Italian barista coffee and light bites to take away or eat in a split-level contemporary space.
Delicious coffee and pastries, good environment, nice decoration and friendly staff.
Came in here. The place is very nice and spacious. Beautifully decorated and very efficient service. Lots of waiters maintains the areas for new customers.Had the Viennese hot chocolate and a coffee croissant. It was divine. The only minor area of improvement would be for the signs to match the cakes and pastries. There appeared to be a lot of confusion from some customers which took time at the till.Croissant and hot chocolate were delicious though. Maybe. Bit touristy and full of rude customers.Worth a try if you love illy the brand.
I love the overcrowding of tourists and the many sounds and different languages in this place, one of the places I prefer to be crowded.
The lady working was very rude. I waited in line and then she completely ignored me and took the order of the people behind me even though I told her I was here before them. She said let me take their order first! Very rude and I will not be visiting this cafe again
Great cafe.. nice ambience, good coffee specially love the almond latte
It’s not so usual to find illy coffee shops but in case you find them by coincidence or not, please try at least their coffees. This coffee shop in particular is so nice as it’s located in a very busy area at the same time offers a nice ambience inside. It’s not so sophisticated coffee shops like many in London but they follow the perfect authenticity of the brand and the quality of their products are really good! I’ve been in several coffee shops, their Moca was one of the best ones I have - honestly.
Great Italian aperitivo with some snacks. Good selection of coffees and cakes and amazing service from Gabriele.
Nice caffe with great options. Unfortunately, I was not impressed by their vegan salad as I could not finish it as the choice of ingredients just didn’t do it for me.However, I really enjoyed their dessert and coffee as I had a tiramisu & a matcha latte with coconut milk. It was really tasty that I had a second cup.Definitely a place to grab a quick cup of coffee and chat with friends and colleagues whilst in central London / Oxford Street area.
One of the Best coffeeshops in London !
Illy caffé is a good place to enjoy a great Italian coffee, I ordered a macchiato that was enjoyable plus an Italian fizzy drink. Service was fast, friendly and helpful. Price was excellent. The decoration is really nice and Illy products can be purchased at the shop.
My friend and I Loved our Viennese Cappuccino & Matcha latte. Cute display of espresso cups and a great friendly atmosphere! Definitely recommend it for all coffee lovers out there.
Unimpressive espresso. This is Illy. The quality of your coffee is judged by the quality of your espressos!!! Very acidic / sour and totally unsuitable for espressos. In fact, you have three types of espresso beans at the counter but no one even asked me if I wanted classico, intenso or forte. Very disappointed!
I encountered two members of staff while I was there this morning one young lady who I felt was dismissive and rude, and the other incredibly lovely and accommodating. In my opinion the store manager would do well to keep an eye on the staffs approach to customer service and impliment training where appropriate..
Great place. Nice ambience, very courteous and welcoming staff. Thoroughly cleaned and safety protocols are followed. Nicely located next to the University of Westminster and Oxford Circus. A plethora of choices for coffee and tea. Great spread of food as well. Would Highly recommend.
I liked the brand so thought to pop in their shop. But this is the worst experience Ive ever had in a coffee shop. I went up to the counter to order a coffee and was told I have to find a table and wait for a staff to take my order, unnecessarily complicated, but fine. I found a table and took a seat. Waiter and waitress passing by, but no one seems interested in attending me. Eventually I had a wave and call their attention, the staff looked offended as if I am really interrupting their business. For getting a latte, this process is too much and not worthwhile. There are so many other coffee shops around, so I would not come back ever again.
Nice coffee and atmosphere. Friendly staff
Quirky place, good coffee, great place to meet up just off Oxford
Popped in for a quick take away coffee to refuel and was greeted & welcomed on entry without fuss over being maskless. I cant tell you how much relief I felt to feel welcomed and not have my disability judged. Thank you!As always the coffee was superb and happily made with oat milk to my requirement -extra hot. The loo was sparkling clean -Service with a smile ✨
Enjoyed a superb cafe latte here just off oxford circus .A perfect pause from the shopping frenzy . Staff are pleasant and efficient. Really well appointed interior . Coffee served with a welcome glass of water as they do in most real Italian cafes!
