brennNessel - Vegetarian restaurant in Haselbachtal, Germany
Cozy place with great food, be aware of portions, they are big!)
Take care: the portions are huge. Order everything small or half-portion. Half-portion is possible, even if not specified in the menu
One of those places that surprises you! At least that’s what happened with us. As we were going through the menu there was nothing, nothing that caught our attention. But after ordering and eating… oh God! Food directly from heaven! Highly recommended!
Very nice food, very tasty and big portions, interesting ingredients
Delicious meals, kind staff, cosy atmosphere.
Way too expensive. Barely speak German. Russian staff.
It was difficult to select my meal. The options were all tempting. My selection was even better than anticipated. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting. Many seating options for couples and small groups. The staff were very kind and knowledgeable. Their thoughtful questions about preferences and their explanations of the dishes in that context helped with our selections and very much added to the enjoyment of our meals.
The most beautiful place to eat! Lovely:)
Nice food, gluten-free options and gluten-free beer
Another five star goes to brennNessel, I like the place and loved the Brenneisen soup ( we make it in our hometown toothe food is tasty and I believe they make all by themselves including bread and pasta. A must place to visit in Dresden
Fantastic restaurant and worth the trip wherever you are in Dresden! There is a lovely courtyard in the back and they have plenty of sun cover. The ambiance is very nice. The food was fantastic! We had the Avocado/Erdbeer salad and the Gnocchi Süßkartoffeln Auflauf. Both were absolutely perfect and served very quick even though the restaurant was fairly busy (6:30pm). The waiter was super friendly and on point (very attentive and aware of his customers needs). The desserts were also delicious: Hausgemacht Pflaume Kuchen and vegan Schwartz Johannisbeere Eis.Eat Here!!!Especially if you have vegan and/or gluten free needs.
Excellent ,mainly vegetarian, food with large helpings .Very friendly service. Excellent value for money . Highly recommended
The food here was good but know that it takes a while - we had about an hour to catch our train and we ended up missing it. Outdoor seating area is very pleasant
Such a wonderful German vegetarian restaurant with fresh ingredients and quite big portions. The atmosphere was perfect and cozy.
Great option for gluten free, vegetarian and someone with food restrictions. The food was made to order instead of been warmed up. Great atmosphere and great service.
Ideal for lunch - delicious food and refreshing drinks! Also cute, small back yard to enjoy your meal outside with nice weather.
Delicious vegetarian pasta, nice and friendly staff and good drinks. All good!
The meal of the day was a delight. It was the perfect finish for a few days in Dresden. A must visit for people who adore food
First vegetarian restaurant experience and WOW what an amazing surprise! Friendly staff, amazing food, cute ambience, and great prices! When visiting Dresden, this place is a MUST!
fabulous everything, a great place for vegetarians, high quality all around, you must try the Chimäre de Saxe white wine, a local cuvée produced by a French vintner
We could go there even tho it was late and had a great vegetarian meal.Fabulous Staff and food!
This place offers a nice variety of unique food, which are mostly vegetarian or vegan. Pricing and portion are reasonable for each dish. Our food was eye appealing and the taste was excellent. The staff is friendly and communicate well in English.
This is one of a kind restaurant, with very unique dishes carefully prepared and very well delivered. The portions are big and the staff is friendly. The ingredients that they use are the secret, everything in the menu sounds interesting. Recommended
Very lovely place and the best vegetarian meal in town! Huge portions and a welcoming atmosphere
About the restaurant i would say Wonderful place to have a romantic dinner, friendly kind and helpful staff, calm area away from noises with a hidden garden to sit in.About the food: mouth-watering vegan and veggie cuisines and casseroles. Gebackener Schafskäse mit Knoblauch is highly recommended.
Little service minded people. No English menu, neither did they speek English. They did not serve the right drink and were not really friendly. Additionally we were not allowed to pay by card while other tables could. The only good thing was the food.
Nice lively place with awesome freshly cooked vegetarian food, wine and own craft beer😍
Wow! Never had a fresher salad, also nice curry and deli panna Cotta.. Thanks guys.
This a lovely place with loads of wonderful nooks and crannies where you can eat tasty and imaginative food and while away the hours. Close to so many things this is a definite favourite spot in Dresden
Best vegetarian restaurant I’ve been to so far. We were a party of four and every single meal was excellent. All three of us are not vegetarians but didn’t miss meat at all. The meals are made fresh to order so you might be waiting a minute or two longer than usual but it’s totally worth the time as they are not using a microwave or deep fryer. If all vegetarian meals were like that I could picture becoming a vegetarian. We even had vegan gnocchi dish which was phenomenal, with gnocchi that tasted homemade and an excellent vegan cream cheese.
