The food is amazing! The portion sizes were bigger than I expected. The chorizo is one of the best Ive had.

Nice tapas place that we went as a team lunch. There is a nice lunch menu with some tasty options.

Great food, cod tacos were awesome. Service was quick. Needs a bigger selection of cocktails and beers.

Great service and tapas, with drinks and dessert paid £45 per head. Was a bit disappointed with the Sticky Toffee Pudding but overall was a great meal

Booked a table for 2 at 8.00 on a Friday evening. The table offered was not great (really high and right next to the bar/service area), we requested another table, this was also rather poor. At this point, I came close to suggesting we try an walk in somewhere else.The menu looked great, and the food was fine.Both first choice drinks were not available.The environment isn’t really date night friendly. Our table for 2, soon became what felt like a table for 4!Will look for another Tapas spot.

We hired Cellar 9 which is the private room within Baresca for a wedding reception. For anyone looking for a venue this is the place, the organisation with Hollie and her team both pre reception and during the night was exceptional.We greeted our guests with sangria and bottled beer and during the night floating tapas where served by the Baresca team. The room has space for a dance floor but also comfortable seating with booths and areas around the bar to sit and enjoy the excellent foodThe room has its own paid bar where the drinks are all reasonably priced ( which a change for private venues)Nothing was too much trouble for Hollie and her team, please give it a go you will not be disappointed.PS The chef will cater for all tastes including Vegan and vegetarians

We had the set menu as we were a party of eight. The food was delicious, a nice variety and plenty of it. Good service and a lovely cosy environment.

Gorgeous food with plenty of great vegan options and lots that can be made vegan! The Empenadas are sooo good and the sangria is lovely 😍 Staff are friendly and the service is always quick and efficient, really nice vibes, will definitely be recommending and returning here!

Really wont be returning, booked a table for 4 and was asked to wait whilst our table was ready. More people came in after us and were seated first and after about ten minutes my friend asked why it was taking so long as wed booked a table, we got seated about 5 minutes later further back of the restaurant (next to the toiletsand there was barely anyone there, so god knows why we werent seated straight away. Food was not good at all for the price, there was one chef on in the kitchen and clearly the microwave was doing all the work because our food clearly wasnt fresh. Ever overheat something in the microwave and it causes that dry bubbling around the edges where wet part of food has been blasted to oblivion? Yup, thats what we got. Not tasty at all and not fresh, we left most of it....plus we had the displeasure of paying about 50quid for it. Staff seemed miserable. Never again.

Had tapas for lunch, which was gppd for the price. Attentive and friendly staff. Docked two stars for including 10% tip on bill by default, optional or not. This isnt the US.

First visit here and had a lively lunch with the kids. We all had the menu of the day and were impressed with the selection and portion sizes

There for our 42nd wedding anniversary. Chose from main menu for that reason but have had lunch set menu on other occasions. Both are excellent. We cook a lot at home and are hard to please but Baresca never lets us down. Ros, who looked after us was amazing. Interested, attentive without being intrusive and the same with all the other diners.Looking forward to our next visit..

First time here and food was gorgeous.service briiliant.had lunch time offer and although did not look much, really filling. Good mix of customers and surprised how busy it was at lunch time.

Absolutely amazing staff, was served by Kerlana (sorry if I spelt it wrong)! Had a watermelon cooler and 2 vegan tapas. Good ambience.

If youre a foodie youll love it here- Superb food varying from doing only traditional Spanish tapas. Meat eaters dont discount the vegetarian dishes!! Excellent service too. Reasonable prices. Cant go wrong here!

Lovely tapas restaurant with a great value lunch menu - £15 for Catalan bread/olives to start, 2 tapas and a side.Portions are a lot bigger than I expected and very filling. Really enjoyed the cod tacos (you get two in a portion, but I ate one before taking the picture). Nice selection of sangrias aswell.Great service and lovely decor; I was really pleased with how nice the toilets were aswell.

I think this is a good place for a party/ large group, as you can order lots to share, and there are jugs of sangria to share. The food & drinks service was quite slow (we were visiting at 7:30 on a Saturday, so understandably peak time). Our tapas plates also arrived one by one, and as we were all starving we’d all pile into the one dish, and then have to wait for the next one to arrive. Subsequently there was no photo opportunity of all the food plates lined up on the table!Some of the food was really great (my family really loved the crispy beef, and the cod tacos were also excellentbut other dishes were very average, and the halloumi fritters turned out to be in a thick batter which ruined them somewhat. The churros for pudding were also quite overdone and very crispy, sadly, and not particularly sweet on their own.Having said that, they were very accommodating to my sister with egg allergies, proving her with vegan mayo etc, and they have an allergens menu which clearly lists the allergens within each dish. They were able to fit us in with a table fairly last minute at a peak time, which was appreciated.For 6 of us, the bill came to £250.

This use to be one of my favourite locations in Notts for food, but my last visit there were a couple of things that left it short. Overall the atmosphere and food is good. But we did find that a few of our pints were warm, some of the service was a bit slow and the prawns were lacking flavour. Make sure you have the olives though. And generally portion sizes are good, we got carried away and ordered a bit too much!

