cybo - Restaurant in Vatican City, Vatican City
Fantastic. I love the place and ambience. Inside they have a formidable bar, run by people who are very skilled. They play live music, but not too insistent. You can have a conversation without having to shout. The food is really good as well, only problem is I think they use crack in their bread. It’s so good, couldn’t stop eating it! I will be back every time I come to Rome :)
The food was mixed. Some of the things were excellent, and some not so good.Service had issues. One of the kids ordered a pizza. The waiter did not take any notes, and brought out a burger. The rest of us had our food. Our daughter was the only person not having food. At that point in a good restaurant they should have taken the first margerita ready and bring it out to her. Instead we waited and waited, and kept seeing pizzas going to other tables…Not again. Then they brought us a limoncello to apologize for the mishap… but instead they could have given us the pizza for free, or offer is the coffees. It would have gone much better. Low taste.
Went there 4 times - no drama, well located and good food.
Good selection of teas. Waitresses are very nice. We came here just for teas, because we already had much at a different restaurant. But the food we see here on other tables looks very good. Should have came here for lunch. We would come here again, but we are leaving to the next city in our trip. So, if you are looking for good tea or good food for lunch, stop by! Does not look like touristy trap.
Great food, nice wine and friendly and attentive staff.
A great place for dinner. Everything we ordered was super delicious
Awesome place in a very central street. Food was great and the service very quick. I recommend this place.
Fantastic! A breath of culinary fresh air. Come relaxed. It isnt about the speed. It is about the quality. We really loved it.
This very nice restaurant is located near Piazza Navone. The restaurant was recommended to us, so we called to reserve a place for dinner. We were delighted with the very good service. The food was divine, I would especially recommend the risotto with prawns and truffles. Definitely try their prosciutto and warm focaccia. The wine selection by the sommelier was perfect. Live music was really nice!
The food and the street and the restaurant itself were really nice, the service could be a bit better, with more information about foods and drinks, and a few times we asked for menu and people just forgot about it. The coctails were not so good, but because of food still 4 stars.
Average food and average service. Waiters don’t seem to be happy doing their job and don’t expect a smile from them!
Best lasagna I have ever eaten. We also ordered a plate of cheese and carbonara, which were 5/5 and 4/5, respectively.Carbonara was a bit too “heavy” with the combo of truffles and beacon.
Very good! Location is convenient after visiting the St Peter Square and the Castle of St Angelo. The setting is super nice with tables on the street. Staff are friendly and helpful, our food took sometime to arrive but it was worth it! The aubergine parmesana was great! Pepper pasta was light and fresh- although a bit cold. The seafood risotto was a masterpiece 👌🏼
Truly amazing place, a bit overpriced but no wonder with this location. Friendly staff and delicious food.
Really nice food and good service! Nice cocktails too!
Such a great spot! Really nice to tourists, amazing atmosphere with a beautiful wall, and amazing food and wine. We might be back in our short two days in Rome because we loved it so much!
Horrible experience here—I ordered a gluten free pasta, which the waiter forgot to put it in as gluten free. I have Celiac, so thank god I confirmed before taking a bite! It then took over 45 minutes to get my food—everyone else at my table had been served multiple courses and finished eating by then. When the pasta finally came out, it wasn’t even cooked fully. I genuinely think they sent someone to the store to buy gluten free pasta. I expected the dish to be comped after all these issues, but was still charged. Would not recommend.
The squid was really tough and chewy, and the sea bass was unfortunately just as bad. Avoid this place, you can find a much better restaurant just around the cornet for the same price.
The most amazing staff. Incredible cocktails and wine and for both you have a huge choice. Great atmosphere and music, aswell as the affordable prices for a place I would classify as a deluxe experience.
Food was good and the service was amazing! Raymond made sure our needs were attended to. Our waiter was helpful and even the young man who had only been working one year was wonderful and answered all my American touristy questions. Great experience. Cheese plate was awesome!!!
A fantastic restaurant near to piazza Navona. We tasted a delicious carbonara and an amazing pinsa romana. The staff was excellent and willing to help us.
Nice service and good food!
Amazing place!!! Great DJ and music. All cocktails which you would like! But the best here is stuff! Very attentive, creative and customer oriented!
Amazing food, great atmosphere and service. Only been in Rome for 3 days and back for the second time - highly recommend
I came here for a meal on my last evening in Rome. I was looking for special food and a relaxed atmosphere. My husband had grilled octopus and prawn risotto and I had steak. We found our food to be fairly average although presentation was excellent. Jacket potato was served with steak and salad. I was expecting more considering this is an expensive restaurant. I also found service not to be as warm as we experienced elsewhere.
