Amazing food. Accommodating to our dietary needs. Couldnt recommend them high enough.

Delicious food. The only one thing to be improved is the size, too small. They also have good dessert. Talking about taste, never disappointed. But the size, need a bid bigger.

Had a really good pizza and my wife raved about the mushroom and leak soup. The young waitstaff were courteous to a couple of oldies. Good experience

Pizza vas very avarage, as well as service. Shame that things deteriorated here so bad.

Great location near central city, awesome set up inside with multiple spaces to dine in. Beautiful pizza, though a bit pricier than expected which kept me from giving it 5 stars. I havent tried their pasta but it looked delicious on the plates that went to other tables. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Definitely worth a visit.

Beaut meal. We all loved it. We were upstairs and it got to hot for us all, some air flow would be nice. Definitely will be going back.

I ordered take-out as I was staying around the corner at the Scenic Hotel Southern Cross. When I went to pick up the pizza I was very impressed with the beautful warm and inviting restaurant design and decor and I wished I was sitting down there to eat my food. The pizza was ready at the time they specified. I had one of the gourmet pizzas - chicken, caramelised onion, blue cheese, mozzarella and rosemary. It was divine! The rest of their food looked amazing. Will gave to go back there when Im next in Dunedin.

Our favorite pizza restaurant. Delicious every time. Good selection. Very nice desserts too. It is up for sale at present. I hope the new owners dont change the menu or atmosphere.

Just had one of the worst dinner experiences i have ever had in my 28 years in New Zealand. The mains were fine. No issues there but then we ordered a Tiramisu dessert. It was salty and we told the waitress who apologised and took it back and said she would take it off our tab. She asked us if we wanted something else and we ordered an apple cake which was ok.However, when we went to pay, the manager (owner ? had added on the tiramisu to the bill as a cash transaction and rudely told us it was not his fault that we could not appriciate his original recipe and that we needed to pay. When i told him that i had eaten plenty of italian food all over the world, including if i may add in Italy , and had never had a salty tiramisu his partner (wife ? joins in and starts telling me that i had insulted her by not appriciating her original recipe, and someone coming to Aotearoa and making out the food was bad and that people did not recognise how bad covid had been for the restauranteurs and what a bad day she had had. As if all that was ok to insult someone who had come to dine in your restaurant.I am sorry to say that if that is your attitude, nothing will help you. The way you handled the situation was very poor and the way you spoke to me bordered on racism. If you had a rough time during covid, tough , but so did 90% of the world.I am sorry to say that your tiramisu was just not to any acceptable standard and your attitude was worse.Not someplace i would recommend unless you like being served a salty dessert and then being insulted.

We had the gnocchi and the carbonara and both were cooked perfectly. Very filling too as we couldnt finish our plates! Customer service was excellent and great atmosphere.

Cant fault it. One of my favourite places to go. You just walk into warmth and an amazing smell of yeast and garlic. The pizza and pasta choices are all good whatever you choose..

We went to this place for a work dinner and found the food to be extremely delicious. (Beef cheek Gnocchi + desserts for meNice warm atmosphere and quick service. Highly recommend.

I ordered the Margherita pizza, pumpkin soup and mint chocolate cheesecake takeaway and everything was amazing. Friendly staff member who took my order too. Will be returning next time I am here for work

Great pizzas. Can have half & half flavours on Regular size pizza. Small sweets available if you cant manage a full dessert.

Fabulous food friendly staff and excellent service great atmosphere. Dont pass a chance to have a meal here.

Great pizza and pasta restaurant. BYO for wines. The beer and wines there are pricey. For your own bottle of wine too they charge $7 corkage.Food portions are OK. Not large. But the food is good, and the service is fantastic.

Best pasta Ive ever had. Great desserts, and the customer service is incredible. Lovely staff, they are very helpful and friendly.

The ambience and vibes set me up for an exhilarating eating experience. This peak was soon to come crashing down at an exponential rate. I ultimately left angry. The eating experience was like a pointless Monday meeting, extremely average and disappointing. I practically paid for the meal with the soul of my first born child. Like a one night stand slightly underwhelming but does the job.

One of my favourite spots in Dunedin! The food and drinks are always delicious and the staff are so lovely. Tonight I was very clumsy and spilled my drink that was still half full everywhere, but they were so kind about it and even made me another one and only charged me for one drink 🥺 Cannot recommend enough!

Very well done food and amazing service. Especially one named Art who prepared the pizza for my family. Exquisite.

A very busy restaurant that is obviously popular with the locals. Good standard Italian fare and excellent service. We were a little disappointed when the table that had been promised to us was given to another couple who arrived later as we waited. No reason was given.

Amazing food, amazing service, amazing everything. Only reason not full 5 start is because when dinning in the back room when busy it can be very noisy but other wise I love this place

Came for the amazing cabonara dish and had to take another dish as takeaway! So cosy!

