Lovely quiet courtyard for outdoor eating, chilled music, friendly waiter, and really tasty food. I had English breakfast, a coffee and a green juice, for 910 lek. Definitely recommended.17 Oct 2022 update - sadly, does not exist any more.

Although the reviews suggest otherwise, we found this restaurant to be a little underwhelming. The burrata was still cold from the fridge and the other appetizers also didnt completely deliver. The main courses were better. Staff was very attentive.

A great place to eat in has outdoor and indoor seating area the menu is very rich and the waiter knew all the details about the dishes he recommended grilled aubergine with two kinds of mushrooms and cheese a Yasr I will never forget so richWe also had Caesar salad and ox salad really fillingThe mushroom soup was very special as it also included a base of pumpkinThe veal carpaccio was very unique in taste and presentation The carpaccio is rolled and filled with Gorgonzola cheese, crisp Parmesan and baby rucolaThe bread was also very tasty and was baked with olives inside

The grand pasta I ordered was perfect. Highly recommended. Also we had Gold salad and Spaghetti with ragu that were the best ever. The restaurant is very cosy and has very kind staff. Its near the city central square. We had a dinner that was delicious.

It’s a fantastic restaurant we came across accidentally! We enjoyed the best dinner in Tirana there. The service was impeccable Xhezo was very efficient and polite and had an eye for detail. Food was delicious and the ambience was perfect for a date night.

Fantastic food from start to finish! Lots of vegetarian options, but also good meat dishes. I can highly recommend the sautéed eggplant and basically any of the homemade pastas. The servers are also extremely friendly and we ended up coming back several times.

Fantastic restaurant, one of the best in Tirana. Located in a beautiful shady patio off the street. Great modern Albanian cuisine from the more simple lunch dishes to the more sophisticated dinner selection. Friendly and competent service.

This is a charming restaurantwith a very good service and wonderful tastes. We ordered a couple of starters and a main course each other and hardly could finish our dinner. Big quantities at a reasonable price. Very nice ambient.The red whine was a little bit warm though, but nothing important to prevent us from having a nice experience

Its my last night in tirana and gladly I had an amazing dining experience at Ejona.. the atmosphere is beautiful and the staff are very polite and serve you food with a smile..I enjoyed the mushroom soup and I loved the veal shank it was perfectly cooked and the polenta that came with it had a nice texture and a soft taste that complemented the veal perfectly

Me and my kids loved the food. We also ordered some extra mashed potatoes what was not on the menu but possible. Really nice ambiance, good service, tasty food, nice portions, good price. Absolutely recommended 🥂

Do you ever have a meal that exceeds your already high expectations, and that you just know you want to repeat? We had just that experience at Ejona.Located in Tirana’s trendy Bllok neighbourhood, this laid-back, high-end restaurant offers an imaginative menu and professional, very friendly service. Most importantly, of course, the food is fantastic (*Note: they accept Visa).We started by sharing an appetizer: Roasted Mushrooms tossed with sliced almonds & flax seeds and garnished with olives, asparagus, cheese cream and Parmesan cheese. This a superb appy: a fantastic start to the meal.We next shared a Volcano Salad: spinach accented by crispy Parmesan cheese, cherry tomatoes, pomegranate, sesame & flax seeds, and aceto cream (a delicious cream dressing based on Modena Balsamic Vinegar - just sublime).In all honesty we could have just ordered one of each of these dishes per person, drank wine and gnoshed on their fluffy, delightful olive buns and left happy - but we were glad we shared because that left us room for two fabulous mains.Full disclosure: we both adore dining on rabbit dishes so we tend to order them whenever we get the chance. That said, we know good rabbit (and, alas, have encountered the not-so-good as welland something told us these folks knew how to do it right.One of us had the Rabbit Role. This is delicious rabbit meat wrapped in turkey prosciutto (yes, you read that rightand cashews, served on a pool of absolutely off-the-charts rabbit demi-glace accented with a wild berry reduction. Easily one of the best rabbit dishes we’ve ever enjoyed anywhere in the world.The second dish was Rabbit Leg baked with chickpeas, cream cheese, porcini mushrooms, pearl onions in a rabbit bubble wine demi-glace. The resulting dish had a cassoulet-like quality: rich, layered and filling (we couldn’t finish all the chickpeas).We ordered some Sautéed Spinach topped with goat cheese as a side, and while it was lovely we really didn’t need it to be satisfied.We also enjoyed two glasses of a very nice Italian Spumante as well as a liter of sparkling water, while one of us enjoyed a superb glass of red wine with his main.Our only regret for the dinner: we were too full to order dessert!The entire fabulous meal was 5,000L (which included a 400L gratuity for the fine service). Fantastic value for money. We will be back. Highly recommended.

