ღვინის ბარი საფერე Sapere - Restaurant in K'ut'aisi, Georgia
ღვინის ბარი საფერე Sapere in K'ut'aisi
Description
Privilege
In my opinion it is the best restaurat in Kutaisi with short full of new flavors menu. Khinkali soup 10/10
MoreDelicious food, nicely served by professional and kind staff. The portions might not be the ones you and all of your family will get stuffed with ordering one meal but its definitely worth giving a few positions a try.Very good experience!
MoreWe came here hoping to taste some good local wines. After arrival we were told that they only serve one type of white wine and that is all they have. The wine was served warm and we are pretty disappointed.
MorePros: Restaurant inside looks fantastic with blue walls, wine bottles and other decorations. Interesting meal selection. Staff friendly but unfortunately speaking just Georgian and Russian. Wine tasty as everywhere else in Georgia.Cons: Portions are small and prices are high comparing to other restaurants that I have seen during 8 nights in different parts of Georgia (including Batumi and Tibilisi). Sadly food was also disappointingly below average. But at least looked very yummy on plate.Last but not least- food prices are different in Georgian and English part of menu. I thought I’m gonna pay few lari less, so pay attention on it. It’s not much but can be surprising. To stuff: you suppose to change it.In my honest opinion it’s kinda overrated. I wouldn’t go back there again and I wouldn’t recommend it to anybody. Maybe if you like aesthetic places to shoot some photos on Instagram then you can surly consider it as a place to drink glass of wine.
MoreI had a lovely evening here. The food was very good and traditional. The staff helped with the wine selection and did a great job. Very nice and friendly atmosphere. You pay a few coins more as in some other places but its worth it.
MoreBest georgian natural wine bar in KUT
Tasty food. Good service. Nice interior. (Khinkali soup on the picture - reminded me of borsch - it was delicious)
MoreWe were in Georgia for three days and this was the best restaurant we have been in. The food and wine were amazing and the staff very friendly. We shared different dishes and tried most of the menu and wine recommendations were great.
MoreCozy and warm place with simple combination of ethnic and modern interior design. Staff was friendly and helpful, recommended great local wine. Food simple, fresh, traditinional and heartwarming. A must try place!
MoreDisappointed. We came in based on good rating, but it shouldnt be that high. This is a classic tourist trap...Nice interior, expensive food and small portions. The wine leaves rolls were just 4, and the "chicken" was the whole actual chicken, not the chicken steak with the side dish. The whole chicken 🐤At the end we were charged 7 lari more for the bottle of water we didnt even order and came to our table anyway. We felt fooled here more than Asian tourists are fooled in Europe.
MoreLooks fine but meals are at student level and I am not referring to students of culinary schools here. Interesting wine selection, nice interior but as a restaurant waaaay to expensive for what you get. My chicken was chewy and undercooked, the corn bread was definitely not made fresh that day. Good for a wine tasting, skip the food.
MoreThe best restaurant + wine bar in Kutaisi, serving absolutely delicious Georgian dishes presented with a modern twist (including Imeretian specialties), but also with a very extensive wine list of lost of kvevri wines, which ironically its quite hard to find in Georgia (especially outside of the capital). The place is also very nice & cozy, as well as the owners or people working there.Highly recommended for anyone passing through Kutaisi who has the least bit of curiosity to experience proper Georgian wine & food.
MoreAmazing restaurant !!!Bartender knows everything about the large wine collection.Food is incredible !A must in Kutaïsi !
MoreI really enjoyed the food here and the service was ok.
Poor selection of meals especially vegetarian, there are some good meat dishes though. Great wine selection yet the portions of it seem to be very small. Cosy.
MoreFood was very tasty BUT it took such a long time! And the restaurant was only 5 tables ( we came second..)
MoreLovely wines, good food and friendly service. A nice discovery in Kutaisi!
It was a bit tricky to reach the place, as there are some work at street, moreover some of the the placed picture sont belong to the place rather the restaurant next to it.The service and food are nice, the chicken with sauce dish come with tiny chicken, a baby one , could be better l. Other than that its nice place
MoreA very cozy restaurant, delicious wine and nice food. Portions are just fine, not small like some people say. Just enough to be pleasantly full. The waiters were very friendly and helpful. If you are in Kutaisi you should totally come and eat here
MoreNo one even had time for us in this place, we were waiting for a waiter for 15 min without any luck.
