet.Interesting concept but won’t return.
This is a must and with a group it’s fun. The laughter I heard was infectious. The staff are so helpful and will take pics for you.
Very eye opening, fun n good for those who love photo taking
Sceptical at first but the experience exceed my expectation by day and night. The staff will help you capture the photos and videos. A great place to stop by to enjoy with your family and friends.
price difference between local and foreginer was a major turn off (foreginer pays more). although it was apprecitive and great that staff was able to take photo for us, they reduce the freedom of taking photo at times.
Nice place for a photo with kids however the only 1 star missing is that it’s over crowded, we do not have own time to slowly enjoy and take photo. We were helped to post and take a photo and goes for the next location. Each location has someone there to help you, teach you how to post and they take photo for you. But overall still a good place to consider to go for photo taking.
So much fun here and the staff was very helpful
It was fun for me and my husband. Helpful staff who helped us with the poses and taking pictures. We have fun. I recommend.
Were a group of family with 3 young children below 6. We enjoyed ourselves throughout our visit! The staffs were polite, pleasant and provided excellent service by helping us to capture epic shots for every set in the museum. The sets were creative and original! The staff even helped us to book a cab to return to the cruise centre as we were running late. Thanks for the excellent service! Will definitely come back again!
Neat experience for the first two rooms or so. Not worth the time and price for some pictures. There is a long wait to start your tour. Be ready to be herded like sheep. You get rushed through and it can get crowded. You can spend sometime waiting on others getting to the next stand. The numbering system is a joke. Watch for line cutters.5 Stars for the staff inside. They are incredible and very patient. They help you pose and take the best pictures for you. Listen to them and you will get through much quicker. You can tell they have a hard job, so be nice.Local pricing and washroom available.
Its a fun experience. The best thing is that they take pictures of you and tell you how to pose to take the best pictures. I really recommend getting magnets with your favourite pictures to stick on your fridge!
Summon issued for illegal parking outside.. Should have a place to put shoes if not allowed to wear them inside the museum instead of putting them into the locker, because some use to place bagsAfter payment you need to take queue no and wait for turns to enter.During photo shots, staff will remind to take off bags n leave it aside unattended on the floor.I think this is not safe.Maybe all bags should be in the locker too.Hope management can improve on above issue.Overall a good experience .For foreigners they charge rm31 / ticket .Will ask for ic as proof if u r local and charges are rm21.
a bit pricybut a very good experiencethe staff very friendly and supportivetake as many picture as you want
What a fabulous experience!! The best organised place ever. You enter and get a ticket number. While you’re waiting they playing video with gags. Then you and your family enter the individual rooms and the attendant shows you what to do for the best picture and takes a picture with your phone. So simple, so effective and design med for the best experience for the guest. Zero chaos. Zero waiting for other people who get into the view on your camera. Thank you thank you thank you for creating and running this cool place. We had a lot of fun!
The best upside-dwon house Ive ever been to! You dont know how to take pictures (even if you do? Dont worry they will take the best pictures for you 😉. Also, you can make any of your photos a key Chen or fridge magent!
Very great place, all staff are very friendly and welcoming. They help you to get the best picture at every spot
Wonderful and unique experience whilst you not only have to pay for the entrance ticket But be prepared to "work" hard . The staff were like slaves drivers working your butt off. However, you will ultimately thank them as the finished product is fabulous and creative in its kind.
Upside down museum is all about photo op. You go in set to set, with an assistant helping you take photos. They will assist you with the recommended pose so don worry about not knowing what to do. Photos will look amazing as the assistants know how to take good photos. A recommended visit!
Amazing experience, photographers would love the place
Love the exhibits and the photo opportunities. Felt a bit rushed though as they have staff all over ready to help you take photos but you hardly have time to pause and take it slow.
Good place to exercise. Way too challenging poses for us 🤣🤣🤣Worth my RM20 for the laughs and memories. Thank you!
Very nice place. Super nice service. Loved the experience. Thank you for the memory.
Been to Penang many times but this is my first time trying to explore their tourist non historical museums, enjoyed it, staff are very friendly and helpful. Prepare to take acrobatic style photo as they will guide you how to pose. Very strict with SOP, have to wait for your turn so each station will not be with other people. Great!
Nive place to entertain kids..good staff that teach us how to pose. We go there on weekday so less crowd and more time to take photo n pose
when i got there i thought it was another boring place maybe fun for kids. the entrance was rm 21 for adult and i forgot how much was for kids. but kids 4 years and below are free. when we entered the building everything was upside down even the entrance front of the building (outside)they made the roof upside down. the feeling is amazing because they have a lot of talented staffs that WILL take your photos and tell you how to pose. because you won’t know where to pose for maximum impact. amazing. really recommended for adults and kids.
