lila Soße - Restaurant in Haselbachtal, Germany
Really nice main and small antipasti. They serve Bavarian draft beer which makes a nice easy night to start. Highly recommended. Very friendly service. Mmmmwa
Great food, great service..
Excelent food, no wifi
Rude management. Extremely high prices. Dishes were ordinary at best.
Loved the atmosphere in the cozy courtyard, and the tapas were delicious, although they dont come cheap. The waitress was very helpful but not super friendly, maybe she was just having a bad day
Incredible food. Lovely service.
We had wanted to try this restaurant for a while and finally we managed it for a summer dinner. The location is nice inside the Neustadt but not directly in any of the big streets, but in the Kunstpassage. We only tried dishes out of the day menu and they were fine. I particularly had the zucchini-mushrooms tart and it was slightly too salty for my taste. We would be interested to try things out of the regular menu the next time.
Its very friendly welcoming, good and quick service, unforgettable taste of German fusion food. Will be back again and Recommend!!! 👍👍👍
Great mixture of classic and modern german cuisine. The area is very charming and romantic, and the service was really nice throughout my evening. Definitely a place to recommend for other visitors of Dresden!
Excellent food and service. In a colorful neibourghood
Wonderful combination of tastes! Very inventive delicious dishes and nice people!
Excellent food, friendly service, nice atmosphere. I had the beef cheeks special and then came back later in the week and had the steak special and both were wonderful.
Hands down our best meal in Berlin. Each and every dish was awesome as was the wine. Go for the beef cheeks if theyre on the menu; and the swabian noodles and sausage in a jar. The staff speaks English and they really were lovely!!!
Great atmosphere, lovely food and great service (in English), all in a trendy part of town carrying a lot of buzz.
Really nice place!!! The food and the wine are delicious. The concept of German fine cuisine in a glass is super interesting. If you want creativity and curiosity with an authentic taste, this is the place to try. I really wish them to continue exploring their cuisine.
Lovely waiting staff, delicious food. Relaxed atmosphere, great experience.
I’m a little confused as to how this is one if the best restaurants in Dresden. Hospitality and service were great but the food is far from expertly prepared. Each dish was either too spicy, too fishy, over-salted or overpriced; we had 5 “jars”. Hipster concept, would not recommend.
Absolutely not five-star quality and not a good value. While the setting in the Kunsthof Passage is charming, entrees are smallish for a 12-16 euro price, and the two we had were nothing special. The bread in a “bread basket” was tiny pieces totaling maybe 2 slices total. The spatzle was good and a reasonable size. Our mango parfait dessert was in a jar and almost frozen solid. Not sure if that was intentional or it was in the freezer too long.
Highly recommended. Vegetarian friendly place with good secection of vine. Surrounded with creative atmosphere.
Best service I’ve ever had in Germany - our waiter was friendly, considerate and really went the extra mile to take care of us. Food was delicious! Dog-friendly. Will definitely return!!
Restaurant with pleasant atmosphere. Concept of serving the food in jars is interesting but not so convenient to eat. In a menu German cuisine which I would not call modern as they do. Prices are correct. During the weekend quite busy so you need to sometimes wait for service and do not try to book a table by their website as even with confirmation it is not guaranteed that your place is secured (it is better to call them).
Grobe Bratwurst vom Duroc 👍Good price quality ratio. More like a starterThings can be so easy an tasty at the same time. This dish is a super combination. The sausage is very well seasoned and the saltiness fusions perfectly with the sweetness of the mango sauce. Conclusion:For me the best dish I had in Dresden.Thank you!
Very delicious german food. Regular german food is mostly quite heavy, but here at Lila Sosse they are able to make it delicate. Very good! Would definitely recommend it!
We visited the restaurant a long time ago for a recommendation of a friend. We dont have a reservation, it was pretty full but they found a table for us in less than 10 minutes. The service was quite good and the food... OMG, amazing, delicious an explosion of taste in your mouth. They have a very cool and modern concept of food. I really love this place and its food. I highly recommend it.
Very cosy, very friendly service, and I enjoyed the food very much. I cant say the food blew me away, but it was fresh, prepared well, and tasty. Traditional ingredients and tastes served in a more updated, modern style. On the pricey side (though you can buy smaller portions similar to tapas), but decent value for money.
Outstanding experience. Service was suburb and the menu innovative, exciting and very tasty. The unique variety, presentation and delightfully creative seasoning (subtle and not in any way over donelead to to a satisfying evening
Fun and delicious jars that feature a modern twist on German food! We thoroughly enjoyed both the hot and cold jars and would definitely recommend the sausages with mango chutney. The prices were also reasonable for the quality and quantity of food that you get. Would definitely recommend checking Lila Sosse out if you visit Dresden!
Super friendly staff and location is beautiful and quaint. Had the fish special which was cooked perfectly. Prices are a little high in my opinion.
Incredibly cute courtyard ambience, nice and quiet with lovely vibe. The drinks menu is extensive and they have a good range of beer and wines. The food is incredibly fresh and flavorful; the quality and freshness of the herbs is obvious in the taste depth of all that we ordered. Would highly recommend.
Unfriendly service. We waited for half an hour and had to go and actually tell the waitress to please take our orders ... and that was just for drinks. After reading all the great reviews, it was quite a surprise for me to see the bad service.
