15 Dacre St, Westminster, London SW1H 0DJ, Ati
Surrounded by cafes and political landmarks in the Westminster district, this hip budget hotel is 2 minutes' walk from St. James's Park tube station and 8 minutes' walk from Big Ben.Bright rooms with modern furnishings feature complimentary Wi-Fi and smart TVs. There are no windows in some rooms.Continental breakfast (surcharge) is served in an understated cafe/bar.
Great location. small rooms. Service is nice but not always available at reception.
Bigup the bar crew, best cocktails Ive had in ages. Give these guys a raise already jeeze
The location is excellent and the service is good too. The ac is limited to 24 Celsius degrees which is too cold for me. the water pressure could be better (not too bad though)
Pros: Quiet, safe, outstanding location.Cons: A bit more like camping. No toiletries or tissues and only one chair. There were only a few hangers and no storage, so we had to keep our suitcases packed and on the floor. The drop down wall desk was broken.I require an accessible room. If you need one as well, a few cautions: While the shower is roll-in, water goes everywhere and the floor becomes very slippery. The towels are oversized and very heavy. I have coordination and strength issues, which made the towels very difficult to use.
Great little rooms, quiet, clean, affordable and excellent location right next to the St. James Park tube station. If you need a drink, go to the shop right at the corner of St. James Station. Excellent staff. Thanks to everyone who works there.
I just returned from London and stayed at Premier Inn Westminster Abbey. This was my first time in London and traveled alone for the London Marathon!1. Cleanliness - my room was clean upon check in and I was Informed that housekeeping was done by request after check in. I did request it and did receive it.2. Room - I had a standard room with a window and it worked for me as I was traveling alone. I scheduled so many tours that I didn’t spend alot of time in my room ! I slept like a baby ! Bed was comfy and shower was great !3. Breakfast - I purchased the breakfast option and it was satisfying. Scrambled eggs, ham, sausage, Porridge (I didn’t eat), options with bread such as croissant, sourdough bread. Yogurt with options of granola and fresh fruit. Fresh fruit such as bananas, apples and oranges was offered. Coffee and orange juice.4. The hotel does offer lunch and dinner options however I chose to eat out in London .5. The hotel has a bar and lounge area6. Staff - I had a good experience with the staff except for checking out when one of the staff member did not and would not acknowledge my presence and went behind closed doors ! I wasn’t sure if maybe I was wearing my Invisible cloak heheOverall I would definitely book again if I’m ever in London and I didn’t let the one employee overshadow the good things about the hotel! They have luggage storage ✌🏼Ps I love London ❤️From North Carolina, USA
Room wasnt ready even though we arrived after 4pm. Door on room wouldnt lock so had to call to be fixed. Blinds also just about worked. Dust on surfaces
We had a lovely stay here on the weekend. Small rooms but very modernised and it uses space/ creates storage really well. Very clean and staff helpful!
Room was very clean and nice, had no window which was fine, however the AC could be better.
Great location near the Buckingham palace Big Ben clock etc.. rooms are modern and clean
I would definately recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in the heart of Westminster it was very clean and quiet.
Fantastic compact clean room, ideal location, friendly helpful staff and a great nights sleep
Personally I would not book this hotel. Ever again. The staff was really nice. But the comfort of the room was so poor. I could have had a better night sleep on a bench with a sleeping bag, in fact I would have rather done that! The Air-con isn’t great, the hotel have the AC limited, so in my opinion the room was way too hot, with no ventilation at all (no windows, even though we was told there is). The pillows have left my neck in pain, becuase of there Firmness and thickness, with the sheet not even been a real sheet, well I guess it’s classed as a sheet. But no one in there right mind would have it in there own bed. Overall a very bad experience that has ruined my time in London becuase I’m so jeffing tired. Not to mention the fact they have clearly taken the photos with wide-angle lenses so they’re a lot smaller than you’d expect.
Wasnt expecting much but everything from the welcome to the room and service was excellent. The staff were charming 🙂
Excellent hotel in a fantastic location, literally metres from St James Park tube station. My wife and I stayed for one night and the rooms were perfectly comfortable. The service was absolutely top drawer. My only wish would be that there could be a few warm items of breakfast
Surprisingly good for value for money nice and clean towls soap water included for the price and location we would definitely recommend
Dont forget to use Hᴏᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking a resort. This web site will compare thousands of booking web sites and usually will have rates much cheaper than others! Thank me later! This place is one of the highest rated in this area. I have been coming here for a long time. If you choose this place you wont regret it.Situated in a good location, room was small but functional, it was very clean and had a lovely comfortable bed. Good wet room facilities. Given were the hotel is located its very quiet, so no being woken up by sirens during the night. We got a good price as well as we booked it well in advance.
The rooms were very nice and clean. Had all necessary facilities and was well maintained. The location was excellent and close to the underground. The only problem was with the cooling in the room which could be improved.
Very nice location, decent breakfast. The rooms af very small, and there is no real door to the bathroom, so everyone in the room hears everything. The bed is not fit for tall people. Also the AC is not very good, meaning you will get some very hot days if you stay at the hotel.