Don’t know how was it before covid. Slow process while purchasing ticket. Not as many setup as I thought. Not really suitable for one person I guess, unless you can pose as weird as you can and get the staff there to take fun photos for you. I felt the ticket a bit overprice 😅
It was great! We need to pay Rm21/per adult person but I totally love the place. A lot of places are there. Bedrooms, laundry, bathroom, gerai buah, 90° cafe etc. The services were really good as well. They taught us how to pose for the camera and took the picture for us. Overall, a good place for camera lovers.P/s; you can get free admission afterwards if you bring your friend there. Last till end 2022. Have fun!
Amazing place to visit, has a two-storey house for just the upside museum
Guys is so good, if you visited this museum you guys really like itOk please like 😇Can you guys give me a 500 like?If guys give a 500, I share with you againWhere I visited in pinang I share with you if you guys give 500 like 😉
Each group of travelers are assigned with an assistant to snap the photo. The environment is good in a way that crowds are controlled by only allowing a new group when the rooms are cleared.
Very helpful and friendly staff. They gladly take your picture and show how to pose. Not crowded and they take each group of peoples to take a tour to each section.
All the staff at the Upside Down Museum are very friendly and helpful whereby they have assisted us to snap good photos of us. Recomending everyone to visit this place when you are in Penang.
Pretty cool museum. It’s self explanatory, everything is upside down. There’s a number of stations in the museum that you can take photos from. Each station has someone who can take photos of yourself, that’s one less thing to stress about especially the solo traveller’s. Maximum time you can spend here is about 30-45min max.
Very interesting and fun. Recommended to come with family or friends of any number. Has around 10 different scenes to take photos with. Best things is it is guided and there are staff to help you to take the photos. Wear sandals because you will be going barefoot into the place anyway.
We were hesitant to enter the museum at first, due to the rather hefty price imposed. It costed each of us RM21 to gain access to the museum, and much to our amazement, the staff there were extremely friendly and helpful in snapping wonderful photos for us throughout our visitation there. For the invaluable sweet memory the place offers, the entrance fees we paid were definitely worth it. The fantastic establishment is highly recommended for family visitors, as well as those travelling as couples.
I went with my wife last week. We had a blast. It’s really interesting how they have set up each and every room and they know how to take photos. Takes about an hour to finish the complete museum and the staffs are well trained to take photos. Make you have a good camera when you visit. Do not miss it. This is different from regular museums.
Had a really awesome time here at this unorthodox museum! There were staff as every station, teaching us how to pose for pictures with the best effect. Despite the huge crowd, the staff were friendly and professional. We truly appreciate the amount of work being put in to create the exhibits and we were truly blown away at every turn. This is the first time, we were upside down in every picture and what an experience it was!Everyone had great laughs taking all the memorable photos.
It was a very good and different experience, for the first time I have been to these kind of Museum. Staff are really awesome, so polite with visitors. Taking multiple photos and guiding how to give pose for the pictures. Entrance ticket is little expensive for tourists, for local and work permit will get some discounts. Some articles are damage, need to repair. Overall I will say WoW.
This places operates on a get people through the attraction as quickly as possible. We arrived there around 12.30pm and had to wait 20minutes which wasnt so bad. Its 27 RYM per adult. They have various different rooms set up with staff in each one. The idea is that they set you up in a pose and then take a photo on your camera for you and then send you to the next room and do the same thing on and on again. Its a cool idea, however, it would be nice if you werent so rushed through it. For people who are germaphobes, FYI, they make you take your shoes off so maybe bring some spare socks along.
Topsy turvy when you look at the photos again. Their staffs will help you pose to save time and help you get nice photos. This place is crowded at peak time and please take note that you might need to wait. It’s bearable though and worth it for extra fun and experience with family and kids.Memories that is nice to gain.Cleanliness 3/5Crowd control 4/5Friendliness 3/5 (helpful staff)Location 4/5 (smack in the city)Food 3/5 ( end of studio they have small cafe for coffee and waffles)
Gimmicky but a lot of fun. WYSIWYG ... Take fun pics with all props upside down, & flip your camera or the pic for lol upside down , ceiling crawling photos. Staff were good too, they helped us with the fun poses & took many photos for us in case 1 blurred. Every room in an average house is upside down, plus a bar & more. Good for all ages ..
