Unfussy pick for Portuguese tapas, salads & other fare served alongside craft beers & local wines.
Awesome place! Great music great food great price is not just a lie! We enjoyed every bit of the 2 person tapas menu. I am against reviews but this place is awesome. Lovely place with everything you need for a lovely dinner
Great atmosphere and all the staff are very friendly and chatty. I just had one dish as I’d already eaten but it was very nice, some good cocktails too and the music 👌
What a place ! Excellent music and Portuguese petiscos (tapas). The owners is a lovely guy, always pleasant and with a very good musical taste. You can also buy vinil from his excellent collection. We will be back
Great local restaurant near our place of stay. Food is good, cocktail drinks are even better, with very good price. The owner/waiter is also very friendly to chat with. Very casual and relaxed feel
This a review for the record store only. What a pleasant surprise!!!Small selection of vinyl, but very carefully selected so you dont have dig through old rubbish to find something of a worth. The owner is very kind and ready to engage in the vinyl discussion.Highly recommended!!!
Nice little place, good food, nice people and awesome music
We had our first meal here in Lisbon. Close to the place we stay. It’s a small restaurant with nice decor and unique food. Staff were very friendly. We ordered a tapas combo to try authentic Portuguese food. They were tasty and nice. The only thing with me was that all tapas were cold dishes. I would like to have a little hot tapas as well. But overall, this is a relaxing little place to eat.
We love this place! Nice people and good food for a fine price.
Saw the reviews, and yes, dead on! This is a great find! The food is simple, and yet varied! Friendly owner. Highly recommended, and I dont often write reviews! Get the "tapas plate for 2". Really expertly done. 5 stars!
This is a wonderful place for food, ambience and music!! We had the Portuguese sharing platter; 3 days in Lisbon and it was the freshest and tastiest thing we’d had so far! If you love a homely, hipster vibe this is the place for you. Please support local and go here for your mind, body and soul!!
Living nearby we loved visiting Luis Tapas restaurant! Outstanding food, cozy spots to sit outside, very good music and a great host make this place truly special. Everything we had was very good. The Octopus salad, chocolate cake, cheese board, the ham, black-eyed peas salad and the white whine were excellent. There is a degustation board combining them all. Much recommended.
Cool music, tasty food, fair portions and good wine!
Our main option was closed so we came here as a „Plan B“ and in the end this was the nicest evening here in lisboa so far! Such a nice little restaurant/record shop. The shops owner has a really good taste in music, you can buy some records (i did ☺️)and eat some delicious food. The selection is not big, but this is what i like.Thank you!
Sat at an outside table and had a great tapas combo selection with a glass of wine. Really friendly service and nice people watching spot. Google says it opens at five but that’s just for drinks which worked just fine to enjoy a drink first.
You want to get away from the crowd and enjoy some music and a drink, this is the place.
doVigário’s was so delightful we went back twice even though we only had a few days in Lisbon. If you have a passion for music and want to browse records while enjoying delicious Portuguese food, this is your place! The owner takes great pride in his offerings and does a fantastic job with the restaurant and record store.
A quirky, intimate restaurant that serves delicious tapas. The place has an eclectic feel to it as it’s small and cosy (only 4 tables). The waiter recommended what to order, and his choices were fantastic, including the most tasty guacamole I’ve ever had. If you’re looking for somewhere authentic in traditional Lisbon, give this place a go. You won’t be disappointed.
What a nice little record store/tapas bar hidden in Alfama. We had the vegetarian tapas and it made a nice little evening snack, just what we needed. Recommended!
Delicious tapas, but disappointed with dessert. The waiter was friendly and the location has a music-touch. The Portuguese tapas were delicious. It is only a unfortunate that the dessert went wrong. The apple pie was still frozen and we stopped after one bite. The waiter did not charge us for this pie, but it is a pity as the rest was great.
Most amazing, friendly bar! The owner recommended the most fabulous white wine I’ve ever had in my life, lots of friendly staff, great relaxed vibe with amazing music. We didn’t try the food but looks amazing!!!! 🤩 highly recommend
This is my favorite spot in Lisbon! Great regional tapas type food prepared thoughtfully with high quality ingredients. Excellent music and record selections from all sort of genres. The owner is fantastic and friendly. Overall great experience and highly recommend!
Great little find. The owner is great and loves quality music. His choice of vinyl records was wonderful and we could have taken his whole store and played them at home - just our taste. Food and wine was very good and reasonably priced. Highly recommended.