The food is absolutely delicious, the staff very friendly and competent and the location is beautiful- it is one of the best restaurants I was in Albania. I can recommend it to everyone!

Loved this place! So nice and cozy. The service was excellent, the food was so delicious. The price is adequate for what you get.I liked everything about this place, highly recommend!

Irreproachable service!The waiters are ready to come to the table at your slightest nod.The dishes are perfect, the size of the servings are quite big.The variety of wines is somewhat lacking, but those present in the menu are excellent.

The place is simply amazing. The food is super tasty and well presented. The staff amazingly helpful. During my 3 days stay in Tirana I ate here 3 times as I just knew it was not possible to find a better place. Falemiderit guys!

Very good service. The food is original and tasty. The cheese sticks with sesame served with apple and honey is very good. The chicken breast with orange is very tender and perfumed. I recommend also the beef with mushrooms and parmigiano. Highly recommended 👍👍

The service wAs good , atmosphere was nice , but the food that I ordered was just ok. The lamb shank is really not soft enough…. Maybe need to boiled it for longer. If it cooked long enough, the lamb shank should feel a bit melting in your mouth.

Our first dinner in Tirana set a very high bar. The food is very delicious especially the appetizers cheese sticks, aubergine and burrata were top. Highly recommended.

I loved the place, it looked really beautiful especially at night. The food is amazing, a little bit pricey but you get what you pay for. The staff was really friendly and helpful and the service was excellent.

If you are a person that loves tastes with a twist like me, thats the place to go!Rabbit salad, pasta with orange, frozen cheesecake, and many, many other special dishes await you there!I d go as many times needed to taste all the menu!

kind of a posh place. it is a bit too much. more pretending than being. food is ok to good. it is much to loud. even in the smoke free area you smell the cigarette. not my style. but if you want to see and be seen it is a gooodplace.

My favorite meal so far in Albania - everything was perfect, the service, the food, the price. The volcano salad and chicken breast were amazing. The chicken was honestly one of the best I’ve ever had. Highly highly recommended! I can’t wait to be back!

You can feel the warmth and beauty of this place even when you first enter it.The two guys that served us were so, so kind, they kept checking on us and making sure we liked everything, and the food was made pretty fast.Everything you can see here was a combination made in heaven! You can notice they they offer unusual combinations of food but they are doing it insanely well, all the flavors go together. Props to the chef/s.It makes my heart smile knowing that this place exists, and if you are from Tirana or going there, please visit it! It is truly one of the most unique experiences Ive had, Id give it a million stars if I could. ❤️

Delicious food, top notch service and great atmosphere. We ate at Ejona 4 different times during our stay in Tirana, everything we tasted (both on the lunch and dinner menuswas great and the staff made every meal a special moment with their attention to detail and professionalism. Oh and the prices are super reasonable! I cant recommend this place enough.

The staff are super friendly, great outdoor sitting area and wide selection of dishes. We had avo tartar and the stuffed eggplant which were amazing! I cant wait to go back again

DON’T MISS THIS PLACE. We had an amazing time there. In my opinion the best restaurant in Tirana for Mediterranean food. We started with lunch and it was so good that we had to come back for dinner. The fennel salad for lunch is in my opinion just out of this world. Our waiter, Eraldi was incredibly considered and professional which made the experience even better. Thank you guys so much for putting so much effort in it.

