Zoup! in South Bend

Ordered a large 16oz. Chicken noodle soup and it was mainly all broth. About 10 noodles and 2 pieces of chicken in it. Ordered 2ea. 8oz. Broccoli soups and they were the consistency of glue and tasted nasty. You would think that when you spend $80+ on food delivery that an establishment would ensure your food is good.

Unfortunately, the people working were very impolite and could care less about the customers they were serving. One lady in particular had a poor attitude and we had to wait for our soups to be served while she just stood there taking with her coworkers.

The food is very consistent and good at the price point. No complaints.However, this review is purely for the EXCELLENT customer service I received x2. I placed an order through Uber, was missing more than a few items 🤦‍♂️. I decided to call the restaurant, very upset. In calling, I spoke with a gentleman who was more than receptive and apologetic (totally owned it!). He also told me his manager was sending me a gift card (despite already being credited back by Uber). Got the card today!I ordered through Uber again, a couple weeks later. I called the restaurant asking for a specific request, and subsequently spoke with the same guy. I inquired if he remembered me, he said yes. I asked if he had crackers instead of bread. Request completed 💯💯💯.This guy and place more than exemplifies what food service should be! I will definitely order again, only bc of the outstanding service. There are so many options out there for good food, it comes down to details... whomever I spoke to twice is the reason I will continue to come.You sir deserve a raise for handling things so professionally 👏👏👏 and now have a loyal customer for years to come.

The lobster bisque is always such a favorite! Comfy atmosphere and friendly staff, whenever we travel to South Bend we always consider Zoup! as one of the places to stop at.

This place is a true delight. Fresh salads and delicious soups. Looking forward to trying the sandwiches at a future visit.

It was just an ok soup and sandwich. Their bread is definitely nothing to write home about and it also wasn’t cheap. I paid 14.45+2.00 in tip. For the level of quality, if it was maybe 11-12$ I might come back, but I’ll probably just go to Panera at those prices.

First time there, great lobster bisque and love the chicken fiesta salad!! Definitely will be back!

Best soup I have ever had. North African Harissa Cauliflower is so so good. You really have to give Zoup a try.

Delicious food and reasonably priced. I felt bad that there were only two people working during the lunch rush though.

The manager of this place is very rude and dismissive to customers voicing concerns of previous experience. Really liked the food and other employees too. Austin should probably be your manager tbh he handled the situation alot more professional then the manager. Can tell who really works and appreciates their customers there

I ordered the Chicken Noodle soup. WAAAAYYYY too much dill. my first bite i had an entire sprig of dill in my mouth- stem and all. In my opinion the dill is way too overpowering. I dont mind a bit of dill, but I wouldve like the dill strained out if the broth. Its just too much. Then I didnt get any carrots or celery, just chicken and noodles. The chicken was just tiny little pieces all at the bottom, no large chunks of chicken. It seemed like this was the last of this batch of soup and I got what was left. I was very disappointed with the quality of this soup, especially because i ordered this for delivery and paid twice the price if I were to have picked it up. Also the bread hunk I got with my soup was a 1-inch by 1-inch piece of dryed out bread- it was literally one bite of bread.

They had two excellent soups today that were new - the Singapore Squash and Thai Chilli Chicken. It was hard to decide which to order. Great service too. One downturn though, and unfortunately, this is a big one for me --- they are no longer doing wraps. 👎

This is the second time I have gotten the bread bowl and have been sorely disappointed with their in ability to make a bread bowl right. So I have decided to show you how.

Practical because you can sample their soup before you choose it! They have a selected consistent set of soups, but also leave room for a circulating set. This is surely a favorite spot to support and visit when Im nearby this area.

Great selection. Wonderful lobster bisque. They even have vegan options for those that dont so meat or seafood. Friendly service and they practice social distancing and cleaning practices.

Highly recommend the chicken burrito bowl. Super tasty and fills you up. Many varieties of soup that youre always allowed to sample!

Zoup has an amazing line-up of rotating soups. They are competing with Panera by airing soup with half a sandwich, salad or mac and cheese bowl. They are also winning in my opinion.Baja mac was better. The soups selection is better. The sandwiches are just as good. They even have tea/juice mixes similar to Panera.The service is PROMPT and courteous. Dining area is clean and uncluttered.

Ordered two soups: Loaded Baked Potato and Chicken Wild Rice. Wasn’t busy and was the only customer in line. Left to take this to my girlfriend at work and discovered I was given two Chicken Wild Rice. Not what I wanted. Pretty disappointed. Lack of focus and care for customer service. Maybe I will give them another shot but not sure.Update: Went back and they fixed it. Good showing. Hopefully next time things are right the first time. I will give them a second chance. Frustrating with one star.

First timers and I must say very good! We got French bread with our soup and it was so good as well. We will for sure return again!

Soups are excellent but I ended up with the gorgonzola, romaine cranberry salad. After buying it I realized there was no chicken and we asked for chicken and the server brought it to me, no charge. Delicious! He went out of his way to cheerfully help me. Also they were wiping everything down thoroughly with Clorox wipes. We go there regularly and are never disappointed.

Friendly staff. Samples of soups are provided. Casual atmosphere. The soups are very good. They also offer sandwiches, salads and Mac & cheese. They also offer “take two” options for combinations of soups, sandwiches, salads and noodles.

