Huge portion of delicious, lightly breaded & perfectly cooked, pork schnitzel. Unlike the Fredericksburg German restaurants that give you a “huge” schnitzel with thick breading and a razor-thin piece of meat!😡 Spaetzle and the purple cabbage were great too! Thank you!

Very good food and employees. Cucumber salad is a must as one of your sides. Great decor and spacious restaurant. Place gets busy so have some patience good food isnt cooked in 5 minutes! Gruß aus Bayern!!

This is my favorite German place in town and theyre so homely every visit. They give huge portions and it all tastes so good! Originally came here for my first date with my girlfriend 5 years ago and we keep coming back!

SO DELICIOUS!! I havent had German food in 6 years since my grandma died. Lately Ive been craving my German favorites and decided to order from here. This food was so good, me and my husband didnt talk for about 15 minutes while we were chowing down on this food. Where to start with the food... First, the portions are huge! My schnitzel was the size of a dinner plate and perfectly fried to a golden brown crispness. I had the red cabbage as a side, it was light and cooked with apple cider vinegar just like my grandma used to make hers. Everything was delicious, will definitely be coming back and bringing my family to enjoy! Eating here brought back memories of being home!

The Jägerschnitzel (breaded pork steak with mushroom gravywas awesome. Wonderfully large portions. I could only finish 1/2 of it and i usually finish it all (at other restaurantsAuthentic Spätzle. Both the cook and server were delightful. Reasonable prices ($15). If you like mushroom flavor but not the mushrooms, they offer the option of ordering it with just the mushroom (browngravy. It was also pretty cool to see all the volksmarch medals they have displayed on the wall.

You’re really missing out on this Mandarin Cake 🍰 at Zum Edelweiss!!! 😩 It’s honestly so refreshing and delicious amalgamation of refreshing savorous mandarin oranges on top of this delicious cake. Definitely worth it!!

Took the family for take-out here. It was found accidentally but they loved the food. My daughter said her bratwurst was great and my son had "Gipsy" snitzel I believe. He also loved it.

My family loves it here! The salads are to die for. The schnitzel is huge! Best of all, the staff is SUPER friendly and make you feel right at home, right down to letting my husband practice his German and offering to make my kids Spezi to drink, which they would never have even known existed otherwise! This place is definitely on our “frequently visited” list!

Service was good,, but very slow,, atmosphere is rugged, comfort is lacking as chairs are dated and tables wobbly. Price is fair for the portion, but quality is lacking. My pork was dry and not very flavorful, free bread was cold and dry, my wife was pretty disgusted by every course...she is a bit pickier than I, but still was not the greatest German dining experience im sorry to say.

Our party of four was seated quickly. Our waitress was solo, and for our casual dinner with family it was a perfectly fine wait time. If youre in a hurry this may not be the place for you. I personally dont care if it took a while for everything, because the food was so good.

Bring your appetite, because the portions are huge! The schnitzel was the size of my head, and they did not skimp on the side dishes, either. I had enough left over for lunch the next day. It was all delicious, and the wait staff was friendly and helpful. Ill definitely be going back.

Staff was great andcakes huge. I had the hazelnut mmmmm. Dinner was sampler plate with half schnitzel. Knockwurst and brat with saurkraut and potato salad. Good price and will come back.
