28 Great Tower St, London EC3R 5AT, Ati
A 6-minute stroll from the Tower of London and 9 minutes' walk from London Bridge, this contemporary budget hotel is a 5 km from the British Museum.Snug rooms have modern furnishings and high-tech flair. All provide 40-inch smart TVs and complimentary Wi-Fi, as well as rainfall showers. Cosy upgraded rooms add sitting areas. There's a casual cafe with a bar.
Reasonably-priced no-frills chain hotel located close to London Bridge and the Tower of London. Will use again because it is convenient for flying in and out of Gatwick Airport. Rooms and bathroom were small but clean, and I even had a pretty decent window view.
Great little find. Bargain price for central London. Compact but perfect
This gem of a hotel in the bearing heart of London is perfectly located close to Tower Bridge and the Tower of London and Great Fire Monument and many more. The rooms are perfect and all the controls are by the bed and the bed is very comfortable Indeed.Very friendly staff here that make your stay here a great stay Indeed.
I would like to thank ‘hub’ or ‘ tomb’ by premier inn for helping finalise my funeral plans. Stuffed in the basement, the constant smell of damp earth was over powering. Obviously the cleaners spray a lot of fragrances to hide the fact but it doesn’t hide the distinct smell I remember from the dungeons at Warwick castle as a kid. Maybe premier inn could open as a spin off tourist attraction to the Tower of London? It would be very authentic. The lack of escape routes was also worrying.Maybe I could jump out of the fake window in my boxers, right onto the circle and district line which likes to remind you of its presence every 3 minutes. I could hear two bankers on the 23:40 having a chat about how expensive quokker taps were and how hot their nannies were!!!!! Nice bed though.
Stayed here for two nights. I work as a Project Manager in info-tech so I have to travel every other week. I would say the staff here has been the best I have found at any place so far. I usually do 4 & 5 star hotels but this was very last minute and I needed something closer to the centre. The staff made it seem such a high-end experience for me.Especially kudos to Mihaela D., Melanie and Nazia. They always had a lovely smile, relaxed demeanour and very approachable personality. They are very quick in responding and doing everything.Pros -1. The staff stored my luggage 9am without wait or hassle, I checked in at 9:30pm but it was it smooth as butter, they also gave me cutlery for my takeaway dinner which was very sweet, I found someone available and attentive at the reception at 4am which is very rare. Lastly, my checkout was just me handing the card and they did everything for me which was very comfortable.2. I felt safe while working at 3am even at a seat facing the road.3. The hotel location is strategic, beautiful, and convenient.4. Seating inside and outside is very comfortable.Cons -1. Water bottles given everyday should be bigger, 1lt is the standard everywhere.2. Breakfast needs improvement.*Edit was made because I forgot to mention the rooms have AC. BRILLIANT!!
Simple self check in. Room clean. Everything worked. Its a hub hotel so you get what you pay for, but it does what it says on the tin. No complaints
Great service good sized room the price and even an AC!
The motion sensors in the room were not working correctly which resulted in the lights turning on in the middle of the night, any time I moved. They moved me to a new room after 2-3 nights of my complaining. I was promised a partial refund but they didnt follow through. The second room they gave me was just fine (only reason for 2 stars instead of 1).
Lovely,I will recommend that hotel for people who want to go there. Day and night its lovely. Staff are friendly.hotel is clean. 🥳🥳
Excellent views and place a little dated but was fantastic in every other way and will definitely recommend and go again xxxx
Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Excellent location, perfect for exploring London. The room was small but just what was needed as the aim wasnt to spend much time in the room. Very hot, however, so if travelling during warmer months, something to consider if you struggle to sleep when it is very hot as the window doesnt open.
The Hub is in a great location, the staff are very friendly and helpful. The modern rooms are clean and comfortable. We opted for the breakfast which was good value.Highly recommend this Hub
Great location for work. Discovered a hidden pier overlooking the Thames and skyline, if you turn right from the hotel, head towards the carpark and go down the steps. My room had a blocked drain, but thankfully, the staff were brilliant in moving me to a different room. The continental breakfast was basic but just enough to keep you going...
Great location with fast access to underground stations. The room and hotel were spotless and very well maintained. Although the room was a bit small, the layout is very well designed which gives a feeling of space. The staff were very friendly and definite thumbs up for the great value for money delicious. Would definitely recommend and would go back when in London.
Lovely, clean room, although a little on the small side. The only negative was there wasnt the normal Premier Inn restaurant on site but you could help yourself to tea and coffee in a communal room downstairs. You could also buy some meals to take to your room and have a continental breakfast in the morning but we didnt try these as there were so many places to eat outside the hotel.
Ideal for travelers that dont need to spend time in their rooms (not recommend for family). Very small rooms, some without windows but rooms are clean. Breakfast very limited and expensive. Reception service is acceptable. Top location.
Great location near Tower of London. Room was spotless, modern and had a view of HMS Belfast and the Shard. Excellent price for the location. Perfect for a night or two in town. The West end is only a short cab ride away or quite walkable of you like a trek along the river, taking in St Pauls and all the sights along the way.
great idea of a stay. clean and great location. good for a single person or couple.