I came here for the coffee. The espresso is great and the cappuccino is amazing. Well balanced and lovely aroma.I love the chandelier made of small espresso cups. I wonder if they are balanced or attcjed by glue.I will definitely come here again if i am in the area.
Very nice coffee and great snack but the broken machine makes constant noise ,, a bit pain
It is my first time visiting here. I live in London and always passing by, never stopped here before. The latte macchiato I ordered was so good, and strawberry Tiramisu was also good we enjoyed a lot. That is why I want to visit here again someday. However, the lady staff on the second floor in the evening, she looked so rude to us. Even we didnt finish our water we ordered she didnt ask us and just took it? how rude? And +1 , my friend came across this place and stopped to order coffee then she added her coffee on my bill without asking. It is always my pleasure when someone kindly asks me if I could pay for my friends coffee, I would love to do it. But without asking, she took our water left and pay bill to me. I dont know what to say.
I love coming here for their coffee especially Americano. The only reason we go there for their coffee. Something they need to think of is the cups and saucers are really not so practical. The cup handles are not designed wisely that is not easy to hold. When you put the cup on the saucer, it doesnt sit properly on the groove. It s style over substance. By the way, the coffee is great
beautiful proportional coffee taste and fancy cups. Good sweets and food selection
Great coffee shop with yummy food!
Lovely coffee and pleasant place to sit with amazing furnishings
Nice cafe, Italian style with table service. Very good service so dont expect one of the bog coffeeshop chains. If you want to seat, a waiter will come to serve you.Hot chocolate is quite average but good place for coffee as the brand is one of the best coffees in the world.
Coffee and food are great, service is very hit or miss, doesnt really matter how busy it is. They are missing some sort of organisation. Worth a visit if you have some patience, skip if you are easily angered.
It remains one of the few cafes for a real espresso. Their nornal one is always good. Try the different countries espressos aswell. Their coffee cocktails are superb as well. Still one of the best espressos out there for me ...
Great quality coffee with a little twist! Service is very good too :)
Do NOT come to this location!!!Walked in for our morning coffee to this location because it looked nice from the outside. Sat down and we were deciding from the menu. Annoyingly asked over and over if we were ready even though we kept saying we need a few minutes, as it was our first time.Waitress put our lattes at the edge of the table and as I was moving the coffee to the middle it accidentally slipped and fell all over the table. The waiter came to clean it and we kindly asked if he could get us another. He agreed yes and walked off. After I went to the bathroom he still hadn’t brought anything. So we asked him again and this time he said “I have to check with my manager.” After checking with the manager, he said she refused to make us a new coffee. We asked to speak to her. She said she wouldn’t make us another latte because it wasn’t her fault and that if we want another one we would have to pay for it, even though it was just an accident. She said it would be “very cheeky of her” to make us a new latte and was extremely rude as she brought it to our table. Absolute worst manager I have ever witnessed. Her photo is shown below.HIGHLT RECOMMEND TO NOT VISIT THIS CAFE UNTIL THEY CHANGE THEIR MANAGER!You will greatly regret spending your money at this cafe.
Surprisingly good breakfast. I had the avocado and smoked salmon on brown bread, one of the best I ever had, very satisfied. The service was very good. Ill be back to taste all the other very attractive looking offers on the menu and on the display... Bravo!
The coffee is simply out of this world here. I just couldnt get enough. We had breakfast as well which was fairly decent as well. Will definitely be back for the great coffee!
Good option for coffee if youre in this part of the city and need a shopping break. Lots of seating available included outside and upstairs. Counter and table service. Large open space.
