Stayed here for 2 nights. The place is clean and nice. Small room but enjoyable. Very minimalistic bathroom and toilet though.

Clean room. Toiletries and slippers are provided. Aircon and water heater are working well

Nice design and cozy muslim friendly hotel. The location is inside the Ximending shopping area, which is very convenient and accessible.Chiba, the hotel restaurant also serve halal food. The restaurant decoration is very antique and unique.

Stayed here for 7 days self-health management.Located in Ximending, so its very easy to go shopping.The rooms are quiet and soundproof so I had a good sleep.Staffs are very friendly and helpful.They can serve halal food for you when you happen to stay here or just wanting to eat at the Restaurant.Big thanks to Rachel from Restaurant area to help me throughout this stay.

My mandarin is not good, but the staff (Waynehere was able to help me complete my self moderation stay in English! My card was not working due to being in a new country, and reception made me feel safe and comfortable- they didn’t make me feel embarrassed or like I was wasting their time, which I’m so thankful for.The rooms are clean with a great view! The hotel restaurants on the 5th and bottom floor are take out only (with COVID restrictions), but still delicious!Though this area is busy and can be noisy, being in the rooms were quiet and I slept like a baby!

Cozy, muslim friendly, kids friendly, excellent service.. All the staff was so nice and kind..Muslim friendly: they provide a prayer mat, qibla direction, quran, pray scedule and kind of tea pot for manual water bidet 😂👌), they also provide a halal food for breakfast..The chicken curry was deicious (the dinner menu), chicken rice noodle a bit plain 🙏🏽, but okay..overall I really enjoy the breakfast, the variety and the taste was good!Clean room, the amenities so cute (they gave toothbrush, toothpaste and sandal for kids too 😍👍)Recommended!!!

I am residing in todays night. The location is good, the dinner was delicious, the room was clean, tidy, well managed. Staffs were professional sound. The price range is justified. Recommended 👍

Actually I stayed here many years ago, but just got the chance to write a review :DIt was a trendy hotel with a great location. Its decorate very nicely and super artistic. The staff were friendly and I remember the breakfast was great! I came here as a business traveler but I imagine its actually great for a vacation as well. Too bad I dont think I got the chance to enjoy everything they had to offer as it was a short business trip and packed with activities.

I thought this hotel was 3-star, but now I see its 4-star.OH.Its a shame that theres no bathtub in the bathroom, but I remember the staff being very kind.The disadvantage is that the busy street is in the middle, so it is a complicated position to drag the carrier.I probably stayed here about five years ago.See ya if we have a chance.:)

The staff were very friendly and helped to bring in our luggages from the roadside. We were surprised when the front desk greeted us by name the moment we stepped in.The room is bright and clean. Shower and toilet are separated. Ample hangers to hang our jackets and clothes. Washing machines and dryers are free to use, detergent and softener provided.About 8 to 10 minutes walk, depending on walking speed, to Ximending mrt exit 6.Overall hotel ambience and staff are nice.

Location is awesome - very close to restaurants, shopping etc. All the staff were very friendly and the rooms were clean & spacious. The soundproofing is not great - we could hear people in the room next door and above us.

My number 1 night market in Taipei. If you only have time for one night market visit this one. With pork buns, sausages on sticks, excellent drinks and even stinky tofu. Don’t get stressed just go with the flow since it can be very crowed!

Perfect location right in the middle of Ximending!!! Love the industrial chic design of this boutique hotel, and the details — omg — they are so pleasing to the eye and to my taste! The breakfast buffet at Chiba restaurant was great too, and the drink selections 💯 The room I stayed in was nothing short of awesome. Services are 💯 Will definitely book my stay here when I come back! Thank you for the wonderful 3 nights!

Good location. Centre of downtown in Taipei. Lots of lots of restaurants and shops around this hotel. Even the shopping mall is in the same building.You can find a Starbucks on this building ground floor. Movie theatre is across this hotel.Still the hotel suggest you comfy and calm place to take a rest. Bed and linen is clean. Staffs are kind.However, it needs to set the more staffs in the front desk. It took lots of times to check-in and check-out because the lack of staffs. But those staffs are very kind and helpful. When you need taxi, then they bring you to take the taxi.

Strategic location, in the middle of Ximending. Walkable distance to explore the entire Ximending, for you to eat shop see. About 10 minutes walk to the nearest MRT station, and from there, u can get to anywhere u want. Nice spacious room with comfortable bed. Shower hot and nice. Extremely clean. Very nice and polite staff. Breakfast was amazing and they serve Taiwanese food for u to try. Overall a very pleasant stay, strongly recommended. Oh yeah, just one thing, toilet is separated from bathroom and toilet has no bidet spray. Haha

Nice and good location.Staff is polite and speak English very well.The rooms are small but clean.Its a bit odd that you brush your teeth nearby the bed, because the sink is placed in the bedroom. The show is really spacious

Great location and there are laundry machines you can wash your clothes for free!! It was 6 floor. Also nice room condition.