Amazing! They have the best broccoli cheddar soup Ive ever had. Ill be there again soon for lunch to use their pickup service.

Last night I order an XL order of the Lobster Bisque. I just had major oral surgery so soup and potatoes are my only option. I was so excited as Lobster Bisque is indeed my favorite soup. Oh my word was this stuff horrific. Just super fishy, the pieces of lobster and crawfish(why is it in LOBSTER bisquewere so chewy and gross. I have a family of 8....NO ONE in my entire house would eat it. $20 literally poured down my garbage disposal. Disappointed is a complete understatement.

Great selections, super fast and extremely friendly service! Better than the normal fast food places. Priced a little in the high side but definitely recommend.

The service was excellent, quick and courteous. The italian wedding soup was excellent and my salad was fresh and satisfying. Definitely a healthier and appetizing choice over many restaurants in the area.

Love the selection of soups. And love you can sample 1 or all of them. Them staff is always helpful with answering questions and adjusting whatever changes you need to make your food the way you want it. Always seem to see smiles on there faces when Im eat there.

They have awesome cheesy broccoli soup! Their wraps are also really good. I like how their menu changes daily to give some variety. Healthy options, and a good menu legend for those who may be vegetarian or have dietary restrictions.

Do you take the Lobster Bisque, the Tomato Basil, or the Beef Barley?Whats that? You dont know? Well, youre in good company. I hear that its a frequent dilemma.

I love this chain. The food is delicious and there are always vegetarian options available for me. The service at this location is great, theyre very friendly and the place is clean. Sometimes I feel sad that there arent a lot of customers but I also enjoy the quiet. I wish more people knew how great this place was.

I liked it. We went with friends and they all enjoyed it. The price was a little high for what we got, but it was good and seasoned well. The staff we nice and knew about their menu... Which I always appreciate when going to a new restaurant. The place was clean and so were the restrooms. One of my friends that we came with, has a disabliaty said that he found the chairs comfortable. All in all a good experience.

The soup is delicious here and the sandwiches are good as well. Its similar to Panera bread but where Panera has fallen off with quality and flavor, they have picked up. Service was good and fast, staff is friendly. Will definitely eat here again.

Tried the lemon basil chicken soup on my first visit and it was amazing! Tried it again when it was available and it tasted like week old soup. I was highly disappointed considering the cost of my meal (a bit priceyespecially for old, cold soup. It should be made fresh daily.

The staff was very friendly, the food was not up to par. I could have spent the same amount of money accross the street at a competitor and had much better food. I had the chicken pot pie soup and a sandwich. The soup was gritty and salty. The sandwich was salty. I was going for a bit of savory, so I expected salt, but it was way overloaded. The brownie was dry and far too sweet. The menu needs a serious overhaul. The concept is good, the execution is poor. Again, not the staffs fault. They were gold star friendly. The food was predominately wasted and not worthy of the money spent.

I adore Zoup! Not for thier soups, I couldnot care less about those, but the sandwiches are amazing! The Chicken Toscana and the Maple Ham & Bacon are phenomenal.I dont really enjoy the enviroment in Zoup! and it often does seem a bit dirty in the dining area, so I prefer to take my food to go.

Fresh delicious soup and fresh baked bread are made daily. Selection varies by day and you can check out the daily soup menu online before going. Great, friendly service. Their shrimp and aspargus soup is delicious!

Came in there yesterday and ordered a big order. 3XL soups and two bowls of soup. They kept making fun of us and were asking things like "is WWIII starting tomorrow and we dont know about it? Are you stocking up for it or something?" Or "are you really going to eat all of this or freeze some?" She asked if we were going to freeze some at least three times. I think it was very rude for her to keep asking about why we got so much food.Not to mention this isnt the first time we have come in looking at the online menu first and the soups we had wanted werent in the store! (Yes it was the right location that we looked at!so, you guys should really work on if a soup isnt in the store then dont advertise it online for that day!

I seriously love this place! The food is always awesome and you couldnt ask fora better staff. The manager especially, he is always there working right along with the others and the sense of urgency is something you just dont see everywhere.

Place was excellent for us. Wanted a bowl of soup for lunch then dinner but no way! We got filled up fast! Dont need dinner! Awesome bread, fantastic salad, the soup was stellar, lobster bisque just loaded with langostine lobster meat. For three people, $22 plus took home three more meals! Come on! This is a DAMN fine place.

My bread was to die for, and I had an okay vegetarian soup. Bf had an asian/steak type of soup and he loved it. I wish my soupd had been better, but perhaps on a different day Id find an option I like more. I sampled the spicy crab and it was bad.

Great service, excellent food, and you can sample any/all soups your curious about so youre guaranteed to get on you like. Well be back

This is one of my favorite places to eat. I love that we can sample the soups instead of getting stuck with something I wouldnt like. The workers are so fun and friendly and that makes it a very enjoyable experience in of itself.

First time there today. Great service, clean, attentive workers. Im not a soup person but it was actually really good and tasty soups. I had the spicy shrimp bisque and I highly recommend it. Also the chicken sandwich. Only thing to improve was the "sweet" tea. I am biased with wanting very sweet southern tea but it was not sweet at all. The raspberry tea wasnt bad though.