The room are like what I imagine Japanese compact hotels to be like. They are not like coffins, but swinging a cat would be a challenge. However I am not saying this as a negative. You kind of feel like you are on the Starship enterprise. You have a closed off shower and toilet, a bed, TV, small hanging space, and a chair. The TV has digital Freeview, but also a selection of Free films. The TV also has a panel where you can connect your own devices to it (hdmi, usb, composite, but no scart)Behind your head on the bed head board is touch screen to adjust Aircon, lighting, and update the board outside your door if you want to be distributed or not.Oh and there were 2 bottles of free water, but that could have been due to the heat wave. The only downside was breakfast. No bacon or eggs.Oh and my shower was bust. However my fellow stayers raved about the rainfall setting. Mine was more prison yard dousing.
Situated in a good location, room was small but functional, it was very clean and had a lovely comfortable bed. Good wet room facilities. Given were the hotel is located its very quiet, so no being woken up by sirens during the night. We got a good price as well as we booked it well in advance.
Everything you need and nothing you dont. Ideal location and keen pricing for business at Westminster or the Lords. Rooms are compact but a/c, bed quality and shower were excellent.
Excellent place. Besides the location, which is wonderful, the room has all the services you would want, at an excellent price. Very well designed.
Great location as a starting point to see the central London sights. Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey and Buckingham Palace are all within a 15 min walk. The hostess was great, and answered our questions and concerns. (Did not get her name, but she had a small eastern European accent.
Service was nice, room was very technological, they check in supposed to be at 3 and at 2 I was there and they gave me my room, 1 min walking from Jamess park station
Excellent stay in a super central location just few steps from Victoria station, Parliament, Big ben and Buckingham Palace. The hotel is very well organized and perfect for business travel and for short leisure stays. definitely recommended.
Rooms are compact and I found it a bit claustrophobic but that is expected so thats on me! Staff were friendly and location is great!
Rooms are like a ships cabin but very clean and location in central London excellent. Turn a corner and see Westminster Abbey.Breakfast £5 extremely good value
Exceptional service and accommodation. Freshly remodeled rooms are comfortable and just the right size. Comfortable bed with soft linens and nice wool duvet. Cool use of smart buttons for lights, do not disturb, no turn down, window shade, etc. Highly recommended.
Having stayed in multiple Premier inns in the past, we decided to try the hub. A more updated version of the original. We stayed in a standard room. They are much smaller and compact than a regular Premier Inn but a much cheaper alternative than those nearby considering the area we were in. We had everything we needed for a weekend. Probably wouldnt stay in one for longer trips but would definitely stay again when in London for a weekend.I believe they do have bigger rooms though if the size of the room bothers you.As we were out and about most days, this was perfect for us. Bed very comfortable. There is a lounge area near reception serving tea/ coffee etc. No kettle in the room but you do get a bottle of water. We didnt have breakfast there but there is a buffet style breakfast served every morning. They kept our luggage on our last day so we could make extra use of the time we had in the city. Will definitely stay again!
Stayed for a week on vacation. Pros, room was relatively well priced (for London), super close to subway. Free tea and coffee as well.Cons, we got a windowless room that was very stuffy after showering with no ventilation except for the AC. Had to ask them daily to make the room or else they wouldn’t do it. Only gave 1 set of towels for 2 people even though we asked for 2 sets of towels the first day. No amenities except for a generic bottle of soap and hair/body wash. I asked for a shower cap and needle and thread and was told they didn’t have it. Not entirely happy with our stay but it was fine I guess. Would recommend only for short durations only, and not for a family.
The hotel location is amazing, right next to all Westminster sites and in sort walking distance to many others and if you into Tube the tube station is right around the corner. The rooms are small, in our room we didnt have a window. it was enough for us. other than that is was clean, well designed, the shower was good and thew bed was comfy.the hotel service was nice, always there for help and assist.Breakfast was simple and fresh, they dont have hot drinks for kids but when I asked they arraigned it really fast.
More than we could have hoped for. This hotel was in such a great location - close to all we wanted to see, easy to find, right near the tube... we loved staying here. The room had a really excellent layout - totally efficient, no wasted space and room for all our stuff. Everything was clean, comfortable and the staff were more than hospitable. Bonus - the lounge was cozy and the breakfast was delicious. We will absolutely stay here again.
So far, so good. Londons hotels have a more quality feel than outside of London having said that I do like the variations. Premier inns are my usual choice because of their consistency. They dont have irons in their rooms, you have to request this. The towels have some weird feel to it which makes me cringe, but that I am putting down to cleaning products. Not much a view out the windows but I didnt buy the stay for the view. There are no tea/coffee facilities in the rooms themselves, you need to go downstairs for that. Rooms are small, but that depends on whether its just you or a couple (definitely a squeeze for couples).
