Nice location and really good food. We had to wait a little, but we enjoyed our lunch!

Great place for vegetarians.The waiter was also very kind and the food was great.I had gordon blue seitan.

Great gluten free organic restaurant!! Friendly helpful servers and yummy healthy food! Pesto on the gluten free bread and swish chard soup and falafel was awesome!! Fresh OJ and green magma drink was also great! Loved it so much that we went there twice within several days.

Oh my goodness me!!! How can a vegan restaurant get it so wrong???? I have never had such bad food in a restaurant in all my life. The food looks good in the pictures.....tastes awful!3 if us had 2 starters, and 3 different mains. 1 starter was good (dips), the other starter was a stack of raw unseasoned uncooked carrot and courgette sticks, with a rich and unpleasant tahini dip. Nothing else. Nothing to make the vegetables interesting. Nothing!!!! Honestly, I was shocked at how bad it was presented and how basic it was.Main meal....tofu, seitan, tempeh in BBQ sauce, sweet potatoes, cabbage. The BBQ sauce was ok. All the potatoes and vegetables were cold!!!! I didnt order salad....I ordered hot food! The potatoes had no sauce, no seasoning.....just cut into rounds and boiled in water!!!My daughter and her boyfriend did not like their food either, and could not eat it.Most of the staff were lovely. 1 of the staff when we went to pay, she was extremely rude to my daughter.I was so hungry when I arrived...I barely ate my food, and I left feeling sick. We all felt unwell after leaving...and heavy on the stomach!Worst vegan food I ever tried to eat.

I was really excited to visit but the experience was disappointing. All the main meals were really oily and greasy. The seasonal veg was just cold boiled cabbage with no salt and pepper. One of the starters was just raw carrot sticks and dip:( the price was not justified for the food we got unfortunately.

Excellent food but very sullen waitress. When it came to dessert she informed us the kitchen was closed even though she had just put a dessert down on the next table. Shame, because it spoiled the experience

One of the prettiest locations Ive seen in a while. The variety and taste of the food (all bio and vegan!was unique and the women working there were very friendly. A very very big recommendation for this great place!

As a vegan, bravo! Interesting and satisfying food. Even my skeptical friend loved the gomoku. My only suggestion is to make the lemon tofu cake creamier. 💛 I felt like I was eating a block of sweet tofu.

I wish we had this restaurant in my hometown! It’s the dream. Everything is vegan and amazingly tasty. The staff is really friendly and the garden looks very nice as well.

To be honest i expected bit more the service was poor and the food was nothing special. I waited for a salad for 30min. When I asked the waiter why is like that he told that i should have told whether i want it as first course meal even though he brought me the main course before the salad so i guess the salad is a dessert now.

Amazing place, great atmosphere, love that everything is organic, local and vegan and that they have their own farms. Everything was great, our favourite was breaded tofu. Miso soup was great, would like just a tiny bit more miso flavour in.

Well it was a disappointing experience. We waited more than 10 min until someone came to take the order. The menuwe went to take ourselves, hoping it will somehow invite the staff to do their job :).About the food, it was correct, but without fantasy, nothing exceptional to remember and come back for.It is a pity cause they have a nice outdoor place, nicely shadowed...

My dish was nothing special but it’s really good portion for the price. The restaurant is lovely and has a full vegan carte. The staff is also extremely welcoming and helpful. Would recommend to sit outside on a sunny day.

Amazing place and food. Did not expect such good and healthy food. One of the best dinners I had in a while in the restaurants. Everything is organic and you can taste it. Sweets are awsome too. Drinks are bit pricy. Crew is very relaxed and hospitable. A must go place in Zagreb

Energy and taste if these food is pure goodness. So gentle, yet rich. Soothing, comforting, energizing dishes. Portions are generously big, esthetics perfet, kindness of waiters top.

Just looking at the menu online I wasn’t very excited. After trying the food, I simple regret for not going there everyday. Wow!! Amazing vegan food!!

Located in a perfect hiding place(😉), Zrno restaurant is the best organic place ever in Zagreb. DELICIOUS, TASTY & ORGANIC food. The waitress was really friendly and helpful.HIGHLY RECOMMEND...

Found this place by chance and had a try. Although I am not a vegan, I enjoyed the healthy meal. Good service. A bit overpriced, but it might be due to the local/bio products used.

Nice little diner that offers organic vegan food. Im not a vegan myself, but because of ONE vegan girl, I gave it a chance and it was delicious. Portions were enormous. Staff was polite and everything was perfect.

Amazing! Great atmosphere, very nice staff and delicious Food, especially the Falafel and the Breaded Tofu are extraordinary! The Concept itself is really iconic, revoluntionary and worthy of Imitation. That is the future :)

On my first day in Zagreb, I was absolutely starving and never realised how difficult it is to find some proper sit down places for vegans whilst visiting!Zrno bio bistro is tucked away in a little courtyard with both outside and inside seating. The menu offers a great selection of light bites and proper meals. I’ve had one of their protein plates as well as lemonade suggested by a lovely waitress (who was an absolute pleasure to speak to!). The food was fresh, tasty and amazing value for money.All of their ingredients are sourced from a local farm too. No animal produce whatsoever.Absolute gem in Zagreb, would highly recommend and will make sure to visit when I’m next in the area.