MoreThis place has a really good atmosphere with cozy lights and serves delicious food. The wine choice is excellent and the waitress was the best we had in two weeks of Georgia. Would come back here anytime :)
MoreExcellent food! Different of what you can find everywhere.Place is nice and good choice of Georgian wine. Very good experience. Plates are not big but delicious. That makes the difference with other places where you have quantities. Prices are a bit higher than other places but we never eat better than here.
MoreThis restaurant is overrated. The dishes are not tasty, they are small and quite expensive for the Georgian standard (poorly imitating gastronomic restaurants). The wine they serve is fine but it is almost everywhere like this in Georgia, with this difference that in this case it is 3x more of average price and 3x less in quantity... very sad, however we like the interior
MoreDo not order glasses of wine here. Total rip off. Bottle costs 32 lari. A glass with barely 75ml 9 lari.
MoreDelicious food, delicious wine and extremely friendly and helpful staff. The atmosphere inside is lovely.
MoreVery nice place with great selection of Georgian wines and tasty Georgian snacks. Must visit in Kutaisi
MoreNice atmosphere and very good food, wine and service.
The khinkali were very good, with some red soup with very interesting taste. Was the best food I currently ate in Georgia (giving that the overall food experience here is very questionable). Would give 5 stars for khinkali, but the fried chicken was tasteless and half raw.
MoreBest restaurant to eat delicious food and drink marvelous wine! One of the most special places Ive ecer been to ;)
MoreSuperb food and wine, very stylish and cosy place. Perfect for dinner date.
This restaurant is probably one of the best place we have been to in the whole country! High level food, reasonable prices and really nice staff and decoration! Do not hesitate to go there!
MoreGreat food, great wine and lovely staff. Definitely a place to go to when you are in town.
MoreThis was the best wine bar we visited in Georgia period. On one hand their wines but also the food here were more than excellent. The sommelier of the place really was able to give us some great recommendations to go with the good we ordered, also sitting outside the place has a real laid back feel to it. Would recommend going here!
MoreNice place with delicious food and excellent wine
Without a doubt one this was one of our favourite meals in Georgia after almost a month of travel. The restaurant is beautiful - the walls are decorated with wine bottles, local ceramics and other art pieces, and our chairs were upholstered with rustically patterned local fabrics. The vegetarian options were delicious. Highlights were a simple but perfectly dressed tomato salad with loads of purple basil, mchadi with multicoloured balls of puréed vegetable and the oven roasted cubes of potato. We had a few different white and amber wines by the glass. All were tasty and interesting without being defective (which is often the case with wines we’ve tried in other restaurants). When we asked the waitress about the agricultural motifs painted onto our plates she explained to us their significance with great enthusiasm. The music was great too. They were playing relaxing Georgian opera-style folk to which the waitress would occasionally sing along.Check it out! It’s worth the stroll across the river.
Moregreat atmosphere, realy nice waitress, great choice of wine, good music, nice ambience
MoreBest wine choice in Kutaisi, excellent cuisine and very lovely and kind staff with knowledge of wine and passion for it. Highly recommended.
MoreGreat atmosphere. Very relaxing. Nice end to a hectic day
Exceptional place with interesting and very tastefull dishes and wine. The atmosphere is very calm and friendful. Can recommend to anyone.
MoreIf you want to try modern interpretation of Georgian cuisin, come here. I would recomend sulguni rolls, however all the other dishes are very delicious too.
MoreGreat restaurant. Great food and super friendly service. A night to Remember and recommend
MoreVery good food and excellent wine selection
Good food and good wine. They have also live music, which was really good. The portion of the main dish was small, so make sure that you order the entrance. ;)
MoreVery kind persons on the service, speaking very well English, Prices expensive for Georgia, fireplace not working well and there is smoke in the room
MoreVery nice cafe, with interesting interior, peculiar cuisine and dishware. Good prices for this kind of place. A big variety of wines, although I didnt tasted them
MoreExcellent service, cozy design, wise selection for picky guys like me, tasty appetizers and very good prices (some wine was almost half more expensive just 100 meters away).
MoreFavorite restaurant for us in Kutaisi. The food and wine here is delicate, well curated and done elegantly. Everything here was wonderful and delicious. One of the few restaurants that I miss dearly.
MoreWe came here in the pissing rain with severe hunger pain. We leave this place stuffed to our face with good food in a happy mood
MoreVery nice place, nice staff that speaks English, very good food. Wines looks awesome. The only BUT are European prices, mainly for wine - glass of red wine for 9 GEL is too much for Georgia.
MoreGreat wine, great food, great atmosphere, English speaking and very nice staff, affordable prices