If you set your expectations on good, comforting homemade “mom-style” food, this place will not disappoint. Food was satisfying and filling. Dessert (not in picPanna cotta was excellent. Not the most refined taste (in fact a bit salty for non-German tastebut still quite rich in flavours.IG: @acello
Food and atmosphere was good but they need to make their food game strong a little coz too much of raw vegetables wd fish dont conpliment each other at all... apart from that good place to grab a drink.
Oh how we enjoyed this dinner with friends here. Weve had Duroc pork, beef cheeks, risotto and herring. Each and every dish was executed perfectly, delicious and good portions. Husband enjoyed their own created bock beer with dark chocolate. They have a special beer menu, which they brewed themselves. We really really loved the meals, the lovely ladies who served us, being really accommodating with our 6 month year old baby. A must visit in Dresden.
The right place if youre looking for a bit more fancy and special place for eating out in Dresden Neustadt. Lovely handmade food and a nice wine selection. Vise versa the price level is slightly higher than the surrounding area..
Great place with a youthful vibe in Dresdens alternative quarter. They also have a nice outside seating area that is quite busy during summer. Their special is small dishes served in Weck glasses. Apart from those they regularly change the menu and have a good wine selection.
Very tasty food, and wine
Friendly and timely service! Intimate and cozy, great music. The Zanderfilet was delicious - especially its bed of Meerrittichrahmkraut. Maissels Weisse on tap. The Apple Tiramisu was sweeter than I prefer, but I was satisfied with the apple interpretation of my favorite dessert.
A charming little cafe with excellent food. Its in a fun neighborhood where there are lots of cafes, shops and restaurants. They have vegetarian options on their menu.
Very nice restaurant in an upcoming part of Dresden, far away from the tourist region. It offers delicious healthy food delivered in jars by a friendly staff. Homemade lemon juice is actually home made and as such it tastes great.
It is different from the usual German kitchen. The service is very good as well as the food. The menu is changing on regular basis and the stuff can explain it in german and english very well. Also the wine suggestions are fitting very well to the dishes.
Hidden gem in the heart of the new town. What a surprise to try this place out. Firstly its down one of the connecting passages and then also quite tricky to find.I strongly recommend making a reservation as the place gets very full, very quickly. Also be mindful of the closing time as you want to have enough time to enjoy your experience here. The salad (not sure if it changeswas just divine, with a mix of cheese, bacon and a tasty dressing.Try a selection of the little glass pots to share with one main meal and we were delightfully satisfied.I can highly recommend this place for a treat and a nice night out.
Simply outstanding. Brilliant staff, lovely atmosphere and imaginative food that you will not want to stop eating. One million stars :-)
Worth to have a good food experience. However, on the day I was there, restaurant fully booked, service struggling a bit.... however, really nice!
A true gem of a restaurant hidden away in an artsy alleyway in Dresden Neustadt. Unique whole foods served in jars in more of a tapas style. Great selection of wine and beer The outdoor seating is beautiful and the wait staff is extremely friendly and attentive (by German standards). Accepts credit cards which is a big bonus for travelers from outside Germany.
Food Is well though and executed, nice wine selection. It lacks a bit of focus and identity . One note: the tables outsider are really a challenge for glasses as the pavimento Is truly uneven and tables wobbly. Can t Say its a base Place, its not absolutely but i already don t Remember anything passionate about food here.
Wonderful food, nice atmosphere and great service!
Great option if youre having family or friends over. Really cosy place for dinner. Waiters are great, menu as Ive never seen before. One of my favourites!
Good service and location. Main dishes are totally better than what I expected. Can feel they put their love in all the foods. We were coming 30 minutes to 20:00, and it was almost empty inside. Later on, bunch of people came in 30 min. Their main dishes will be changed everyday and you can find them to be hang on the wall, but the desserts and jar foods will be always the same.
Lila Soß serves fresh takes on German flavors and preparations that are unique and delicious. Chicken with white beans was light and moist, and often-heavy beef sausage was enlivened with mango and chili. Every menu item is a little jar of wonder, and its location is a pleasant and funky place to spend an evening.
+ Delicious modern German fare, + cozy atmosphere, + off the beaten pathWhen walking through Dresden’s nightlife hub Neustadt I found the Lila Sosse hidden in the Kunsthofpassage. Neustadt and the passage are located far off the touristy old town area.Lila Sosse is located in the first floor of an old building and its interior reminds of an old fashioned living room with a beautiful tiled fireplace and a cozy wooden interior. If the weather permits pastel colored tables and chairs are set up in the narrow lane of the Kunsthofpassage that connects the different backyards with each other.Having a closer look at the menu you will realize that all dishes are served in preserving jars. This is a complete uncommon way to eat food in a German restaurant and the reason why Lila Sosse’s concept is quite unique. The menu is focused on hot and cold German specialties with the size of Spanish Tapas dishes.I really encourage everyone to visit this place because of its relaxing and warm atmosphere. Moreover the neighborhood differs so much from the classy historic old town, showing you more of the real Dresden. And finally the food is incredible delicious. If available try the Currywurst, the Rabbit, and the Cheese Spaetzle.Mastercard and Visa cards accepted! Average entrée: EUR 10.
