Nett, aber außer der LinzerTorte eher Durchschnitt. Ich finde die Historie könnte auf mehreren Ebenen besser gewürdigt werden.

Sarebbe da 4 o anche 5 stelle se non fosse per la svogliatezza e poca cortesia che dimostra la ragazza che ci lavora e che serve. Siamo andati di pomeriggio, ci siamo seduti all esterno e abbiamo atteso 5 minuti. Ho letto allora che bisogna fare l ordine dentro e sono entrato anche per vedere cosa c era. Essendo anche panificio c erano diversi tipi di pane e 2-3 tipi di dolce che non essendo del luogo non conoscevo pur immaginando che uno fosse la linzer torte. La ragazza mi dice un "bitte" (pregocon fare talmente svogliato che sembrava proprio gli facessimo un dispetto a essere lì. Ho visto che aveva lo stesso atteggiamento un po con tutti quindi non era dovuto al fatto che fossimo i soliti turisti fastidiosi. Comunque gli ordino 2 caffè e gli chiedo che cosa sono quei 3 tipi di dolce che vedo: mi risponde "linzer torte"... Gli chiedo che differenza c è e mi risponde ancora "linzer torte"... Al che gli faccio notare che erano palesemente diversi l uno dall altro e allora mi spiega che sono linzer torte di versione differenti... Una volta ordinate due fette di torta differenti attendiamo fuori con la tavola ancora da sparecchiare dei clienti seduti prima di noi. Riceviamo la nostra ordinazione e solo allora la ragazza porta via tazze e posate sporche. Mangiamo le due torte, che alla fine erano due fette della stessa versione e non due differenti come avevo richiesto, e vado a pagare. Con fare svogliato un nuovo "bitte" da parte della ragazza. Pago e andiamo via. In conclusione sarebbe un ottima pasticceria o locale dove assaggiare la linzertorte o bere un caffè, ma l atteggiamento della persona che ci ha serviti non mi fa venire la voglia di tornarci in quanto non mi sento il benvenuto ad andare e per mia esperienza personale consiglio di provare altri locali se siete di passaggio a Linz.

Ambiente sowieso einzigartig in Linz. Frühstück sehr gut. Bedienung sehr freundlich.

Wohl auch ein bisschen selbstverschuldet, aber das Brunch Erlebnis war eher moderat.1. Wenn man im Innenhof oder draußen auf den Stühlen sitzt, muss man trotzdem selbst am Tresen bestellen. (Wenn wenig los ist und man da nicht selbst drauf kommt,...wartet man ewig umsonst)2. Die Karte ist ewig lange, und man(nließt Sie meist falsch. Denn bei einem großen Frühstück bin ich nicht auf die Idee gekommen, dass es sich jeweils um Optionen und nicht um das Menü umfassende Produkte handelt.3. Die Wartezeit auf Rührei und Ham&Eggs war über 20 Minuten. Ein Teil des Frühstücks wurde vergessen.Warum gibt es trotzdem 3 Sterne?Geschmacklich war der Bruch absolut am oberen Ende, und das Personal in Ihrem möglichen Umfang überaus bemüht.Es wurde alles nachgebraucht und war eine wundervolle Zeit im Innengarten.

Sehr uriges Cafe mit hervorragender Linzer Torte.Für Liebhaber von Kuchen sehr zu empfehlen.

Ambiente außergewöhnlich. Service nett und bemüht. Frühstück war auch ganz ok. Mohnweckerl leider etwas trocken. Marmelade sehr gut. Kaffee auch 🙂 Eierspeise mit 2 Eiern dürfte jedoch mit Wachteleiern gemacht worden sein.

Schönes Café mit tollem Ambiente. Gute Auswahl an Gebäck etc.Leider war bei unserem Besuch, die junge Bedienung so schlecht gelaunt, dass sie uns beim Erstkontakt nicht grüßte und das Geschirr an unserem Tisch vom vorherigen Gast, mit Fluchen und lautem Getöse abräumte.Am liebsten wären wir wieder gegangen! Im Verlauf kam von der Dame wenigstens ein "Bitteschön" beim Servieren.Freundlichkeit zu wahren auch bei Stress etc., will gekonnt sein, aber dieses Verhalten war mehr als unprofessionell.

Wenn man in die Kaiserzeit zurück will, ist das Café zu empfehlen. Frühstück ganz okay, Gebäck allerdings nicht nach meinem Geschmack. Marmelade leider nicht als diese zu erkennen und auch geschmacklich nicht. Alles in allem aber okay.

