Hey there... Excellent place to rent different types of bicycle Ex: cruiser, Fixed, MTB, Road and accessories. Great customer service.Small bar to get beer, coffee or refreshment afterwards.Marín Bikes authorized dealer.
This was a great tour. VERY IMFORMATIVE. Our tour guide knows his history. Kids had a great time. Would definitely recommend.
Very comfy bikes and interesting tours, Jose is part of an amazing cycling community, also their orange ginger tea is nice post-ride
We went on a guided bike tour with Jose on our first day in Santo Domingo and it was the best thing that we could do. He explained so much about the culture and history of the city. We went to different places that he recommended afterwards. This trip made our Santo Domingo experience so much better!! Thanks!
Awesome place. Great people, and lots of local beer options for after (or beforeyour ride
Great bike tour. Very informative. I highly recommend. The host Jose really knows his stuff. I learnt so much about the history of the colonial zone and DR. This is a good thing to do when you first arrive in SD as it will give you knowledge of things to do. Highly recommend
I want to leave a good review because I know these are nice people but this was not a great experience. I reached out to Zona bici months before our trip to see if we could rent bikes for our family. They say they speak Italian and English on their website but that wasn’t the case with any of the employees that I spoke with. They told me they had bikes and could provide a guide. A week before I texted to confirm and they told me it wouldn’t be possible any more. Were they even going to let me know? When we got there on the designated day they were unclear what we needed and didn’t have the bikes ready. I also would have appreciated a honest conversation with them telling me that Zona colonial isn’t a great place to ride bikes, especially with kids. The sidewalks don’t have ramps and the city was packed with cars and scooters. They could have suggested another place or advised me that it wasn’t a great idea with teens and kids. The bikes themselves were not great. My bike and my husband’s bike had brakes that hardly worked. None of the kids had helmets that fit. They also gave me a lock that fell apart the first time we tried to use it.They also told me that it wouldn’t be a problem to pick up the bikes later from our hotel. Why tell me things if you cannot actually do them? They told me they couldn’t do that but then we stood our ground and showed on WhatsApp where they had promised that they could. They came FOUR hours after they told me they would come and our hotel was angry with us.Maybe this is par for the course in the Dominican Republic and i am just naive, but they could have told me upfront about issues and we would have been prepared.
Amazing place with best coffee in Santo Domingo. Cycling tour is highly recommended as a first stop visiting the city as there will be many good recommendations on places to see, eat and drink
I didnt ride a bike from here but their filter coffee is a blast!!!! 💥💣
Excellent service. Fair prices.
If youre un santo domingo (DRAND you need to buy, rent,ir fix youre bike?? Go to zona bici and they will take care of you..
OK bike rental place. About $6/hr USD for a beach cruiser. $10 for a MTB. Dont need MTB pretty flat riding. Good coffee shop.
Ive ridden bikes in this place and the attention always have been great, but today I spent like 4 hours in theirs Cafe Bar and It was FABULOUS, the barista is really GOOD and he knows his business. He guides you through your order and help you choose the best option if you know nothing about coffee, like me 😅. The cashier is a lovely person and is always available to help you. In general the staff is amazing.
This was a highlight of my trip. The bike ride was fantastic and the history was amazing. Highly recommend.
Perfect place to rent a bike and get to know La Zona Colonial from another perspective. Get there very early, so you can ride around without so much traffic. One hour: RD$300 / US$5.12*They have a coffee shop inside👌🏽*They have good C19 protocols🦠
Very nice experience and really good customer service. Aldo Rodriguez took care of us and he made sure we felt comfortable. Besides helping us pick the best bikes, he also recommended few restaurants around the area (he is from there). The experience of biking in the Zona Colonial is amazing! This is a must go place, 100% recommended.
First and foremost, lets talk about Aldo and his customer service skills. Aldo is the type of person who you can have a conversation as if you knew him. He was great explaining some of the rules around Zona Colonial and of course the bike rental rules. Aside from this , is you have any question or if you want any suggestions about the area feel free to ask. I will definitely recommend this place and if you are lucky enough to be greeted by Aldo well you will enjoy it alot more.
Just great! Super fun!
Friendly service and fun bikes. Nice selection of craft beers and coffee. Great fun. Sorry no unicycles.
I service my bike here every single time, personnel is very professional and caring. Been coming here for many years now.
He made a custom chocolate drink for me and it was delicious. He was friendly and spoke excellent English. The wifi was great (for the islandand the bathroom was clean.
Had a very nice English-language bicycle tour with Luis; he was professional but easy-going and the tour was informative and took in all the old-town sights. Also had my best coffee (flat white with proper latte art and cold brewin Santo Domingo. Also also enjoyed a couple local craft brews while chatting with a stranger at the bar. What more could you want?
