You get what you pay for, but we didnt pay anything, which is likely why we felt we got nothing worthwhile out of the place. If you want charm and amenities go someplace else. The staff seemed fine, no complaints there, just the rooms feel a bit dilapidated and a bit too mid-2000s, but not in a good way.

great place.its budget and thats what it is,i cant understand why people complain,if they wanted a flash room,pay more and go somewhere else. room while small,was clean,and bed very comfortable. toilet bath is small but still very functionable. staff were friendly, we stayed 2 nights and would stay there again.

We booked online and prepaid, which was easy.Upon arrival place looked a little run down and dirty. Lady at reception was nice and helpful.When we started to walk to our room, along the corridor we could smell marijuana( VERY strong!it has a distinct smell!!!Hallways were very dirty. Rooms were okay, but could have been a lot cleaner. A cover was broken In one room, leaving wires exposed.Overall I have learnt my lesson about staying in a cheap place and will never do it again as we always have the kids with us and I felt it wasn’t a very good environment. If I hadn’t prepaid for the rooms I would’ve gone elsewhere. We only continued with our stay as we were not spending much time there and we were leaving on daylight the next morning.Do not recommend unless you are a tradie (place seemed to have a lot of workersand you don’t mind uncleanliness. 2/10

Stayed 2 nights to visit john hunter hospital,Staff excellent service and friendly, would stay again, basic room but beds great and clean and shower hot, tea and coffee and milk supplied, very happy experience

Walking into the main foyer of the facility felt like a cheap rundown hostel. The room was small like a prison cell with uninviting concrete walls that have marks all over them. The floors looked like they hadnt been vacummed in some time. There was a mug that had been left on the sink from the previous guest with a mysterious coagulated orange substance in it, so there were no other mugs for us to use.The bathroom situation was a nightmare... airplane toilet cubicles have more space then these bathrooms that have both a toilet and a shower. The almost 1 foot step there is to get in and out of the bathroom was fun during the night and to top it off you have to walk over to the other side og the room to use the hand basin.Definitely not worth the $109 for the night and just a heads up to anyone that wants to use their $50 Stay NSW voucher, make sure you call them directly to make a booking. Thats the only way they can accept the voucher.. learnt that the hard way!!!

Very compact but everything is clean and a great place if all you need to do as have a place to put your body down at night.I was talking to the receptionist when I was there and she was telling me that the owner is going to do some major renovations in the not-too-distant future so we may see some significant changes hopefully for the better.

Filthy and disgusting, the most poorly kept room Ive ever seen. Everything from the floors to the bathroom was disgusting. Regardless of price I felt like I was unsafe with how unhygienic it was. S**t on the toilet, hair from the "private" area on the shower floor... just disgusting. Unfortunately I checked in so late at night that I couldnt get elsewhere. Dont stay here

Outstandingly Clean, quiet and affordable accommodation!!! I walked in and was greeted with friendly helpful staff and the room was so clean and quiet and plenty of room of room for two people at even small child. A must book accommodation-Ibis budget Newcastle 👌