I was a little nervous that the rooms here would feel claustrophobic as I knew many rooms didnt have windows but it couldnt have been further from the truth. We did pay for the slightly bigger room and found it had plenty of space. There was a light panel where a window would be and we hardly noticed we didnt have one. When we arrived the staff were lovely and talked with us showed us the bar, tea/coffee facilities ect. We were also told if we needed extra pillows and towels they were available. We were in the basement and the lifts were clean and well maintained. Our room was spotlessly clean, a very comfortable bed and we loved the bathroom. The shower was great! It almost felt a little futuristic.A good sized TV and panels by the bed that controlled the lights and temperature of the room. This hub was a 3 minute at most walk from the St. James Park tube station. We saw Wicked and could have either walked back in 12 minutes or one stop on the tube. A fantastic location. There is a lot of road work going on outside but we didnt hear anything once we were inside the building.Right at the end of the street there is a pharmacy, two coffee shops, a pub and a convenience shop.We would both happily stay again. Very happy customers and the price was great too.
Everything about this place is perfect. Rooms are small but spotless and the price was great for such a central location. Friendly staff, free coffee and a very satisfactory optional breakfast.
Basement room with no windows. No tea making facility in room. Constant water sound coming from ceiling. Claustrophobic room. Might be better in another room but my experience was unpleasant.
Overall the experience was good, rooms are quite small but comfortable, we had to ask twice for an extra towel and a pillow and eventually had to go to reception to pick it up myself, also we didnt knew the windows in some rooms are locked without the option to open them, also the breakfast is okay but not that grand, basic 2 types of bread, some spreads and 2 type of pastries and fruits and Yogurt. But would definitely come to stay there again most likely 🙂
Great location, excellent size room for the money, very clean and great shower and bathroom, its basic but its all you need for such a good location. Definitely will stay again when in London
I have stayed here with work on 2 separate occasions in the last month, both were awful experiences. During the first stay, the aircon was broken leaving the room unbearably hot, the shower door didn’t close, and the road works were very loud. Staff agreed to move my room, then this was never done- I left the hotel a day earlier than planned. The second stay was even worse. There was some confusion with my booking (an error made by the premier inn hotel customer services team on the phone when I made my original bookingwhich lead to a member of staff speaking so rudely to me in a lobby full of people, when I finally got to my room I found a hand written note that the staff member had left on my bed telling me to come to reception. I showed the receipt of my payment and confirmation of booking but the staff member came to my room banging on the door at 9pm, shouting and insisting I come back to reception to resolve the issue, this lead to me being forced to pay for the stay twice as the member of staff was so insistent that the original booking hadn’t gone through (it hadso I was forced to pay again so he would leave me alone.I have been chasing every day since leaving the hotel 4 days ago but have yet to be refunded for this double charge or receive any apology for the treatment. All in all a horrible experience.
OK, its clean, modern and a good location. Why the 2 stars. No tea, coffee or kettle in the room. Room is small.Biggest let down was the breakfast, if you can call it that. There was no hot food. Nothing. OK, there was toast and porridge but nothing else hot, e.g. Eggs, bacon etc.Just a major let down.
First off, great location and amazing staff. We stayed for almost a week in a bigger room. Everything was pretty smooth. The hotel is very well maintained and good cooperative team.We had a great stay in London !
Good quiet location close to St. James Park for a 20 min walk to theatres and restaurants. Excellent staff, friendly and helpful, nice compact room, good bed and shower. Would give 5 star but air con in room wouldnt go below 18 so hotter than wanted which disturbed sleep. Otherwise, recommended.
I was meeting family for breakfast, £5 for coffee and pastries which is a local bargain. The staff were very accommodating to our larger than average party, and did not mind that we had young children with us. The eatery was well kept, clean and tidy. Fantastic little breakfast facility.
Excellent service for the money, but if you book in advance obviously is better.. Already stayed twice In last 3 years and would stay again. Super helpful staff. The lounge is awesome. Coffee and tea always available, that was something we enjoyed after have walked in the cold all day.. Spacious enough room (we stayed in the bigger one).. Clean and nice bathroom also..
For a hotel, small but functional rooms, staff were friendly and accommodating. Rooms are clean and most importantly, quiet. Always my first choice when visiting London for business and pleasure. Hubs are excellently located.
Amazing rooms at low fares. TVs have android and Apple TV and built in free movies. Fast internet, check in and helpful personnel. Very close to the tube and the city centre. I will definitely use this hotel again when visiting London next time. Also has several other location in the city.
Very compact rooms, but clean and comfortable. I would have liked my room cleaned during my 4 day stay and there was a lot of construction going on outside , but staff were friendly and helpful. I would stay again
Enjoyed my stay here and will use them more often for future trips to London. Small room but with everything you need. Its lit up so well you dont miss a window.Importantly the bed was comfortable and clean. Loved the rooms controls from the bed even Air con. Shower satisfying and fancy clean bathroom. The lounge area where you can get your drinks is a nice and comfortable too.
Really lovely, modern rooms with amazing air con and shower! We booked one of the bigger rooms and had a huge, comfy bed. Rooms very very quiet. Informed the hotel it was my boyfriends graduation present and they had got him a card and chocolates! Staff very lovely and helpful. Would definitely recommend and stay again!