Considering how busy this restaurant was, I can’t rate the place high enough. Everything was excellent - service, food, wine options, music ( live artist one evening singing hits that most people know, and a great DJ the following evening). Theres a lot of competition around, but the meal was so good we went again a few days later. Another plus, the portions were generous so you leave the restaurant pleasantly stuffed :-)))The menu isnt vast, but theres something to suit most pallets, not overpriced and definitely worth a visit.
Excellent, out of the box as well as traditional food. Great ambiance and phenomenal service. Truly a great dining experience! They’re doing everything right!
The food and the staff were AMAZING!! Highly recommend. Top notch service and fresh food in Italy. We had the margarita pizza, fries and carbonara. They make everything from the olive oil to the fries.
Very nice place. The food was delicious, kind and helpful service, music comes from inside. The prices is higher than average but the service is also higher than average.
Best pinsa ever!!!! Soooo good. Loved it. Staff so nice too. There’s live music at night. Also at a great bustling street. The menu is great. Caesar salad is also very good. Come here for sure. Just a little pricey but definitely worth it.
The best hostería in Rome! We enjoyed the outstanding dinner and great atmosphere. Food was excellent and the staff (specially Eliowas magnificent. You have to experience it!
Sooooo good! The Food, the staff excellent! We we t back in two days. Highly recomended👌👍☺️
Service is very good, menu a bit limited. The restaurant was cold as the doors were left open. So decided not to have a desserts, coffee or cocktails. Shame
I wasnt expecting much when I ordered a burger, but OH MY GOD! Divinely delicious!
Glitzy place doing variations on Italian cuisine. Food varied from very good to poor. Service was terrible. Waiting ages for wine, drinks etc. Many things way over priced. Cant recommend it unfortunately.
Our experience at Cybo is as absolutely fantastic, from the ambience to the food - everything was a five star service. The spaghetti carbonara and steak we ordered were delicious as well as our wine and cocktail. Definitely the best restaurant in Rome, you won’t regret it
This place was a whole scene out of a movie. Beautiful live band and a great ambiance. This is a definite go too in Rome. Also a stop away it the Trevi Fountains.
Excellent aperativo place! Sunday evening- awesome live jazz, extensive cocktail menu. Great service & ambiance. Pretty busy, best to get here just before 7pm.
Loved the black truffle carbonara I got at Cybo. Haven’t seen flakes of truffle like that in years, and the portions were quite nice for Italian food. The crisped focaccia and pizza were also solid additionsThe vibe at this place was fantastic since they had a European DJ playing house music the whole time. Locked eyes and head-nodded with him a few times. He really made me feel welcome in Rome
We came here for food.We had the pasta with tomato sauce and an entree to share, salmon with sesame crackers.Pasta is not home made, but it was good enough. The waiter helped us pick a white wine, which we enjoyed. One of the waiters was helping with focaccias. He offer them to us about 3 times and twice for the table next to us. At one point he left one portion on the table and left, without saying anything, quite funny.
Everything we ordered was executed perfectly. We ordered tuna and sea bass, gorgeous. Service kind, polite and professional(Grazie Remo and all stuff). You dont ask for anything else. Thanks for the experience guys. It was a big surprise because in the first place we went just for the cocktails, which were very good to. Congratulations!
I’ve lived in Rome for over 14 years and every time someone asked me where to eat in Centro I’d black out because I had no answer to give them. After our fantastic lunch at Cybo, I found the answer! :))Very highly recommended indeed!Mimmo, one of the waiters, convinced us to give this place a try and for that I’m really grateful to him.Friendly staff and exciting options in the menu even for vegans ✨
We were here for a few Spritz during the afternoon. Our drinks were amazing and the service by Mimmo was just perfect! We had an amazing time and the spraying water kept us cool the whole time. Well definitely be back! ❤️❤️❤️
The best pasta that I have eaten in Rome - with fresh truffles. We also ordered aperol spritz for 6 euro and the price included bruschetta, so it was a great deal.
Accidentally stopped upon the place for lunch. Everyone working there was very very friendly and the food was good, but my favorite dish from the ones we had was the steak (Scotonna); it was very tender and flavorful.
Had the sea bass. It was lit on fire in a block of salt. Cooked to perfection. Really recommend this place. Good food and excellent service. Ibrahim was a terrific waiter.
Lovely place, great service and the pasta was amazing... Even got a concert from the street.
We had an excellent lunch time there. Good food, warm and friendly service especially by Edwardo who even asked for a Greek song for us to the street musicians that were playing by.
Tasty food and very well made pizza. Service was good, although we waited a long time to get the bill, but thats not an issue.Prices were OK for the area, the only problem was the toilets. They were very dirty. The rest of the restaurant felt cozy and modern and the stuff was very kind and funny!
Good quality food, classy restaurant just a street off the piazza navona. Not too expensive!
