Dedicated to Lord Papahareshwar Swami, one of the forms of Lord Shiva, Kadile Papahareshwar Temple is a very famous temple in the area.The legend behind this temple says that Lord Parashurama, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu performed penance here. He surrendered to Lord Papahareshwar after beheading his mother to get rid of his sins. The temple is also known for its Shiva lingam that is installed within its premises.

Visited this Temple twice... Temple looks very normal but its ancient ... you will admire to the nature as the nature is very beautiful here... must visit place

God will move always. We can observe when more and more concentrate. God is West facing. As I know it is one and only temple in INDIA. I thought it is 1500 years old. Temple is very small like our street temple not much bigger as we expert. We have to book auto for up and down. There is no transport fecility.