Really enjoyed this place! Fast service, tapas was delicious and well executed! The atmosphere and cleanliness of the restaurant was also very pleasing! Not to be missed and Ill definitely be coming back. ☺️☺️☺️

Always have a great time here. Food is amazing and never disappoints. Does annoy me sometimes when my favourite things have been taken off the menu but appreciate that the menu is refreshed and updated frequently (and all the new things soon become my favourites! But please bring back the cauliflower cheese 🤞).Must say on my mose recent visit the lady behind the bar didnt seem to enjoy her job and was a bit rude but still, one of my favourite places to eat in Nottingham.

Amazing food, lovely. Left feeling very full and food-satisfied. Good portion sizes for tapas, perfect range and selection. Staff friendly and great space to socialise. Found them very accommodating for a large group.

Service was a little slow to start with, but once we had ordered the food started to come out pretty quick. Picked this place after seeing them on happy cow, liked the look of the vegan options, and they really were very good, the pastry on the empanadillas was super light and crisp, and the churros were next level - we replaced chocolate sauce with vg ice cream and apple sauce, everything tasted great but those two really stood out for me. Shall definitely be returning!

Nottingham is a city packed with spectacular reasonably priced restaurants. Unfortunately the experience did not extend to last nights dinner.Priced at £9.50, you’d expect the fries to be warm and a number in excess to the fingers on your hands. No ketchup was provided and upon requesting Tabasco we were told it was unavailable. The egg was a normal fry up cooked with minimal effort and no seasoning whatsoever.The other fries we ordered were not even warm enough for the finely grated cheese on top to be melted over.Nonetheless, the fries were a companion to the other dishes we were looking forward to. However each time a deep-fried dish landed on our table, it was paired with the exact same supermarket mayonnaise. Truly disappointing.

Fusion Tapas bar in the centre of town. Had to wait slightly longer in between dishes as everything was cooked fresh. The Lamb Empanadillas were tasty and served piping hot. Problem was with the fish as I thought it was off. Waitress told me it would be taken of the bill so I ordered dessert. Then was told by the manager that the mackerel was pickled and that’s why it tasted that way. The fish stayed on the bill and also the dessert. Disappointed about the way this was handled. Bill I thought was high for 1 cover. Even if I took the fish and 1 tapa off the bill it would of still been £30. I don’t think this is value for money considering some of the portion sizes. Or maybe I just eat too much for 1 person ... :)

Such amazing food, and friendly service, went for the lunchtime deal, flatbread and dips and choice of two different tapas. Slightly worried about portion sizes, but we did not have to worry.

The food wasn’t particularly Spanish, but the beer was! Anyway, all was delicious and we had a good time.

A tasty tapas bar. Pretty much everything was good. I found the paella a bit soft like a risotto. I recommend the grilled bread with tomatoes.

One of our favourite places! Every time we go the food is just as good. Chicken wings are a must (Im not normal a fan of chicken on bone but these are good!Its in a sweet chilli mango style sauce and the skin is slightly crispy! You will love them. Also love the chorizo too. Flat breads are really good. Overall great Spanish tapas. Atmosphere really nice. The restaurant are quite boho chic and great place to go for a drink too. Location is little outside of main roads but close enough. Paid parking really close by too.

Good place for a casual meal out. Staff was attentive and friendly. Food was alright, the best dish was the Moroccan empanadillas and the worse was the meatballs. I would say it is on the expensive side considering the food and drinks we ordered. I didnt like that a 10% was added to the bill although you choose whether you pay for it or not.

Loved the food it was all amazing!So much to choose from on the menu, we could have ordered it all.Definitely could do with a few more gluten and lacto free options but they did swap the bread for their amazing olives which I was very happy with!!We went with the lunch offer. The ribs were the most amazing, just fell off the bone.The halloumi fritters were soooo good!My friend said the starter flat bread was lovely.The terriyaki beef empanadillas were sweet and tasty.The garlic & prawns didnt seem cooked and werent that tasty and I normally love prawns.The white wine Sangria cocktail we had was absolutely delicious!!The house white wine was very nice and the staff were all very helpful polite and friendly.Service was a little slow but we were taking our time so it wasnt as issue for us.Will certainly go back.

Had a good time.Ribs are very good and chicken wings are also great. Salmon as pictured is small but also good.Waiting staff are friendly but could work more on their table etiquette, not life-changing issues however.Would recommend.

The atmosphere is good, modern Spanish, laid back, and the staff is very attentive.The place is located on Byard Lane near the Lace Market Tram stop in the Nottingham city centre. Pleasant atmosphere, cosy surroundings with helpful and friendly staff. Some nice selections for food, some warming flavours and creamy textures, suitably tasty too. Nice place to relax and chat over dinner with a colourful cocktail or two.

Good tasty food freshly made. Friendly helpful staff.We usually go to Nottingham once a year and for the last few we have made a point of eating here. Consistently good food and experience. This year we took an Italian friend with us and she also enjoyed it.The fried things are light and crispy and I particularly enjoy the bady chorizo with honey glaze.