Can’t recommend this hotel enough! Great location and rooms are super spacious even for a single bed! Also love the technology inside and friendly staff members! Will definitely use the Hub Hotels again in other locations in London!
Perfect location - rooms fine - only niggle we had was with breakfast on our first morning as they ran out of yoghurt - plenty of other choices but you know what its like....Our second stay here and we enjoyed it....
Very well located in central London, cosy rooms, friendly staff. Near to a ton of sights to see! Would definitely stay again! 5*****
This place is a bit of a gem. Great views of Thames and shard if you get an upper floor room and is very handy for a lot of places to visit.
Overall a great budget option, we were in the slightly more expensive rooms, well worth the upgrade.Staff were very pleasant and helpful.Room was small but well designed, bed large and very comfortable. Our room had a small window with a reasonable view of the Shard and Belfast. Window did not open but air conditioning was excellent. Soundproofing was good.Smart functions of TV did not work at all.In terms of location well placed for Tower Hill station and bus services into town as well as river taxis.Borough Market is just across the river for quality food and drink options.
Fabulous location and prices, I paid £50 for one night here. The rooms are small however theres no issue with this, beds are comfy and theres a modern feel to the hotel, I really enjoyed staying here and will visit again.Rooms are also clean and quiet, no window in the room I was in however this was no problem, air conditioning is in the room and can be easily controlled. One star lost due to customer service from night staff, who told me they were fully booked with no rooms available, as a solo female traveller walking around london at 1am I was really hoping for a nicer chat, or recommendation for somewhere else to stay, however I was directed out the door, this would usually be fine, however I subsequently went online, booked the hotel and walked back in again to collect a key.
Quick check in process. Room was clean and tidy. Quite a few bars and restaurants close by, and there are quite a few tube stations and lines close by. Great view from my room of the Thames and the Shard. Would happily stay again.
Small and functional rooms. Very clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Great location with many bars and restaurants close at hand.
Friendly staff (at breakfast Eleonora gave a 5 stat service).Bedroom cosy and, despite no window, the room was inviting, bed comfy and shower/bathroom amazing.Even better than the regular premier inn nearby..would definitely stay again!
Stayed April 2022. Rooms are definitely micro but very comfortable and a good bargain for the price. Staff were helpful and accommodating. The only thing is since the rooms are compact there was no window so when the shower is running the room fills with steam (all over the walls, tv, your items and clothes).
It was clean, it was tidy, it was modern, in a central position. The staff were very helpful and the breakfast for £5 was fab. It even included a Costa coffee and an organic yoghurt.
Start with the positives:It has an excellent location, the staff are friendly, the rooms are clean and has most the amenities you would expect and the value is good. However, the windows do not open in any of the rooms is my understanding as I did ask, the breakfast is very limited (appreciate it is only £5 a night but wouldn’t say it’s worth it), the air con and lights seem to glitch out a lot which means it switches off randomly and also the smart features on the TV did not work.I was torn between 3 and 4 stars, I had to stay for a whole week for work which is why I went for the 3 stars as the room is very small and windows not opening means it feels stuffy a lot of the time.I think for 1 or 2 nights it is a good stay but for anything longer I would advice against staying here.
Very comfortable hotel. Small rooms but have everything you need, beds are comfortable
Good location and affordable price. Rooms are good, but technology is a bit buggy (random restart and turning lights off for 10sec while trying to change temperature and things like that). Also had a sound of water running constantly.Other than that, quite good, mainly due to the location.
Great place, the room whilst small was very comfy, no window, but for one night thats OK. Good sized shower and bathroom. Well thought out room. Slept like a dream, and in a good location. Only downside the breakfast isnt great when your Gluten Free, very very limited, but its London so plenty of places to get something so next time I wont be paying the £5 extra for breakfast
Small, compact, well designed & clean. No external window but very quiet. Good for an overnight stay for a singleton. Cafe ok.
Clean rooms, great location near the Thames and Tower Bridge. Not a fan of the design of the rooms, glass walled bathroom/toilet, frosted glass up to around 5ft, but clear glass above that, if sharing a room then expect a very different experience if you go to use the toilet! really dont understand why these are a thing?!?
I think the staff here deserve recognition for the amazing service they gave towards me, over and above what was expected of them. I had a very exceptional circumstance where I had my brother take critically ill suddenly and I had to travel to London on a moments notice. I had to move his stuff from his hotel into a room beside mine in the Premier Inn. Unfortunately that room was only available for one night, but the staff assisted me without question in storing all his belongings (of which filled the room), tagged them and took them downstairs into their storage toom and assured me I could keep them there until I found an alternative storage location. The staff were warm, caring and understanding during all of this which made the process much easier, so Id like to thank them personally for that. The room was very modern compared to what I was expecting and had a control panel beside the bed for all the lighting, aircon etc. I couldnt work out how to switch the bathroom light on separately from the other room lights which was my only gripe, but aside from that it was fantastic expecially given the price for such a good location.
