If you have small children do not stay here! Its not child safe whatsoever, a child can walk from the bed straight out the window or out the front door and off the balcony.If you have asthma you wont like the stairs or the walk to town.Definitely got the "half way house" Vibe.However one whole block seemed to have permanents and they all actually seemed very friendly:so you might make a friend.

Our stay at The Reserve Hotel was an all over pleasant experience. We found Jason to be cheerful and helpful and the room generous and clean. We will stay again. Lynne and Michael.

Arrived to find they had changed our booking to a downsized room that we couldnt physically fit.Front of house guy had been there 2 days and was great, but totally let down by management.Will never step foot in this premises again.

Avoid this place , room was average , no smoke detector , noisey place from other tenants , fights + police at 3.25am , rude management .

Terrible rooms. Out of the 1960s. Didnt realise I was staying at a work camp.

The smell was unbearable in the room. Definitely the worst motel Ive ever been to and has to be one of the most disgusting motels in town.

Dreadful, dirty and dishonest!Have not received a refund when they deducted two nights payment for one night.

Wow, this motel is a bit of a blast from the past! Everything is tired and looking a bit the worse for wear, right down to mismatched linen! But overall, very clean and tidy, and a comfortable bed. I would have been very happy with my stay if it had been $30 cheaper: this is severely overpriced for a motel as old as this in such a condition. I would be happy to return if the price point was appropriate to the facility.

Wouldn’t recommend this motel to anyone. The noise is really bad through all hours of the night / early morning, the “kitchen” doesn’t have a sink so I can’t clean my dishes or ensure my dishes were clean to begin with as well as the poor locks on the door and windows. Felt like I had to hide my valuables overnight while I slept.

I didn’t like anything. This place was so disgusting. Bugs everywhere, horrible,worst experience ever. It was a lot of people hanging out around my room DO NOT EVER WASTE YOUR MONEY

I have no idea who gave the good reviews to this place! I am typing now in my "hotel" room with sounds like there is a party with people screaming in next room, the room is dirty with spiders as residents at the hotel.Please stay away from this place!

Looks and feels like a 1960s housing commission flat. Room definitely does not look like the website pictures. Old, faded does not feel really clean. More water coming from various leaks around the shower head than the shower head itself

The beds are good and the room is clean.The bathroom could do with an upgrade.

The stay was appalling to say the least. We booked for 3 nights in a family room but were told it was not available on the morning of our stay. We were given a twin room which was cheaper but were charged the family room rates. This room was smelling very bad, the roof was cracked and popping out, bathroom water pressure was low and wifi not working. Wouldnt recommend for families.

From two girls that come from poverty and traumatic homes, this hotel was no saving Grace. I would like to say it was just like home, however the dead rats at home give us more company than the lack of randles on the cubards and chip eating staff. I was scared for the life as the doors had no working locks, however the view of the other building made up for all of the flaws. I loved the free conditioner as it made my hair really soft, better then the hand soap I usually used. For the cheap price, I would definatley go again and recommend it to anyone who wishes to visit this lovely sad small town of Sale.

Great manager, great room, super comfy bed, unexpected upgrade, clean, quiet, all the things a kitchenette could need. Also great price. Milk, clean cutlery bowls etc and all the usual complimentary stuff like coffee soaps etc.so happy we came. Thanks so much new manager Kim

Great place. We stayed 3 nights. Room was clean and bed was super comfortable. Would definitely recommend staying here

Really clean, comfortable and spacious room. BUT when I see free wifi stated as a selling point I would expect more than 0.83mbps (the only time Ive seen such slow speeds was using a dial-up-modem in the year 2000)

1. They are very reasonably priced for what they offer. Its a motel, dont have high expectations. There were clean sheets with clean room, and no noise - thats all we required as family.2. Staff is friendly and if they cant attend the phone, they respond to voicemail (which I desperately required and they attended my issue urgently)

Extremely disappointed.Dirty, in disrepair and felt like staying in housing commission.
