antique Bar in Split

First a young staff seemed not to notice us at all but another server came to our table quickly and took our order. The drinks came quickly and the prices were reasonable. We paid 6€ with the credit card since we didn’t have any KR money with us anymore. We even had a nice chat with the same guy.

Very nice, quick and good looking service, tasty coffee and a beautiful view.The prices are a bit higher than in other bars but it’s very worth it.Would love to visit again :)

Best Tuna salad ever! It melts on your tongue.

Waiter not at all friendly to see haughty, who takes customers high while it is tourism that brings them money, very expensive for what it is and more disgusting. He even refused to divide the bill into three, even though nothing forbids it! There are plenty of bars around so go your way!!!!

Great place if you want to eat sushi, we took the mix platter, and every piece was great. Great service and ambiance. My recommendations :)

The worst service!! We wanted to have a quick drink, but the service was slow and not helpful at all. We had to ask for our drinks 3 times. They were not friendly. We saw a lot of people just walking off because they never got their drinks.Btw it wasn’t even crowded. We were sitting with 4 other tables and we were only 2.

Please listen to all the reviews! We read them and thought how bad could it really be, but the answer is absolutely terrible. The blonde female waiter is absolutely the rudest person we have ever met. Made dining here an awful experience

The "Antique Special Cocktail" was quite good

This place does not deserve even one star. The waiter didnt tell us about the limitations of paying by card. When we asked why he didnt inform us before about this quite important fact, he replied that his boss told him so in order to have more profits and to make people spend more money in cash. When I wanted to talk to the boss he wasnt even there. The bosss presumption is beyond imagination. Avoid this place!!!

We came by for a coffee and didn’t expect this visit to be such a disappointing experience. I wouldn’t say a thing if it was only for the waiter’s ignorant attitude. After we finished our drinks the waiter told us that our bill is too small to pay by card. Such things should be made clear before serving anything. When we were looking for an ATM, some of us stayed at the table. One of the waiters made it very clear that their boss explicitly told the stuff not to inform the clients about the cash only policy. What on Earth is this? Just avoid this place.

Be carerul! Waiter will not inform you about pretty important card payment limitations. We came here just for coffee and when we wanted to pay we were informed that we are allowed to pay by card only if we would spent more than 200HRK. That information should be mentioned before waiter took order from us. As it turned out personel of this place is ordered to hide this information by their boss to force payment in cash.

Worst experience that a tourist can have. They are thieves. Be carefull because they do not give catalogue to read the prices and they will charge extra fees for the side beverage. In addition, they ask for tips instead of leaving the client to decide if he wants to tip.

The fact that when you ask for vegetarian options and all the ingredients are on the menu, the waiter doesn’t have the decency to ask the chef make something out of it. The choices are very limited and could be so much more. Arrogance at its best. Please evolve with the times….

Very rude personal bad quality coffe

Rude waiters, I would say even meanbut reading the other visitors comments I see that it is not only me who suffered from this abuse half of the comments talk about this

Everything is perfect except a very unpleasant waitress with blonde hair, she’s very rude and looks at you as if it’s your fault that she has to work there. Also, prices are pretty high for the amount (quantityof food that you get but the food quality is good. Everything else is good it has a perfect location in centre with a nearby parking and very very delicious food.

The workers are absolutely rude, the iced coffee was disgusting! I absolutely do not recommend this place.

We experienced the worst service ever. The waiter casually tossed us ( threw it on the table1 card for two. He said - "for you girls", I will only add that there were 2 men. When we made the payment, this clown said we could pay in cash from HRK 500. Its pathetic. I advise against this place to everyone. If your waiter doesnt know how to behave after 1 am, maybe its worth considering who you hire. ( pictures)

The worst service I ever seen !! Especially in the restaurant we take a table to eating , the waiter brings us menus, takes the note of entrees and then informed us that the kitchen is closedWhen we explained him that’s it’s unfair to give us entrees without meals he replied so impolitelyI will never return to this place!

Had been told to come here by a local. When we arrived at around 11:30 pm we asked for a drinks menu but the waiter told us he was the menu and what did we want. After drinks were dropped we were informed that card was not taken, even though we saw another server allowing several other customers to pay by card? As we were paying for our first drink the waiter informed us that the tip was not included which we were fully aware of and would have/ did tip. Feeling disappointed.

You better not go to this bar if you’re not white. Terrible service served by a racist. If I can rate 0, I would.

Great service, staff and drinks selection, the location is awesome, and if you are shisha lover is good place for it, just ask about Gabriella, a shisha master with passion for the shisha.

The waiter really rude and the most expensive beer, 45 kunas each

Terrible slow service. Staff came in the middle of my iced coffee and asked can I pay and he mentioned that the service is not included. He didnt even ask how it taste or do we need anything else. Poor quality of coffee too. Will never come back.