Sehr kleines gemütliches Café aus der Kuk Zeit. Mit vielen alten Fotos und Bildern. Gutes Gebäck, Kuchen und Kleinigkeiten zum mitnehmen oder direkt vor Ort zu essen.Das Café liegt direkt in einer Parallel Strasse zum Marktplatz fußläufig. Ein hübscher Ort zum Verweilen. Eine gute Empfehlung

Lovely little gem of a place. The interior is beautiful, many cool decorations, unique furniture and cozy atmosphere.The desert was fine, we had high expectations and were a bit underwhelmed.The service was fine.Highly recommend for couples and small groups.

Das Ladenlokal des k.u.k. Hofbäckers ist historisch, nostalgisch, urig, einfach zauberhaft! Die feinen Backwaren sind köstlich, vorallem die Linzer Torte, meiner Meinung nach die beste der Stadt.❤

Ich habe dort heute ein Mohnstücken aus Blätterteig gekauft. Der Blätterteig war in der inneren Schicht noch roh und somit kaum genießbar. Bei dem durchaus selbstbewussten Preis umso mehr ärgerlich. So etwas habe ich noch nie erlebt. Daher kann ich diese Bäckerei nicht weiterempfehlen.

Sehr nette Bäckerei. Drei Frühstücke zur Auswahl mit vielen Extras die dazu bestellt werden können. Linzertorte ist wie in vielen anderen Bewertungen erwähnt echt zu empfehlen.

If youre looking for vegan options :maybe look for a different cafe.... I picked this place for my grandmothers birthday because its nice and classical for her and because theyre supposed to have vegan options for me... but t hat wasnt the case: they didnt have any pastry or cake thats vegan (though it even said "vegan" on a sticker on the door... ). The service was poor (maybe she just had a bad day?! But the vegan request seemed to be too much). They do have oat milk - although it seems like they dont use it much - mine was sour - had to order a new coffee... Nothing we ordered (the rest of the family isnt veganwas particularly good (more the opposite....). I hate leaving bad reviews, but I think one should know, if you try the place there is the possibility for it not being the best experience. Well, the interior is really cute cozy old fashioned Austrian coffeehouse style! And maybe they just had a really bad day...

Habe super-feines Frühstück genossen: Linzertorte und Verlängerter. Was ich besonders schätzte, die Torte enthält nicht so viel Konfitüre und ist daher nicht zu süss.

If you are fan of pastries....this is your place to be.. try their traditional and authentic Linzer torte and you will fall in love with it no matter what.

They have around 5 tables outside and some inside as well. Although, if you sit inside in the morning they will take a long time to attend you. There was some mosquitos inside that were annoying.About the price its affordable. If you take a Cappuccino and a Croissant its gonna be around 5€.The waitresses speaks a little bit of English, but they were very kind.

Living breathing history and tradition!The Königlich Kaiserliche Court-Bakery has a long-standing tenure of supplying the royals with the finest pastries and baking goods.They most certainly havent lost their touch. the coffee is aromatic and full, the renouned Linzer Torte is simply divine and the apple crumble i tasted was delicious.Personell is friendly and inviting. The interior is a plush homage to the austrian royal family.

My favourite place to have a coffee in Linz. Cosy and incredibly stylish.

The atmosphere, baked goods and coffee are make this one of the best places to visit in Linz.

Lovey little traditional place to sit inside and eat cake. We also had some beer. They spoke ok English for tourists and took MasterCard - would recommend!

Linzer Torte hit the spot.

Der Dinkel-Mohn-Zwetschken Strudel sieht aus wie eine alte Pizza und ist geschmacklich nicht zu empfehlen. Der Café ist sehr gut, ebenso wie die Linzerschnitte. Ich habe noch nie eine bessere gegessen. Der Service hingegen ist miserabel, deshalb leider nur ein Stern. Der Besitzer sollte sein Personal unbedingt besser schulen!

Bei unserem Silvesteraufenthalt in Tschechien, hatten wir an einem Tag auch Linz besucht. Natürlich durfte da das Kosten einer echten Linzer Torte nicht fehlen. Auf dem Heimweg sind wir dann an der K. u. K. Hofbäckerei vorbei gelaufen und wussten sofort: Da müssen wir rein. Was sich von außen schon als sehr gemütlich, traditionell und herzlich zeigte, bestätigte sich auch in der Stube. Liebevoll familiär eingerichtet und entgegen den anderen Linzern die uns an diesem Tag bewirtet hatten ein sehr sehr nettes junges Personal! Die Linzer Torte war himmlisch - aber auch der Kaffee war vom Feinsten. Absolute Empfehlung, Danke und gerne wieder!