The two of us walked in and were seated right away. Drinks and dishes were served very quickly and tasted amazing. Servers were attentive and polite.

Coming back to Zagreb first time as a vegan and absolutely loved this place, both my Argentinian vegan friend and I. Plenty of options to choose from and all amazing. Definitely will be back. Tom.

The food was amazing. They grow most things they serve, so it’s all local and top quality. Our waiter was really nice and professional, spoke good English. They have a nice inner yard covered with plants so it’s nice and cool even on a hot summer day. You can pay by card here. Enjoy! :))

I had lunch at Zrno today (2020/08/18around 2 PM. My first impression was great. The place is well located and the whole interior design is lovely. Even tho it was late for lunch, they welcomed me with a smile. The staff speak English without any problem.I sat inside and I ordered a bowl of Fusilli with I dont know what kind of Pesto. I was hungry and all I wanted was eating something good and healthy.Im Italian and truly, what that chef did today was great. The Pesto was impressive and the whole bowl of pasta made me wish to eat there every day. It was a bit overcooked just the way I like it.Though it was not perfect. The pasta was a bit too much on the colder side and probably it was sitting in the kitchen for a while (maybe thats the reason why it was overcooked in the first place?). Also its NOT handmade. I can assure you that. Who goes to a restaurant to eat (organicpasta bought from the supermarket? But I guess Croats dont think the same way as Italians do on that matter, so I didnt complain because after all the whole meal was just wonderful.I also ordered chips, and a particular type of lemonade with ginger. Chips were strong. Their taste is not alike to McDonalds which I find to be both a good and a bad thing because a sauce is pretty much mandatory in the order. I dont know what was that sauce, but it tasted good. Very good. The lemonade (which was not really a lemonadewas ok. I saw them pushing on that drink with another client but I presume it was just a recommendation. Besides, I dont speak Croatian, so what do I know?The waitress that served me was a young blonde girl with round glasses. More than once she asked me if everything was okay and if I was enjoying the food. She seemed to me a hard-working person. Every time a bell rang, she was running here and there to satisfy the customers. I read many bad reviews about the service, but this time I have nothing to complain about. Perhaps I was just lucky. Or perhaps I got the good waitress.I paid a total of 132 kunas which I dont know if its too little or too much because the ingredients were indeed organic and fresh (though the pasta was not...).I tipped the girl about 30% of the total. And if you find the same person, please do the same. Tips should be given by cash (thats something I learn about Croatia these past few days).

Vegan, but cool! :DVery good food / price value. Falafel will save your fast food omnivorous friend. Crostata rules! Menus are mostly GF or GFA. Will come back for sure.

Zrno is located in the best location. Pretty close to center and the place is also really cozy with outside and inside setting arrangements with lot of space. Different varieties of vegan menus, deserts, juices, vegan beers, smoothies and coffee. Very organic, vegan, healthy and tasty. People are also very kind and humble. Definite visit in Zagreb. Will see you again for sure

A great hidden find in Zagreb. Tasty, fresh, local and organic vegan dishes in a relaxed and trendy cafe. The housemade breaded tofu was some of the best Ive ever had! We enjoyed sitting in the outside terrace with lovely greenery overhead softening the city surroundings. Not cheap but definitely worth it for a very mindful and well put together meal. Also connected to the bio&bio stores across Croatia which have an incredible range of organic food products on offer!

Had the best meal here, all the flavors blended nicely. Love the atmosphere and thr outside terrace. My only objection is that main courses are too simple and they ran out of best-selling thing on the menu. Desserts are delicious as, however some drinks like plain lemonade (although made with organic lemonsare too pricey. Street parking quite expensive there, so I recommend parking somewhere else and walk there.

5 star for the taste, concept ,food quality, service, and interior design. Well the only things I can complain are : the sauce is a bit too salty, bit dont know if it is the taste of Croatian? I had same experience in another veggie restaurant. It s quite pricey in local standard!! There are many other veggie restaurants cost half price only. But well the quality and innovative ideas of the food kinda worth the price. they have gluten free ,vegan options . I paid 13€ for a drink and the plate.

I found it a bit difficult to find the place itself. Its quite hidden from the noise of the street. :The foods are very tasty, healthy vegan stuff. The receptionist & the waitress were not so friendly with me. I dont know if it was that they had to speak English or so...Overall experience is positive! :)

One of the best restaurants I have been in my life (not joking). Everything was amazing and very tasty. Lots of flavour. The seitan is the best I have eaten in my whole life (seriouslyand the tofu its one of the best. I cant describe into words how much I recommend, so JUST GO there. I would like to be back to Zagreb just because of this place.Obs: if you want to bring a non-vegan/veg friend, I really suggest for her/him to try the seitan cordon bleu.

Gluten free! And vegan! Such a rare find in Zagreb. They even offer gluten free beer. The location is great especially during the summer. The food is good, though a bit overpriced. The service was slow but friendly. Recommend for anyone with dietary restrictions or anyone who wants to try something different and tasty :)
