Excellent Bar right on the beach and Very Close to the Cleopatra Superior Hotel. The Full English Breakfast is Highly recommended and not to be missed. The bar is run by a very friendly family who will cater for everything you could possibly want

Great bar, we enjoyed many a very COLD beer and cider here. My husband discovered that a corn beef toastie was his new favourite thing and my egg bun really was as good as it looked The couple that run this bar are friendly fun and (Paula tad cheeky. Each day we saw familiar faces that came back every day for a warm welcome great food and cold drinks

Excellent food at a good price and the view is spectacular. If you like a laugh & banter Paul and Carol are so funny with all customers. Best homemade burgers 👍

Delicious home made burgers and pizza, beer in ice cold glasses and nice espresso. A real beach bar with good vibes, good music and beautiful sea view.But the heart and soul of this place are the owners. They are super friendly with a good sense of humor and a lots of patience. This is our second vacation here with our kids and we love the place. See you next time!

A great place to grab a drink or snack and watch the world go by. The views are quite spectacular. Add that to friendly service and a great value menu and you cant go wrong.

It was OK. Not great though. There are lots of better beach bars a little further south. Depends on what youre looking for really.

Came here just to enjoy the sun on the lovely sunbeds. On the third day he told us that there are no sunbeds for us cuz we were bringing our own food to the beach the days before.I‘m cool with it but how should I know that I‘m not allowed to bring a snack when nobody told me so and there isn‘t a sign displaying it.I just wanted to enjoy the sun and paid 6 bucks for it (btw that’s cheap !.. didn’t knew that I had to eat burgers and sandwiches additionally.I‘m just not into burgers and sandwiches.It would have been polite to tell us before

Love it! The best breakfast in town, the sunbeds are a bargain and, if you have a sharp sense of humour, its a great place for a beer in the evening. Carol and Paul are great hosts, limitless though so leave your sensitivities in your hotel 😁

Paul and Carol are a very good reason why we come back time after time each year to Kardamena. Banana beach bar is a outstanding bar to visit when here for food/drink and their service is just quality!!!! Amazing couple and my kids class them as family…

We were here on Monday for the first time. Excellent and friendly service. Delicious burger.But three days later we had a unlikely visit. We drove all the way from Kefalos up to the banana beach bar to eat burger. My friend wanted to cool down in the sea before eating. Then he cut his foot on a rock and it was bleeding very bad. We asked the guys for help. The guy gave us tissues, but the lady asked us to go out, so we don‘t make their place dirty with the blood. She even said something like „you won’t die from that“. My friend felt very dizzy but they didn‘t want to help. Luckily the restaurant across the street offered us band-aid and helped us. They even told us how to get to the doctor, because the cut was very deep. Thankfully the doctor took care of him. So this bar makes great burgers, that‘s why they get 2 stars. But they really are not helpful.

Very rude and unwelcoming. Not a smile to be seen. We just asked for a Greek coffee and she replied “We’re English” and then gave us the “clear off” stare. Never asked where you’re from, love…just wanted a Greek coffee. So I guess you can’t get a Greek coffee here! Great little bar where the owners were very hospitable. Had a little bite to eat some beers and a coffee. Food was lovely and priced very favourably. Next time I’m in kardemena I will definitely come again.

Stayed at cleopatra superior in 2015 and the banana is on the front round the corner 1 min walk.prime spot on sea front owned by lovely people serving good food and drink.😎

Paul and Carol are great hosts and made our holiday special. The bar is out of the way of all the hustle and bustle. Perfect for a nice relaxing day on the beach. The breakfast is truly amazing. There is also a wide range of sandwiches, burgers, toasties etc. The beer is served in glasses straight out of the freezer. Perfect after you wander from the beach right next to the bar. A €6 charge for the hire of a couple of sunbeds with a nice parasol if the sun gets too much. This also includes the use of their toilet and shower facilities throughout the day. Best of all though they have a lovely little dog called Rocco who is a character you do not want to miss out on meeting. Great place, great food and beer, and some great banter with Paul.

Spent many a Morning/afternoon/evening at Banana Beach Bar. I enjoy a good breakfast and a chat, the welcome is always friendly, the view is nothing short of Spectacular! The beer is always cold, the glasses frozen! Carol and Paul are kardamenas prehistoric best. Two people who know everything there is to know about the island. If your new to Kos and need a few tips this place is recomended. Watch out for strange men in mankinis...

Lovely English food served here for those of you who tire of Greek. Proper full Eng brekky served by Paul and his wife who are both very nice people.

Carol and Paul superb hosts. Very friendly and very funny. Great prices on food and drinks. Food is amazing. Breakfast is a real treat. Their burgers are to die for. Great location with own stretch of beach where u can have a couple of sun beds and a parasol for €6. Bargain. Thanks to u both. See you again next year.

Extremely rude staff, we walked in looking for breakfast; we asked the lady who was cleaning if we could get breakfast here and she replied with a scouring look and a "if I must, I would prefer not".We walked out and never went back

Arrogant staff, poor food and pricey but poor quality drinks. However when cars are not speeding past the view of the sea is nice.

I am at banana beach, Paul & carol do everything they can to make your stay as welcome as possible, if u cant afford 6 Euro for a sunbed all day + toilets and friendly people then suggest u find somewhere else to get your freebies, your on holiday live a little....

Carol &Paul are very friendly. This place is situated near the end of town on the way to Mitzi Blue Dome. They have their own sun loungers at €6 a set per day. They have all the usual drinks available and also do bar meals. Their breakfast is quality and plenty of it for the money.

Owners are two friendly brits. Very chatty.Weve only eaten here for breakfast and lunch but each time the food was very tasty.Reasonable prices, and has its own stretch of beach with loungers for hire.

Really lovely friendly welcome place and would recommend it to anybody . And do the best English breakfast going for miles around

best mojito of the island, if you watch the pictures of the street view you will see something like a typical apocalyptic post-atomic landscape, something like a ghost town, because the pictures were probably taken in the winter, In summer the island awakes

Me and Holly and Ryan loved this bar wene we went it was run by Paul and his mother a lovely family . made us really welcome. Especially Paul with telling my Ryan a story about pirates cos my Ryan found the pirates leg on the beach one nite.(which was a stick)