We have supported this Restaurant many times but tonight was a low point.We were greeted by a fairly unfriendly team member that first asked “ Have you got a reservation ?” Im thinking it’s a Wednesday and you dont look very busy. We explained we didn’t have a booking.We were told to wait, eventually we were shown to a table. After waiting some time to be served I asked a passing waitress if she could take our order. She said “I don’t have an order pad”. She looked at me and said “ Oh ah I suppose I could still take your order”. We placed our order along with an order for a bottle of wine, she starred at me and said “ Is that all“ !! I responded it was.Sometime later the happy waitress returned to advise “we can’t buy that wine anymore”. I’m thinking then why don’t you remove it from the wine list. We ordered another bottle of wine.Another team member appeared later with a bottle of wine saying - “ Is this for you ? “The same waitress returned with two meals, she went to four different tables asking them if the meals were theirs before she found the right table !!The food was hot, but really we struggled to find any chicken in the chicken pasta and my partner spied about 4 tiny mussels in her mussel pasta.We eventually went to pay for our meals, there was no one at the counter but eventually one of the two bar staff came over to serve me. He was friendly but never bothered to ask if we had enjoyed our meal - a shame as I would have willingly shared our experience.I seldom take the time to review restaurants but our experience was so disappointing I felt compelled to share in the hope others don’t waste their time visiting this restaurant and perhaps the owners care enough to train their staff to improve the experience for all their customers.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at zucchini bros, the restaurant is beautiful inside, awesome service and great menu. Unfortunately the gnocchi I ordered was quite firm and gummy, but the sauce on it was delicious.

We had a caramelized onion and rosemary bread starter. We ordered 4 meals, all pasta. They were all very tasty, I think one was prawns in a lemon sauce, there was a pumpkin/chicken with tomato sauce, a ravioli and a carbonara. The staff were very attentive and friendly.

Went there last night ordered the large pizza and a chilli mint pasta. It was really tasty and full of flavour. Definatly would recommend although the service team was alittle slow, the food made up for the little error. Delish !!!

BEAUTIFUL building, great rustic design mixed with modern features- this creates a nice moody atmosphere. The tiered levels is also a unique and memorable touch.Food was delicious and prompt- I ordered a regular sized number 11 pizza and it was a great and filling portion size. $22 normally, which is a bargain, but mine was $26 as Im gluten free. The pizza was very tasty, cooked in a real pizza oven, and super hot- just perfect.My boyfriend and I loved it! Would definitely recommend!

Fantastic food. And the atmosphere in the building is gorgeous. We have great wait staff and our drinks and meals came out quickly. Very very happy!!

Have wanted to try here after hearing so many great reviews. Certainly agree with all the hype. Loved it and would be back. Eat alot of pizza and this was up there with the best !

I enjoyed my experience at Zucchini Bros. I had pizza which was well made and had good flavour, my family enjoyed their meals also. Friendly atmosphere, we would definitely come back.

Is a really good go to Italian place. Been here 3 times now and had pasta. Has been great all 3. Really hard to find restaraunts in NZ at this mid price range to get consistently good food, so happy to have found it.

Definitely have to try their pizza! Skip the carbonara.. Quite a number of interesting choices of beer.

Went here with a group of people for a social gathering. I thought the service was good staff were friendly and helpful and the building is nice although we were only in the main area. The food was really good I had a chicken cramberry pizza and others had a mix of other pizza and pasta meals. Everyone left full and pleased with there meal. Would come back again.

Asked the waiter what he recommended, we did the artichoke gourmet pizza. It was the best Ive had! The service was great and the profiteroles were even better!

Hands down one of the best pizzas Ive ever had. The base was really soft but did not bend when picking up (regular size). Taste was out of this world. This restaurant is a must do in Dunedin.We had the following:- half and half pizzas of no. 9 & 14- 3 chilli pasta (also really good)- rosemary bread- lemon and ginger tea

This place was amazing! Great service great pizza! Best pasta I have had in a long time. Ok for kids they will change menu to suit your needs. However the other type of people who are in here may not like them unless they sit still.

Really friendly staff and good specials. The pizza bases were really thin and crispy while having a good amount of toppings without smothering the base. Could have a better selection of ciders and other not beer or wine options. Priced reasonably for a semiformal family dinner.

Absolutely top quality customer service. Interior has a really nice atmosphere. Loved the Pizzas; vastly superior to anything youd get from takeaways. Id definitely recommend this to anyone looking for either a quite bite to eat, or an evening out for dinner.

Fairly disappointing fare, overall, given how promising this place looks. The interior is nice and warm, and the name suggests a quirky charm.However, it didnt deliver. The garlic bread we got was barely worthy of a country town pub, and I found myself examining the pizza closely to see if it hadnt been bought from Countdown and merely warmed up here. Certainly not the authentic Italian meal one would expect for the price.Zucchini Bros isnt awful, and youll go away full, but you can do better for cheaper if youre looking for food near the Octagon.

Fantastic pizza with amazing gluten free base. Zucchini Bros is a unique and stylish multi-floor restaurant. The staff were friendly, fun and knowledgeable. We had a great time and will definitely go again on our next trip to Dunedin.
