Nice place. 4 hours spents interesting. Recommend to everyone who wants to take a walk and see some nice animals.
MoreGreat place for kids and their parents. Few fences for a great experience with the animals and a nice environment. Awesome!
MoreGood Park, friendly staff, clean, reasonable prices via Social deal and nice walking path for children.
MoreThis is a well laid out park. Tge animals generally looked happy and relaxed. The facilities were good and the ticket was food value for money
MoreVery nice zoo, has a playground and petting zoo. There is Dino Expedition till 13 Nov.There is some special adventure routes for kids to have fun through the zoo.Very recommened
MoreSuch a great zoo to spend a mornings walk with the kids. Very friendly staff. Open setup of the park so you can get close to a lot of the animals. Dino theme once a year.
MoreThis parc is really nice but quite expensive, too.
Small zoo but nice lets you get interacted with the animals.Recommended.
One of the best zoo that i have been on. it is not as large and have less animals as the one we have at home but this zoo have the best design that i saw by far.pros:1the zoo is divided to areas or continents and in each zone you have the animals that are native to that area.2you have 1 route so you cant get lost and you dont need to double track.3the best part is every 20m you have advance route for kids( very short but with wood and obsticals that they enjoy corssing)4at the end of the park is a big treat. big trampolin and some swings and more attractions5paid parking lot with lots of space6when we came it was not crowded and they publish the feeding time for each animal so you can go watch.7the animals seems happy and they have alot of space. and on some areas they are free to walk among youcons:only 1 for food: mostly junk food in the 2 places there(one in the middleand my wife is vegetarion and couldnet find what to eat.overall i realy recomand to visit if you are in the area and have half a day
MoreFantastic zoo. Really enjoyed visiting. Worth the drive from Beekes Bergen
Nice zoo, not to big with nice extras for the kids.
Small but beautiful zoo with large enclosures.
Small zoo. Can be viewed in one afternoon. Not many animals. But the look and feel is decent.
MoreThe best zoo I have seen so far :I am visiting this place at least once a month. Great atmosphere in jungle feeling and variety of animals. It gives a feeling that you are visiting them in their natural habitat. Animals have very big are to live and some of them are free roaming in the zoo :thats lovely!
MoreIf so have kids and are on the are it is a must.If you dont have kids it is quite good for a date.
MoreA great experience as the first zoo our children went to, you can tell tge animals enjoy their quite natural habitat!
MoreWauw ! What a zoo. ! All exotic animals. Big and small. The ambiance fulfils it !
MoreWas nice, suggest to visit in warmer time, because today was cold and rainy,so lot of animals was hide and sleep in shelters! We was there 2 hours.
MoreThis is one well kept, modern, clean and nice zoo!The environment for both animals and visitors is well tended and looked after. Also experienced it as kids friendly.ZooParc is complete in its diversity. I can highly recommend a visit; the enclosures are big and mimic natural environments very well (no concrete in sight and no dated or tiny pens as you might encounter in some of the older zoos). If youre going for quality of quantity and find yourself in the neighbourhood, Id highly recommend a visit.
MoreMy partner has been eager to bring me here for over two years, and today was finally the day. We were hurrying to reach the time slot we booked (though that doesnt matter much on weekdays in hindsightbut when we got there we stayed outside for 15 minutes, making us 14 minutes late. Reason being is that even outside, in front of the entrance, the zoo is already so nice and welcoming that we enjoyed staring red pandas and otters so much it made us late for the park right behind our backs.Animals:The park has a great variety of animals, not the most exciting or exotic ones but for reasons youll understand later that doesnt matter. All the homes of the animals in ZooParc Overloon are amazing. Theyre very comfortable, theyre big enough, theyre natural, theyre well kept, and everything these animals could ask for. All animals have places both indoors and outdoors, and options to hide if they wish in both of those. The friendly ones are usually able to interact with humans, but the visitors arent allowed to interact with them as thats not good for their survival health. Everything in the park shouts that they care for the animals more than for the money, simply incredible. The Park:The paths are cute and have an amazing vibe, they blend with the surroundings in a very natural way, making it feel not only like a visit to a zoo, but also like a walk through a very unique forest. Again everything is exemplary well maintained to the point that a bit of trash I saw the first round through the park was gone 3 hours later. The Price:for just under €20,- spending a day here is a cop-out, the value for what you get is incredible and I recommend everyone to go here!
MoreEasily one of the best zoos Ive visited, lots of unique animals and experiences, great focus on education, friendly staff. The only downside is the zoo being a bit of a pain to reach with public transportation, but thats my only complaint. Highly recommend this zoo to anyone.
MoreGreat and beautiful zoo with lots of nature. There s a large parking area across the road (3 mins walking topsbathrooms after the entrance are very clean. Lots of space on the paths, with beautiful green grass, trees bushes and so on. Animals look taken care of and very healthy. As far as Ive seen there are also some breeding programs for the endangered animals. Staff is very nice and helpful near the enclosures. If youve got any questions, theyll try to answer them.Do take your boots with you after rain has fallen. Pathways will get quite muddy. Toilet areas later on are a bit dirtier menwise. Prices for a cappuccino were around 2,75.was ok for a venue. 5/5 Will visit again.
MoreLoads of different animals, great looking enclosures and you can get really close to some of the (non dangerousanimals.
MoreReally nice place for a day out;)
Nice cozy park with great attention for the animals...at least thats how it looks like
MoreExcellent, magnificent zoo park.. well suited, good animal environment and close access to the animals.
MoreBeautiful for kids but not only! You can buy food and drinks...you dont need to print the tickets just scan the qr code which you receive on your phone...
MoreNice zoo. The place took a lot of effort to make the paths look nice. The animals all have a lot of space and some are even allowed to walk up to the visitors.