Poor attention, tension is perceived in the service that rush the client to retire soon. Weak internet service, 5 minutes of use time, and it is cut, again and again, and not by technical problems. The moso I mean that people complained frequently. Good Italian Coffee, bad service from people who are not at the level of London, or at the height of a cafeteria attached to the University of Westminster. I totally discourage this despicable place. And that this criticism serves to change and not get angry. Italian products are historically a pleasure, this place dulls them and leaves them in a bad place. Cheers
Good selection of delicious sandwiches. I had an ice coffee which was lovely. In my opinion they do great coffee. Staff were nice and quick to serve me. Was a little untidy considering it wasnt that busy and plenty of staff were there. Tables needed cleaning. It wasnt dirty though.
Espresso we had was really nice. Better than Starbucks or other famous brands. Friendly professional table service, quiet place and no trashy customers so felt more classy. Prices are better than Starbucks. Clean and with nice music. Can purchase some Illy merchandise as well if you wish.
The management are cheap.. 5 employees.. 3 of them are baristas are managing more than 20 tables with almost 40 people .. You wait 15 minutes to get the menu.. 15 minutes to get someone to take your order.. And another 15 minutes to get your coffee .. Which was flat white.. I really think they are abusing their employees.. The coffee was Ok, but with this much load and crowd.. I think they did a good job. I dont recommend this place especially if it was crowded.
Nice place with great tasty food and snacks. Little problem with the staff as this place is not like other coffee places and they take the order on your seats and the time that takes to bring the order is sometime in my case was long. I asked for extra snacks and the waitress smiled and said that she will brings it but I had to go down to ask another staff for the snacks and buy them directly so they bring it sooner. She saw me when I went down and she rushed to take my order upstairs but, she should have been faster as I waited long enough.
Coffee was perfectly fine, but the service was pretty poor. We werent given a menu when we were seated and had to get one ourselves from the server station. Took a while before somebody took our order, bit everything arrived promptly. When we finished it was difficult to get any servers attention to get the check and was even told by one that he was busy. When it came to paying, there was no question if we would like to pay separately or together, neither was there any smile or thank you when we left.Wouldnt come here again to sit down, but would rather get a coffee to go as the coffee is still good.
Lovely, comfortable place to have a casual cuppa, loads of coffees to choose from as youd expect nice selection of teas as well.Light bites available with table service. One note of caution, there is only one toilet for the whole place (disabled/nappy change etcso there is normally a queue.
Its another nice and convenient Caffe in Regent Street, close to Oxford Circus. Staff are kind and ready to help. The environment is warm and comfortable and its menu is satisfying.
Nice coffee place; offers a lot of variety for coffee; great service offered by the tall young person who serves upstairs- hazel hair and eyes, don t know his name. Kudos to him for making me choose a coffee on my taste. We also ordered desserts, but the quality is not that great. @mapopath
Very nice coffee, authentic Italian flavour ... :)
Very nice place, nice service, prompted staff to answer your request, table service, interesting decoration, coffee cup chandelier. They must keep old recipes in the menu. If the tables are numbered should be easier the waiter find customer.Serving alcoholic drinks also as Venetian splits. Deserve a visit.
One of the best coffees/lattes in the area, nice place and friendly service!
Ive been there a few times and I truly enjoyed my coffee. You have very good options here if you want to try different and tasty coffee combined with flavours that will definitely please you. Snacks are tasty as well, yet a bit pricey. Environment is nice and decorations are beautiful. Its a good place to go with friends or family. Sometimes it takes time until you get what you ordered, especially when its busy. Thats why I put 4 stars and not 5. But in general it is very good! I recommend it for sure!
Forget Costa, Cafe Nero and Starbucks this is the best coffee shop in WHOLE London. Wish I had enough money to franchise this reputable Italian coffee shop. Seriously Londoners take note you wouldnt want to miss this place situated in the heart of London (nearest tube station - Oxford Circus)
The coffee is great, I love the taste of their espresso. However, I can see why a lot of people are complaining on the service. Its pretty slow. Although I wasnt in hurry I did notice that. Also, maybe just slightly overpriced. If you dont mind those two things youre going to have a good time and enjoy arguably one of the best coffees in the world.
Good coffee, strange serving system, slow. Entrepreneurial crowd, some beatiful people. Nice arty brand.