Vegetarian place, with a large selection and generous portions.Lunchtime offers are very fair, normal menu is a bit expensive, but regarding the fact everything is supposed to be bio etc. I guess pretty much OK.They have a lovely garden.Service varies from person to person...pay attention that tap water is charged without warning
Delicious food with very big portions in a nice atmosphere. Every dish is super tasty and very special. You can eat a variety of healthy and well-thought-out meals here and you can find Vegan options of almost every dish. This is a place I would come back each time I’m in Dresden. A local-favourite restaurant that you should make a reservation for. But making reservations is super easy via their website.
great place with a noble and sustainable cause there a very cute court yard where you feel in nature, there is a lot of variety on the menu special vegan menu, but there are options for omnivorous great local beer and friendly staff
Delicious food and great service! The best pasta Ive ever had! Yuuuuuummmm!
Interesting tasty modem food with lots of meat-free options. A place to rest from all that typical Saxon cooking Café style with very mixed clientele. Good beer too. Very popular consider booking.
Super tasty vegetarian and vegan food. Please stress out to the waiters that you are having a vegan dish, as some of the menu items have two versions and it can lead to an uncomfortable situation for both (it happened to us :).
Really delicious food that exceeded expectations. Cozy place (but can be a bit loud at times), but the atmosphere is really nice and romantic. Prices were okay at the time of my visit, considering the quality of food!
Super tasty and healthy food! ☺️ Lovely homey interior.
Excellent for vegetarians.. good offer of appetizers and wine
This review is not based on the food.We walked from our hotel specifically to visit BrennNessel. On arrival, we were immediately told no reservation no entry! No options provided to wait until a table is available. Looking inside it was fairly empty. Disappointed by the initial response from here. Cannot comment on the food
Cute little spot, but terrible service. This vegetarian restuarant serves very good typical dishes, but you wont find anything too foodie" here. The bruschetta was delicious. The veggie curry was good. My pasta was rather dry and underwhelming. The gnocchi was the best dish of our group. The service was, in a word, awful. Unfriendly, slow and umwelcoming. For this reason alone, Id skip this spot unless you just cant find a veggie dish at any place else.
Good stuff. Really good. Great menu, friendly service. Dishes well out of the ordinary. You wont regret going there.
A very nice restaurant in Dresden. We always come here when we are in the neighborhood. Their menu is almost completely vegetarian and the dishes we had were really delicious. In the summer you can sit in their small courtyard, but if you want to be sure to sit their, it might be a good idea to make a reservation upfront.
The service was excellent and staff was very friendly. The selection of dishes were excellent, but they did tended to be too heavy for our liking.
Fantastic little cozy vegetarian place. As our hotel was nearby i was looking for something to eat and this place popped up with great reviews. I was not disappointed. The pasta dishes are a must, the fresh goat cheese is delicious and the stews taste just like my mums. I will make sure to go again.ps.: there are some dishes with meat if you want.
Best vegetarian Ive ever had. Cozy place, for dinner you would probably need a reservation. The red pepper soup is wonderful.
Awesome restaurant hiding in the city. Despite the description there is meat on the menu, so its perfect for non-vegs like me. Its better to have a reservation, it can be hard to get a table without it. It is perfect for a romantic dinner.
Nice and atmospheric spot, with a cute backyard, mostly visited by locals. The building where the restaurant is located is a historic half-timbered house, adding a special touch to the scenery. Its a little hidden away two backstreets behind the famous Zwinger sight. The restaurant has a great variety of mostly vegetarian dishes, some meat options and a really amazing vegan menu. Went there for dinner with a colleague two days in a row, and the second time the food was even more delicious than the previous evening. We also ordered a bottle of rosé vine which was probably the tastiest of its kind I ever drank: very fruity, but not too sweet, you could really taste the strawberries and it went well with the seasonal asparagus dishes. The waiters are very friendly and attentive.
Loved the food and perfect for vegans and vegetarians as well. They have special menus with only the vegan or vegetarian options on them so you dont have to search the entire regular menu.
We were pointed to this restaurant by our hotel, the Ibis Budget, and we would thoroughly recommend it. We specifically wanted vegetarian food. Pleasant service, wholesome food and great venue.