MoreWe have been here a few times, it really is a great family day out. I would recommend spending the whole day here it’s such a large zoo plus you won’t want to miss the feeding times .Be careful with the feeding times as the smaller kids night not be too impressed to see a rabbits head being pulled off by a cheetah 😁 but that was probably just a one off 😁The variety of animals here is great, there is an area where some animals are waking freely next to the path which is a great ideaWatching the lions getting fed is a must if you can time it right
MoreYou could spend half day there, well arranged route and animal are not so far away, it’s a pity that I did not find the anteater🥲🥲. But I have learned several new words about new animals, especially tapir, it’s called dream eater in ancient Chinese novel, Shanhaijing.
MoreAmazing place for families. Gives you exotic vibes.
We went to the zoo yesterday (21.8.20.). We couldnt have chosen better day than that. Warm, but windy, it had a bit of South Mediterranean feeling and warmth which just added to the whole experience.I found it very thoughtful of the zoo policy for their staff to wear masks. It must be bummer for the staff, as it is and was quite warm. Still, very very well thought. Cudos!I dont know what does it look like when there are no covid rules and regulations, but weve seen and visited everything. We loved the shadow and all different views you come along. It was easy, the route walked naturally.Kids loved the small activity paths along the way. It was full success!Only backlash were wasps, just before we entered the zoo my oldest was bitten by one. This way I would like to thank two very helpful ladies at the front who helped us, with prompt request for help and help, of course. You saved our day, thank you! :)All in all I recommend this zoo and would like to visit again. Im interested in winter experience. Or when "new normal" stops being practiced. 🙂
MoreNice zooparc with a green cover. Most animals are from south americas. Maintained good social distancing measures during covid-19 time. Can spend 3-4hours typically.
MoreThe park is well worth visiting, great facilities and the animals are well cared for and easy to view.
MoreA Nice zoo. Not too big. We can feel the animals are well taken care off. I recommend it.
MoreThis zoo is well maintained with lots of animals in large, open spaces. The best part of the zoo is the fact that they have created a single route to take which leads you past all the animals in one walk. Along the pathway there are small "sneak through" areas for little children to climb upon. Restaurant is great too with more than reasonable prices.
MoreLovely zoo! Its not too busy and there are plenty of opportunities to sit and watch the animals, or relax in the shade. The enclosures for the animals – although on occasion seemingly not very large, are often quite open and visible, allowing for a more natural experience. In a few hours you can see the entire park.
MoreHave been to a lot zoos and parcs already. But this one is definitely one of the most beautiful and exciting zoos I met. Lovely scenery and beautiful habitats for the animals. From lions to wallabies and from birds to animals I have never heard of them before. And everywhere is an exciting pathway for the small ones so no one will be bored in this Parc. Personell is friendly and in good mood. A great recommendation for a nice visit you will not forget.
MoreThe zoo has a nice route with a playground at the end. So there are few distractions when you are visiting with children. There are several climbing paths that are fairly easy and a playground at the end of the route. The big cats are in nice areas with different viewpoints.
MoreThe place is more like a park with no ml or than 20-30 animal species. The animals are well taken care of. We paid 10 euro p.p. via Social deals and that is a fear price. But on the casa the price is almost 17 euro p.p and that is way too expensive for what we get there. Plus 5 euro for parking. I know this animals have to eat but 17 euro is way too much. But it is a nice place to spend half a day,to walk in the park.
MoreNice small park for a short visit with kids. The setup is real nice and gives you the impression that you walk through the real habitat. In some areas like animals like pinguin actual are crossing the footpath or monkeys are climbing over your head.
MoreIts an amazing experience. The price you pay really correspondens to the amount of animals you get to see. You have a good view over the entire park there is good food and the animals dont seem to be sad at all. We saw lions getting fed. It was a wonderful experience. There were a lot of little ducklings in the park too. I think you can have a nice morning or afternoon in this park. It is not big enough for a whole day but sure for a part. You can bring little children along because there are regular paths and there are jungle paths for kids.
MoreBeautiful animal park that is easily walkable. The environments where the animals are kept are well cared for and very spacious and you can view them from almost every angle, which ensures that you can see each animal, wherever it is hiding. I was surprised to see 6 male lions together and not a single female. I know from the wild about male coalitions, but I didnt expect to see only male lions in a animal park. The staff is very friendly and helpful, there are excellent parking facilities nearby and a fun expedition experience for children. The only thing that really disturbed us was the lack of choice/healthy options to eat at the base camp. We were there with 2 small children and going back to the main building for lunch wasnt an option (I dont know what they serve there).
MoreYou get really close to the animals. The park is not that big, not too many animals, but it is all well organised and plenty to do for 2.5 hours. No AMEX accepted and no charging for electrical cars available. 5EUR for the car park.
MoreReally nice and cozy zoo, recommended for zoo enthusiasts (close encounters). Had a great time with the kids.
MoreVery lovely zoo definitely worth a visit.Really love the lion exhibit and the small free roam Savannah with kangaroos and Emus
MoreBeautiful small zoo park. You can come very close to some animals, which literally pose for your camera. Definitely worth of visiting.
MoreAmazingly perfect zoo. Not too crowded, loved walking through the animals, laid out very well. Staff were very helpful and courteous.
MoreLovely zoo, unexpected in a small town like Overloon. Situated in a landscaped park, the zoo avoids visible fencing as much as possible. Along the main route are small byways for the kids to climb and discover. Friendly guides add to the overall atmosphere. Would have rated 5 stars if the kiosk half way down the route had some inside seating, it unfortunately lacked cover for the autumn winds.
MoreIn the middle of nowhere there is this little zoo. Do not expect many spectacular animals or a lot of them. Let yourself be carried away by the ambiance and enjoy the little surprises you discover around the next corner.
