Zorba's Greek + Italian in Winnipeg

Sometimes u can go there and grab honestly the best food. But more often than not you are met with one of their managers who allows cold food and bad service to be their calling.

First time here and thought they were pretty rude, using only few words. Upon getting my food I asked “is everything there?” and got no response, so I just assumed it was all there. Once I got home with my order I realized they forgot half my order.Only upside is the half that is there taste decent.

The food was amazing and plentiful. Staff was friendly and place was clean. Cant wait to go back!

The server is slower than a turtle. Unsanitary conditions, no gloves, server touches the food and touches the end of the spoon and fork that goes into the customers mouth. Foods are too salty and way too pricey.

Omg. Stale, overpriced, tasteless is how I’d describe food from here having tried it twice. So much imbalance of ingredients (too much dressing, too less fresh ingredients, dressing doesn’t even taste greek at all, horrible pita quality… can go on forever).Standards need to be lifted up a bit to even come close to chains like Jimmy the greek or Opa. Sorry but not sorry because my money was wasted 😑

Will change to one star if I get food poisoning.Long wait, bad service and way overpriced for what we got. Wont be stopping here again.

Greek salad was loaded with feta and delicious, souvlaki is great.

I had Zorbas cater our company lunch this week. Penny is amazing. She is very personable, and she went above and beyond to ensure our order was perfect. She called me back to follow up and customized the order to our office needs. The food itself was delicious. Highly recommend for staff and family functions. Thanks Penny!

I have been a customer of Zorbas for over 20 years....Zorbas is so professional and attending to their clients; I am always amazed at how they manage to attend to everyones orders with such efficiency. Her food is amazing!

OMG! I am from England and visiting Winnipeg for 2 days until I travel to Toronto and Vancouver. I had food at the forks and ate at Zorbas! The portions were amazing and the customer service was excellent. I had so much fun talking to the team. Then I had the food... beautiful! I have traveled to Turkey, Greece, etc. and when I spoke to the owner and she explained the history of her food passed down... the food melted in my mouth! You have to try this place and visit them!

So good!!! Im always open to anything on the menu because everything is so delicious.

I hit up Zorbas at least twice a week for lunch. The food is always fantastic and the staff treat me like family. Huge portions make for some afternoon leftovers!! Shining star of the forks.

I havent had a bad experience here, and Ive been going for 20+ years. The Pizza and Lasagna are always packed with flavor and the banter I enjoy between the staff and myself has always been fun. With the way things are going at The Forks, its a real bargain to find a place that has decent food at a DECENT price.

We ate at the Zorba Greek + Italian (largely Greek fast-food restaurant at the forksand it was meh. Rather disappointing. We ordered the mini lasagne/Greek salad and souvlaki in a pita/Greek salad which were both average (or below averagegiven the price. There are many other better options at The Forks just meters away so Id suggest that you eat elsewhere

The old dude needs to be trained on how to treat a customer - He is simply rude to customers. I am not going to talk about how pricey & horrible the food is.

Definitely meh. I had a gyro with potato wedges and they were ok---but the tzatziki sauce was missing something...garlic maybe? it was flavourless! service was also pretty slow considering that it wasnt very busy.There are many other greek and burger joints in Winnipeg that have better tasting Gyros than Zorbas. If youre at the Forks, id suggest one of the many other food options available.

Pizza is outstanding, gyro very flavorful.

The gyro was terrible. All that was in it was tomato and white onions. Not the traditional gyro I expected at a place like The Forks. Completely disapointing to have no feta or cucumbers. The onions should be red! It was the worse one I ever had.

Had a great experience and really enjoyed the Chicken Souvlaki with Greek Salad, my meal was made fresh, and well worth the wait. Presentation was excellent. My husband had the Pepperoni and Bacon pizza slices and thoroughly enjoyed them.Will definitely visit again...

Tried to charge a fee for debit. Bring cash! Pizza was ok, wouldve given 3 stars but the surchage thing ticked me off. Wont be back.

The guy at the till wouldnt even face us while we were ordering so we couldnt hear what he was asking. He then got frustrated and treated us like we were stupid when we couldnt hear him. He made my fiance and I feel like we were idiots by the time the order was made.We didnt eat the food and never will.

Very expensive and the worst gyros pita Ive ever eaten. It was not even gyros ..

Walked by and saw a block of white cheese being picked up off the floor and cut up,(an older male at this point I had to watch what was going to happen next... was being used for a pizza. Absolutely disgusting! Never going here.

the employees got our order wrong and took 20 minutes. they even forgot our order and didn’t seem to know what they were doing. in conclusion: get better staff and keep on making great food.

Not at all Greek. Deep fried wedges were freezer burnt, lady working the till refunded me. Pizza was really good though.

The meal I had there was a waste of my money. The chicken was overdone and the Greek salad tasted like Caesar salad and had way to much dressing. Will not eat there again. Thanks