This is a super convenient hotel with very chic and youth oriented vibe. The team is very professional and helpful. Definitely will stay here again. I will miss the extra large twin king beds.

Located at a good spot inside ximending. The design of the room is simple and imaginative, the sink is open-plan, and it is more convenient for the two to use the bathroom. The wardrobe is also open plan, making full use of the room space. Comfy bed and pillows made me good sleep. Would recommend to those who would like to stay at the city centre / inside Ximending

The only thing impressive was the fast check in and checkout. Everything in between was a disappointment. The walls are paper thin so you can here the next rooms conversation all night, speaking of rooms... there tiny and I was travelling solo, I can’t imagine how tight the squeeze would be if your on holidays as a couple. The breakfast was very average as well. Overall I wouldn’t recommend this type of hotel to anyone use to western style accommodation. Definitely one for the locals or young people staying for a few nights from the neighbouring countries.

Its our second stay at the hotel.Wonderful interior and design.Spacious room.Breakfast has good spread of eastern and western cuisine, including local Taiwanese food. Taste good too!We will stay here again.Why is it not 5 stars?Because the first floor lobby is located near a smoking area and its not pleasant for non smokers like me while walking back to the hotel and waiting for lift. But all is good once u enter the hotel. Another reason is its located abit far from the train station.

Love this place. Most of the shop open on 11 oclock and close at very late night. There are some good hotel on upper floor of some building. Many food restaurant and plenty of pearl milk tea.

Stayed at Anba hotel for a wk. Location is good. Excellent service, house keeping was tip top. They even serve halal bfast on request even at the last minute. I left my jacket after we checkout and the hotel email us asap. A big thank u to all Anba staff. We enjoyed our stay there n will come back to Anba hotel Ximending anytime soon.

Booked the medium king room, and we enjoyed the stay. The rooms are clean, with a super duper big bed (I am not sure what size, but it is just huge). The toilet bowl is just like Japan, if you know what I mean. We will definitely be back the next time. 😉

Nice comfortable hotel with excellent service staff. They have rooms that can accommodate bigger groups. Very popular, and should be reserved in advanced. We did not take the breakfast option as there are many food options around Xi Men Ding.

Clean, comfortable and spacious family loft room with sufficient space for all. Good spread of breakfast with separate food arrangement for Muslim guests. Service staff is attentive to guests needs. Plus it is in the heart of Ximending shopping district. Value for money. Highly recommended for all travellers.

Stayed there for 2 nights. Room was surprisingly spacious for a hotel located right smack at the heart of XiMenDing. Breakfast was provided, though the quality was not the best. All in all a very confortable and unique experience

The room is clean & tidy, not too small. There is a laundry with washing powder on 6/F which is free to use! And each floor has water tap to refill your water bottle.Hotel staff is very nice & helpful; actually it’s a non-smoking hotel, however we can smell the smoke along the corridor on the way to our room. So we told the reception and they changed another floor to us! Really nice!Location is good which just takes 5min walk to the metro station.

nice place to stay, not as noisy as other hotel, nice modern decorations, room better than expected. they use 薑心比心 as peraonal hygiene items. room is clean , not smoky smell. staffs are friendly, and helpful at reception.

Great stay and amazing service. Their breakfast include a fair variety of choices and location is convenient. The hotel also provided charter services to the airport.Hotel rooms are new and clean.

Located in the prime area of Ximending. It has a departmental store within the building and lots of food area around. I got the smart room. Shower was a bit inconvenient as the basin is outside of the toilet and I had no place to put my spectacles. Hook area was not sufficient to hang clothes. Movable TV was blocking 1/4 of the bed risking bumping my head each time I get off bed.

The room was spacious and clean and the hotel is located in a very cool part of town. Breakfast was also a decent value at 11 USD. Easily recommend this place.

Tried this hotel as it was carrying my first name for the fun of it. Its a simple boutique hotel. Basic services to spend a night or 2. The hotel gives a good district map which is reasonably accurate and you can see around places. Lots of street foods nearby. Not directly near Taipei station.

Huge room for the price paid. Great location right in the heart of Ximending tourist area though its hard to find the front desk since its not on the ground floor. The room layout is a bit strange with the placement of the toilet, shower, sink and sofa "bed."The toilet and shower stalls are separate and the sink is out in the middle of the room. The shower and toilet stalls have frosted glass doors so you dont have quite enough privacy. There is plenty of room in the shower stall to change, but you might end up with wet clothes.The sitting area was quite nice especially since my room has two televisions. But I found it odd that the sofa doubles as a single bed and the bed sheets and were already laid out. As a result, I had to remove the bed sheets, pillow and mattress to watch television.The room might have been better if it had a pull out sofa bed or a second double bed.

Cool place with a great location. They had some live music on the weekend in the bar area. Cocktails at the bar were pricey and the choices were basic compared to how they brand it as a laboratory. Rooms were spacious and clean. WiFi was fine and AC was good.

