Beautiful dinning place made of teak, hence the name. Food was quite good, though a little on the pricy side.

German restaurant on Loy Kroh road. Very big menu with international and Thai dishes.

Stick to thai food. Schnitzel I ordered was very bad. Was replaced by spaghetti which was ok (just). Staff very friendly and (bigrestaurant is nicely decorated. Pity that the farang food is so bad.

way too expensive 1950 baht for a bottle of wine which I can buy for $10 in Australia, I accept it is imported but a 900% mark up is blatant extortion for a bottle of very mediocre wine, we felt like ordering a pizza but none of them came with anchovies (a very basic pizza ingredient so I offered to go out and buy some anchovies, the waiter told me this wouldnt be allowed, so we got up and left. I wonder why the place is empty. WAKE UP and sort your business out

Lovely interior, and the best khao sok Ive tasted. Location is ok, though you have to walk past several massage parlours to get there. However, service was slow and inefficient, and others have said the same.

Sehr gutes Essen. Sehr nettes Personal. Man sitzt sehr gemütlich. Wer Lust auf ein Paulaner oder Erdinger hat - hier bekommt er es. Der Besitzer ist ein Bayer- daher gibts auch etwas bayrische Küche. Ich hab mich (wenn ich schon hier binans Thai Essen gehalten. Rotes Curry - ein Gedicht ! 5 Sterne!

If the food matched the setting this restaraunt would be excellent. Sadly the food doesnt match the decor nor the very high prices. Steer clear, there are far better, cheaper options!

Went here as the building looked lovely.The prices were at least double all the other restaurants on the street, so we thought it would be great quality.The food was absolutely terrible. Actually the worst food Ive had so far in my 2 weeks in Thailand,When bringing this to the attention of the staff, they said its not their fault.So Im. Assuming they know the owner produces poor quality food.Very very dissapointed.

One of the best versions of Khao Soi I’ve had in Chiang Mai. Friendly, unobtrusive service and absolutely beautiful decor. This restaurant was recommended by the concierge at Le Meridian. I think he undersold it.

This place was amazing. The food was really good, the servers were very attentive, and the atmosphere was awesome. Such a beautiful restaurant. We went once for Thai food and once for German food. Both were authentic and some of the best weve had. We were skeptical about the German food (in Chiang Mai!but it ended up being really good. The owners late husband was German which explains why it is so authentic.

The place looks amazing and we chose it for our New Years dinner. The service could be much better, since the staff hardly understands English (which should be a must, its not a place for local people at all!). The quality of food is good, and the price is reasonable if considered that its a place for classy tourists only.

My partner and I had our first evening meal in Thailand here. When we got to the front it is a very beautiful restaurant.The lights, statues, craft that has gone into the woodwork, it is all very pretty.The food was good, yes.... Overpriced compared to other places, but you can have a romantic setting, without noise, without sitting on top of one another as the tables are spaced out and you can just relax and take your time with your meal.We had a wonder round the grounds afterwards and admired the miniature temples and monk statues.The service was good, but they lied about their card machine. They said that it wasnt working and that the bill needed to be paid in cash. I understand why they said this as they want a cash tip instead of the card payment.We were persistent that we were paying on card and left a cash tip.A 3 course meal for 2, plus 4 drinks and water came to 1270 baht (£28).

Leider war es heute nicht gut.Zuerst möchte ich ein Cordon bleu bestellen.. Haben sie leider heute nicht. Dann bestellen wir 2x Steak mit Pfeffer Souce Medium. Bekommen haben wir 2x Steak mit Blue chees souce. Und das Steak war sehr trocken durchgebraten.Zum Dessert wollte ich ein Schokoladen Mouse und gab es auch nicht.Ich empfehle dem owner die Karte zu tauschen.

Tolles Restaurant, untergrbracht in einer riesigen aus Teakholz gebauten Halle. Auch an heissen Tagen ein angenehmes Klima dank der offenen Bauweise. Reichhaltiges Angebot aneutopäischen und asiatischen Gerichten. Deutsche Spezialitäten wie verschiedene Haxen, die sehr gut sind. Angenehme Preise.