This was such a gem that we stumbled across. A few little tables in an amazing record shop - we had brilliant vegan tapas and listened to great music. Could spend all evening there. Thoroughly recommend for an intimate evening
My partner and I had a really good night at this bar a few years ago so were excited to go back recently. We were pleased that it was just as good as we remembered, amazing tapas and relaxed authentic atmosphere with great music. Definitely recommend!
Owner forced me into having a port and tonic, which sounded weird, instead of a gin and tonic. Was actually really good. Then my friend accidently broke the gramophone and we had to leave quickly. Food was good. Highly recommended.
This was the best meal we had in Lisbon! We had the tasting menu for 2, which was very reasonably priced and featured many traditional Portuguese foods (cod, sardines, Iberian hamprepared deliciously. Would highly recommend!
Beautiful food and the owner is great. Alternative rock music playing and a fantastic record store as well! Unique and great experience if youre in the area, highly recommend. Also gin and tonics are top notch!
Made its expectations come true and even better. It appeared we were eating in a record (vinyl!shop.Very friendly host serving us very tasty Portuguese tapas and a nice white wine.Try the starter of nachos with really fresh made guacamole too.Highly recommended.
Delicious vegetarian tapas and drinks. Host is very friendly and his wife is an amazing cook :-Its a quiet neighborhood away from the crowds but they have limited seating so make sure you call ahead.
This was the BEST meal we had across our entire 10 day trip on Portugal. So glad we came upon this place. The food was incredible, and we were able to get a real taste of Portugal. Excellent value for the amount and quality of food received. This is one of those meals we absolutely will not forget! If youre ever considering eating here, just go it - guaranteed you will not regret it!
A neighbourhood gem you should definitely visit. Their menu for 2 is delicious, the waiter is a amazing, friendly and polite, and the interior is quite striking and vibrant. We loved it!
If youre looking for a place with a great and easy going vibe, which is far from the crowds and are a person who likes good wine and the best tapas in town, doVigario is where you have to go! Ad a super friendly owner and stuff and youll have a perfect evening. Having experienced the big Portuguese tapas menu with a bottle of wine recommended by the owner at the beginning of our trip to Lisbon, it was obvious where we gonna spend our last evening. The food was delicious, especially the superb octopus salad and so was the wine. Highly recommended!
What an amazing experience. They do a few things, but do it really well, with great ingredients. Highly recommend spot
So many good things to say about this place~ food is amazing. 👌🏽 Great selection of craft beer and vinyl for sale, and the Atmosphere is really quite spectacular. 😘 A gem in Alfama. You must go. Enjoy~ whether you are a foodie, craft beer/wine connoisseur or a music lover they have got you covered. ♥️
Wonderful experience at DoVigario. Food is amazing, fresh products and vegetables - service is also excellent. Very affordable - great ambiance. Will come back for sure !
Very nice place and friendly staff. We ordered a “degustacao de tapas” in two and we ate well and abundantly (bacalhau, octopus, ham, cheeses, beans, olives). I recommend it.
Super cute hidden jam in Alfama. Great gin tonic, and very nice and friendly waiters.
Cute and delicious, just follow recommendations. Good 70s playlists too!
Great place for local tapas! Its a small, local restaurant serving local tapas with craft beer. We took the shared platter with cheese and iberico ham as well as home made hummus dip. Everything was good and fresh. Abd the service is very friendly!
Fantastic little place to grab a lunch. Outstanding music (quiet enough to still talkbut everyone was bopping heads and tapping toes, the owner knows his music. Small selection of records, new and used, for sale. Every one of them is a winner; you cant buy a bad record here. The food was fantastic, service good. Seems to be cash only. Talk to the owner about music.
Lovely experience - fantastic owner and extremely well receptive staff. Would recommend highly for any beer fan
Cool Ambiente and friendly host! Try the cheese plate it’s delicious
Amazing place, great food, super nice people working there - We loved it!
A small cafe with great vibe and a relaxed, fun feel. The goat cheese with herbs tomato purée sandwich is very substantial so best to be shared. Nice coffee.
A really nice place to get a quick bite! I had a very tasty roasted mushroom and camembert cheese toasty, absolutely delicious. The service was kind and fast. I also loved the interior!
Very nice atmosphere and the waiter spoke good English. The food was delicious and was perfect after not having a great nights sleep. Would definitely visit again when we next come by Lisbon. Thanks.
Marvelous tasty food , healthy freshly made but not a traditional Portuguese cuisine but a must try once in Alfama .A cozy place with great hospitality and friendly staff with 70s American music
If your coolest friend lived in Alfama and cooked so well, this would be his place!Great food and excellent service at the right price 👌🏽
Fantastic and super tasty cheap food and drinks (try the fresh juice). Intresting interior and the staff is super friendly.
