Badawiya Hotel is absolutely amazing. The complex has traditional domed rooms and suites featuring simple but elegant accommodation with private bathrooms. The best spot in the complex is the swimming pool with azure pristine water. The garden is also very beautifully lit at night and its a true pleasure to dine there. You can easily walk to the city center. After staying here, you will miss this place forever. It is the traditional style of the oasis and very authentic.

As for my stay it was ok compared to the price range and the level of hotels in the city. We cannot call the place a Hotel, its more of Guest House. While I was leaving I heard that, it is the best hotel in the city, really the city is very poor.Anyways, if your are going there dont have high expectations and take all what you may need for your daily use as the place lacks a lot of basics.

I went with my wife to stay 1-2 nights at this hotel, the reception man was very rude and said we will have to get two rooms to stay over there, as per the Egyptian law any couple that are of a foreign country do not require marriage certificate to get a room however he was rude and did not want to let us stay, we have stayed at another hotel and they have confirmed that we are allowed to get one single room without the need to show any marriage certificate, try another hotel as the staff are very rude and seem to be unhappy to have any guests.