Food used to be delicious and portions big enough, but seems like it changed. 620,00 ALL for this chicken breast is not worth it! Note that they also have delivery fee and package fee. (Not mentioned on the phone)Edit after restaurant response: there is no menu on your google my business listing, only few old photos from other travelers. Regarding the quality and portions i repeat it’s not the same as before , the portions are smaller , the broccoli , potatoes and chicken breast did not match the price that i paid for. Not to mention the caesar salad (the dressing was horrible and the bacon). The client should be informed for any price changes including delivery fee. Added the caesar salad photo aswell

As some other reviewers have already written, there is nothing to complain about in terms of service and ambience. Taste of the food is good as well. What bothered us, however, were the portion sizes: The dishes are already priced above average. You would expect at least a normal portion. But far from it: The portions are small, so that we were not really full even with an appetizer. This is especially true for homemade pasta: starting at 400 LEK for five ravioli is quite heavy. Even the portion of beef tongue for 900 LEK does not fill you up. We left the restaurant unsatisfied and got something to eat at the snack bar afterwards.

I just love it when the place makes me leave a good review so that people can come and taste something uniquely beautiful, props to the chef, the service is out of this world, you can pay with card.Every meal is prepared carefully, the taste is mix of few tastes and you just wonder how come someone thought of this idea and you are left amazed.Its gonna be selfish of me to spoil what everything tastes like but I hope the pictures convince you to come and see, experience it yourself, its also not that expensive, the interior is also cozy and welcoming.

The most delicious food in the whole Albania. The customer service is top-notch which is already the common thing but they went above and beyond. 6 guests were just entering the restaurant while the waiters already put the tables together side by side so the group could sit comfortably.We received proper explanation of all the lunch options. And been provided the WiFi password right a second prior asking for it. Waiters are friendly. Food is delicious. Serving is beautiful.Location is central. The interior is so cozy that you dont want to leave the place. Music is pleasant to ear.Highly recommended a thousand times if youre into tasty food in the nice comforting place :)

You know you really like a restaurant when it’s the first one that you felt inclined to leave a review for. I’ve dined at Ejona on five occasions and not only enjoyed the food, but was pleased by the warm welcome I received each time that I visited. The ambience and decor are fantastic, too. I would highly recommend visiting this restaurant. Thank you to the staff and chefs of this wonderful place.As for food recommendations, the pan-seared filet mignon (served at dinnerwas my favorite... at my request - the second time that I ordered this dish - it was served with mashed potatoes and asparagus. My second favorite was the couscous dish (served at lunch- though the menu changes dailywith carrots, broccoli, pumpkin, and fried cheese balls.My only criticism would be the Albanian donuts that were served at breakfast- they just weren’t as good as I expected them to be. After enjoying the donuts shared with me by an Albanian grandma in the past, hers were much better in comparison. Naturally, it can be hard to beat a family recipe, so I won’t deduct a star for the donuts.

This place was an incredible find! We stumbled upon it while walking around! The service and hospitality was awesome! And the food was delish!! We had the blueberry truffle ravioli, and potatoes and Brussel sprout dish and the eggplant with mushroom dish, with a glass of Albanian wine! It all tasted great and the atmosphere was perfect!

Great place for a quality meal in Tirana. We stopped in for a late lunch and were almost put off by the large construction site next door, but found that in the courtyard it was clean and quiet.Lovely courtyard with some great decorations, real trees and vines, and comfortable seating.Staff were super helpful and friendly and spoke English well.Each day for lunch they do a different menu from 12 to 4pm, and the great thing is that they have a full display of all the dishes so you can go and see them. All look great.Food was very fresh and very tasty, generous servings and very good value.Apparently Friday they do seafood lunch with different fish and seafood pasta. Looks like we will be back Friday! 😎Update: so we went back on Friday and had the seafood lunch. Same experience before, excellent service and great food. The waiter even remembered my wifes preferred meal!Highly recommended.