The staff took good care of us - especially our waiter Ivan. He was very professionel and friendly. Definitely worth a visit👌🏾

Avoid this place! We only wanted to have a quick stop while Walking in Split but it turned out to be a really Bad experience. We were informed that there was no menu so a waiter told us what drinks were available. We asked to have some good local wine. The one we were given was very poor quality and didn’t match our preferences - a bit sweet instead of super dry. But the biggest surprise came with the check - prices here are a insane. Avoid this place!

It took them 15 minutes to take our order, half hour later, they still didnt served us...

Waitress didnt give the change. I would like to decide about tips by myself.

They do not accept cards, so If you don’t have cash in kunas, you will pay 3 times more. Wine’s price was 5 euro, i gave 50 euros and received the change 33 euros in kunas so I paid 17 euro instead of 5 euro. waiters were rude while negotiating this topic. I recommend avoiding this place!!!!!

The waiter was very rude to us for the simple fact that we didnt have cash. Yelling at us saying that you cant pay by card. His name is Bruno. I hope this comment will be useful for the future.

Please dont go to this place. The waiter was extremely rude. I ordered a gin and soda water first but he brought me tonic instead. He tried to pour soda water onto the g&t but I refused and asked him to bring me another gin.At the end, we asked if we can pay by card but he told us cash only. We asked for the bill but he just told us 280krn for 2 beers and 2 gins. We were naive and as we had just arrived at Split and we didnt know the prices. We scamed us big time. I went to look for the manager but people inside the bar refused to help

Been sitting for 20min, nobody came to serve us. Table that sat down after us was served. We got up and left.

sushi was good, but the avocado from the salad was unripe, just impossible to chew

Was refused a place in the restaurant inspite of it being half empty. First the waiters ignored me. I thn specifically asked to be seated. Was denied a seat. No reason given. Suspect it was racism.

Taking advantage of tourists and overcharged us. Refused card even though other customers were paying by card and gave us an incorrect bill (verbally), when we checked the prices the waiter made an excuse that he accidentally charged us for the wrong measurements and refunded us money, but it was still the incorrect amount. He was making it up off the top of his head

Waiter scammed us for drinks prices - made up prices of drinks when it came to the bill and only after making a fuss did he refund us some of the estimated price. We are a young couple only 22 and don’t ever review anywhere so this was particularly bad! Be careful as a tourist of waiters taking advantage of your lack of knowledge of currency and drinks prices!!

If youre looking for a place to get a drink and 1Kn looseys, then look no further. This place has everything: outdoor seating, house music, chairs, and 1Kn cigarettes. Five stars.

We were there for lunch and we had some sushi and drinks. It was good and tasty.. the waiter was not that motivated and friendly, that’s why we gave them 1 star less :)

The food was delicious but the waitress very rude and arrogant, was almost throwing plates on our table, and in the end was removing the dishes in a very rude and uncareful way spilling soy sause on my legs without paying attention or saying sorry. It is a pity because the food itself was very good

Good drinks, nice atmosphere but when people spend money at your place, do not ask them to leave. Especially when we only stayed for 30 min. We wont come back

The worst waiter ever I met. He ignored and kept us waiting for about 20 minutes in front of the door. When we ended up getting his attention, he said “The tables are full”. But there were at least 5 tables available though. Don’t expect too much things from the manager neither. After having listened to our complains, his reaction was like “So what!”. If you don’t want to ruin your trip, choose another one.

1,5 hour waiting for our first round of sushi.. i could order 2 times and our reservation was over.... The sushi was very good! but the waitress was terrible! Very unfriendly. Not only to me but to everyone i saw.. i dont understandy why she works at such a fancy place...

Nice place for coffee on the Riva to watch the water and people. Haven’t tried food or cocktails though.

we paid for a beer, 30 kuna. Only cash.Gave him 100 kuna, he said he’d be back with my change. 30 mins later he never came with our change.He walked past us, looking bored without any intention of returning the money.Let‘s be said, that was after I told him to only give me 60 back. So with 10 kn tip for one drink he couldn’t really complain, but still never returned the money.

The sushi was awesome! The best Ive had in a long time. Not many different nigiris but the rolls were fantastic. Very nice staff.

Coagulated cream in iced coffee, rude staff. Stopped off here for a quick drink by the harbour. The cream on both our iced coffees were coagulated (curdled). I showed the waiter and he rudely explained that this is normal and that we should eat it a with a spoon to get to the coffee, he also quicky took the money off the table and had no intention of resolving the issue. I didnt fancy eating lumpy cream and the iced coffee was ruined by all clumps, so we left. If this is normal then I would avoid cream on your iced coffee here, or ask for it on the side and put it in when the temperature difference is less to avoid coagulation (its really not hard is it).

Best place for relax and fun in Split. They have nice choice of spirits, coctails and wines so that anyone can find drink for themselves. Service is great.

Cool bar and the cocktails are great. Only downside is the service is soooo slow. 10 minutes to order a couple drinks and then waited 20 minutes for them to come out. Then had to hunt someone down to pay for the bill as every person that worked there disappeared. And this was during the afternoon when the bar was half empty..