The Team Crew! Theyre Nice, Good customer service and You find snacks or drinks, could help before the trip. NICE PLACE
Everyone at the shop was incredibly friendly. The aesthetic inside the cafe was really homey; would have been content just hanging out there with a Kambucha. Was lucky enough to get a tour with Jose (the shops owner). Well informed and his passion for the citys current and historical culture was infectious. Of the many awesome sights and activities in Santo Domingo, this was my highlight. Would HIGHLY recommend the tour.
Spent the past week in Santo Domingo, DR hanging out and getting to enjoy the island life. During our stay my friend to us took us to Zona Bici to introduce us to Jose(the ownerand to show us the shop. Upon arrival I was stunned, the shop is beautiful, they have everything to offer from bike rentals, bike tours for a very reasonable price, a cafe, local craft beers, you want it they have it, not to mention you are sitting in a prime location of the colonial zone, you are 3-4 blocks from the malecons panoramic sea view, all of the amazing restaurants and shopping stores are within walking distance. Best part for me was the hospitality, the Zona Bici staff were amazing, super friendly and made you feel at home. If you’re every in Santo Domingo I high recommend making it a point to stop by their shop, say hi, and catch a bike tour. You won’t be disappointed
Jose and the entire crew at Zona Bici are passionate and dedicated to giving you a cool and safe experience in the Colonial Zone. The cafe and coffee are top notch, the store is a welcoming and cool place to hang out, and the bikes and tours are fun, informative, and well thought out. I would recommend Jose and Zona Bici to almost any type of person (tourist or localas they are working to make cool things happen for you, for their community, and for cycling worldwide. They speak English and Spanish fluently as well.
Well run establishment. Enjoyed seeing the colonial zone from a bike. Easier to cover more ground. Luis was an excellent guide
Love availability of a wide variety of craft beer and coffee. Looking forward to returning for a bike tour soon!
I had a fantastic time. Our guide Luis was superb. I would recommend the tour to anyone. A healthy way to explore Santo Domingo.
Lady at the front was rude. People were inattentive and nobody knew what was going on. I came I specifically for coffee and their machine was broken. They never got it fixed and I waited 3 hours for a coffee that never happened
Delicious craft beer! Love their IPA 🍺🍻😋 They have the same problem, like everywhere in the DomRep. No menu, nothing is priced, nobody has a clue or can explain properly whats on offer. And youll wait forever for your change. Hm!
I havent rented a bike here but I love their bar! I had a great blonde and my fiance loved the ipa. Really cute place and it looks like they have good pastries too. Free wifi! I plan on spending more time working here and enjoying the cool atmosphere!
Best Bike rental in the Zona Colonial.Try the amazing coffee a pro Barista serves at the establishment.Highly recommended. My favorite route is to ride my way to the Malecon and afterwards the Colonial area.
Very good craft beers! Well made and fresh enough to taste the best of the hops. They had good looking siphon coffee but didnt have time to try it. They also gave helpful directions on looking for places to eat. Well worth stopping by!
We just did the bike tour around Zona Colonial with José and we can’t say enough about how fantastic it was. José provided us with so much information about his city. We loved learning the history of the city, hearing about how certain areas have made a comeback, and getting the true stories about the city that one won’t hear on the typical tourist “excursion”. José’s tour honestly makes us want to go back to Santo Domingo and we wish we had longer than one night to spend in the city. Highly recommend!
Excellent experience. Great service . Good Craft Beer selection.
Awesome place! Great fun, and the owners have their heart at the right place working to make Santo Domingo more bicycle friendly. PS: The passion fruit ice lolly I had after the ride was delicious!
The staff was friendly and accommodating. The bikes were maintained and in good condition as well. Recommend you come here first.
Nice place to rent bikes. Decent prices. Not too strict. Nice friendly employees. Bikes look and feel well kept . Theyre safe or not depending on your bike skills ( if you rent them you will be biking around the city )
Great service, very kind and helpful staff. Not expensive. Highly recommended!!
Great service, and a large range of cruise bike.
This is a great place. Super easy and straightforward bike rental. Staff was helpful when we told them that wed like to make a longer trip; they recommended the time needed and a good route. Cool local beers available. Biking was a great way to see the city, especially going out of the Zona Colonial.
An unique place, great service, best place to rent a bike and go sightseeing the Colonial Zone
Even though this is mainly a bike rental place they have the most wide selection of Dominican craft beers you can find. The snacks are on the house and the owners are very knowledgeable about all the beers. Great ambience to have a couple of beers after renting a bike. Or maybe just go for the beers.
This is an excellent places for bike renting, you can have a really good time riding a bike through the colonial zone.
Great place and amazing plan! Theres not a better way to get to know La zona Colonial than riding a bike
Must do @ Zona Colonial. Can bring your family to ride the bikes. We got some issues but they solved them all.!!Recommended!!
A great experience for a family fun day, also an amazing service