This was a last minute booking due to Storm Eunice. Staff very welcoming on arrival and we had a lovely room on the sixth floor with fantastic views. When next in London I will definitely book again as price is great, location good with easy access to Underground and tourist spots like Tower of London plus lots of pubs in the area.
Arrived to find the front of house could not find my booking , then when it was resolved we were given the key to a room that was occupied, luckily who ever was in there was out but the security implications are massive . Eventually had the room issue resolved but a free breakfast offer as a good will gesture. Nice touch. Arrived for breakfast this morning and was met rather abruptly by a member of staff who wasn’t pleasant. Overall a poor show by a big national chain. Tainted what was a great visit to the capital
Usually stay in regular premier inns but this was the perfect location. Upgraded to a double bed and would recommend if there are two of you as the room size was more appropriate.
Great street view of London.Very cute, comfy and modern room. Even though small but has everything one needs. The location is amazing as the tower bridge is just a few minutes walk away.A bit expensive because we booked at the last minute.
I actually really rate this hotel for the price point! Even though its next to a main road the rooms are completely sound-proofed. I had a nice view of the Shard, the bed was really comfy and the lighting + temperature were really easy to control. Great location, would definitely stay here again.
Good quality accommodation in the heart of London at a very reasonable price. Had a good nights sleep, breakfast was simple but only £5 - you really cant complain. Friendly staff and an easy check in and check out. Would happily stay here again
Reasonably priced and well located hotel. My only criticism is that the room I stayed in didnt have a window, instead a fake window light box arrangement. This was fine for the one night I stayed however if I was staying longer Id have asked for a different room.
Lovely hotel with views of the Shard. Staff were very polite. They even let us book in early as the room was ready. Only problem was we received 1 towel instead of 2, but staff rectified this quickly and brought towel to our door. Free tea and coffee in restaurant. Room was small but everything we needed and very modern. Lovely shower too.
Good hotel, nicely situated between London and Tower bridge. We were given a 6th floor room which had a good view of the Thames and the Shard. Not too much noise heard from other rooms. This hotel is a hub so smaller than normal Premier Inn hotels, but then we were only in the room to sleep, shower and get changed between daytime and evening things we had planned. First day we arrived the Aircon was working overtime so had a freezing cold room, adjusted the temperature slightly and went out for dinner to then come back and feel like wed stepped into an oven, turning the temperature control app the way down made no difference, luckily could reach the socket to turn it off at the wall and back on again which stopped it pumping boiling hot air into the room.Staff all seemed friendly. Upon checking out we wanted to check our bags into storage while we went off to do a few more things before heading home, but couldnt find anyone for about 15 minutes. All in all pretty good value for money if youre just looking for somewhere to use as a base for exploring the city.
The worst hotel Ive ever stayed in. The staff are absolutely clueless and seriously need training in customer service and company policies and procedures. We asked for the room to be split into 2 single beds 5 days prior to arriving. When we go there, the room was still a double bed. We complained to the manager that this was not done and he said they dont offer 2 singles anywhere in the hotel.30 minutes later he Then said he would try see if there was space in another hotel and there wasnt in the whole of London - lies. So he said sorry and he would give a full refund. 1 hour later he then phones me to disturb my night out and sayz yes they do have double twin rooms in the hotel and he was sorry that he didnt know...... absolutely not acceptable. The manager didnt have a clue what he was doing. He offered another room, failed then offered to refund - went back on his word after making 2 major mistakes and all he could do is make up excuses afterwards. This wasnt the only incident at the hotel, at least 5 others had issues booking in and getting refunds for services not provided. Stay well clear of here the team do not have any idea how to deal with customers or basic issues.I was staying for 3 nights and not once did they come and clean the room or offer new towels, this made our stayed an absolute disaster.Overall, 100% the worst place Ive stayed in ever. Rank rotten.
We stay here for a few nights. The hotel is clean and even though the rooms are small they are comfortable. The lifts and landing could do with a good clean .As for breakfast even though it’s only £5 per person I would not recommend it, We have a dairy intolerant but unfortunately this hotel does not cater for that even though they say they do. When I ask why, was told no one ask for it . As for hotel location perfect. Underground river boat and other amenities are within 5min
Our second stay here. Great location, a very short distance to tower of London. Love the rooms and all the controls in the room, plus we had a good view of the Shard. Staff were friendly. We pre told them it was our honeymoon and they leave us a gift in the room, which was very much appreciated!
Perfect for the job. Almost brutally efficient. If you need a clean, comfortable, quiet bed with no perks, this is for you. I had a works do and would have missed the last train home. I just needed somewhere to stay. Staff really friendly if you need them. All mod cons.wifi, connections etc. Good price for the location.
Had a very comfortable stay as a lone traveller. Everything I needed was there and the bed was super comfy. May favourite thing was the rain full shower and the extra large towels. Fab location and great value for money! Will certainly be checking out more Hub hotels!