The Hotel was very nice. The staff were accommodating and helpful. The king size bed was actually bigger than the kings I am used to which was really nice. Definitely recommend

Just came back after a 4 nights stay at amba. Good location, clean room and friendly staffs. What earn the 5 stars was they entertain request like small baby bath tub, allow me to pay using my big bag of left over coins, play tent for the kids. Small little gestures make experience very unique. Will surely stay there again.

Cute, boutique hotel in the heart of Ximending. Affordable, large, clean rooms. Not luxurious but has all the basics of comfort (kind of like staying in an Ikeaminus heat, if youre into that sort of thing. (actually can get a space heater from front desk, on 5th floor, if you need). Highly recommend!

A big spacious industrialist style hotel located in the heart of ximending. Hotel lobby is not on the ground floor, you got to push your luggage to the side of the building to take a lift up to its lobby. Room is huge, almost the size of a studio apartment. Breakfast spread is very good. Staff are friendly and approachable. Free flip flop for you to take home.

1 star for an average of overall points.price - expensive, should be cheaper for an advance booking or during off-peak season. for room condition, breakfast(630-1030 ), facilities(free washing machine + detergent+softener, ice maker+filtered water for drinking), and conveniences.location - actually sounds quite opposite. there appeared to be nothing to do when xi men walking street just a few steps away. this is actually a neighbour for cheap clothes shopping. ,room - i hate a room without windows or ventilations. and dont understand why private water cubical must installed a see-through glass door. toilet and shower are separated, comfy toilet bowl.services - the managing employees are seriously in need of extra hotel and management trainings. some female non-executive employees are simply fantastic. there were 2 mistakes occurred. watch out every bills and reservations payment. read through carefully.facilities - washing machine and ice - maker ... bring microwave.never for the second.no bicycle. no umbrella, no vending machine.

Superb service. Very large Loft Room with 4 beds. Separate bath and toilet. 2 TVs. Free self service laundry facility. Amba Ximending is located in the middle of the trend setting district of Ximending with amenities at its doorstep. Starbucks just downstairs.

Conveniently located in Ximending. Clean, modern, and spacious hotel room. Separated washroom, sink, and shower areas in the room. Friendly and helpful staff. Ginger shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and body lotion all smell sooooo good!

Spent $1500 HKD for the loft twin bedroom so that it will fit my family of four, with 2 single beds and 2 sofas. Room was huge (~400 sq ft.and location was excellent (XMDbut that was pretty much it. Firstly, no working desk and chair for such a huge room. Cant quite fully utilise the room. TV was SONY Bravia but a very small one, esp for such a big room. Shower and lighting were the worst. The shower was separated from the toilet and it was poorly designed. There are nothing separates the shower area and where you put your clothes. Everything will get wet and you probably have to strip naked before you walk into the shower. The central lighting is poorly designed, as you could not turn off lights one by one through central lighting system. Once you turn off one, all are off. Overall its a roomy room but poorly designed. The designer has never attempted to even think of the human ecology factors. I am very disappointed and will not be back, esp its not cheap. Dont ever book the loft twin for three to four people!Last but certainly not the least, the boiling kettle (Oscarwas broken. I asked for a new one, still wont work properly. Awful!

The place is new, clean and location is convenience (around 10 mins to Train Station on foot), the service is average, breakfast is not free, you have to pay, breakfast buffet is not many choices, luckily the taste is good.One pair of sandals from hotel is free per person, additional sandals need to buy from Reception.

Clean and nicely designed with unique decorations. Rooms are large but some have better views than others. The breakfast has many Western and Asian options. The location is right in the heart of Ximending (plenty of places for eating and shoppingand within easy walking distance to a metro stop and some sights.

In Feb for a work trip, I got to stay at the spacious hotel room with balcony. The room has good noise cancellation from the outside traffic and I was well rested. Free Wi-fi signal was stable and good for my work video conference.Great location and only ~5 mins walk to the Ximending station. Simple breakfast buffet and I dined there for 5 days in a row while felt like I still had good selections to choose from. I like their made fresh sticky rice roll!

Worst dining experience ever! I ordered the full BBQ pork ribs today for dinner, not to mention that it took a while even though I was the first few customers that got there, the ribs were COLD inside when it was served. I mean the least to expect at a restaurant is to have the food served hot right....and the lady at the cashier counter probably didnt have a good day today, I couldnt see a single smile on her during the entire time she was helping us with the bill. Ive been to this restaurant before and enjoyed to dine here hence the reason of coming back again today for dinner, but it was truly a shocking dining experience that I had tonight and will not visit here again.

brilliant place to stay i reckon, in terms of the price. rooms are tidy with simple design, makes u feel like home. Amba is hiding 2,3 streets behind the busy ximending, easily accessible and the decor of the dining area is cool, breakfast was pretty good as i rarely got motivated to wake up so early for hotel breakfast, even it came for free. Highly recommended !!
