Beautiful park along the city outer canal, with very special ancient trees, like planetrees, ginko biloba, cypresses and a sequoia. Many nice places for picknicks, also along the water. Not allowed for bikes. Dogs are allowed in most parts of the park to walk without a leash. Near the station it has a new part, with masses of wild flowers.

Really nice park for a walk

Nice park in Utrecht. I recommend to have walks there and around old town. It looks like a mini Amsterdam and it is way less crowded, so you can enjoy Netherlands style in nice and quite way. Pleasant restaurants and Caffè at the canals bank.

It has the (poorly documented - see my other reviews2nd tear city walls. I dare you to find a better preserved section of town wall anywhere in a major city in the Netherlands.Otherwise just a park alongside a moat in-between monuments.Wheelchair and scootmobile accisable. Includes benches.

Definitely a must to go take a walk along the Singel if you visit Utrecht. Maybe after you visit Oudegracht and the Dom. Its very green and goes right around the historic city.

Nice and relaxing place to take a walk

Once designed by Mr. Zocher for leisure and recreation, today its a long dog poopie park, crowded with running people who will always almost run into you and building sights. Go there very early in the morning.

Always better in the summer of course, when there is always lots of activities in the park center. A great place for a pleasant walk or ride or even a boat ride on the canal.

You have to visit this wonderful place . very enjoyable . TC.

It is surprising how quiet it can be in the middle of the city. I love the atmosphere of this place. You can even hear a rooster crowing here!

One of those tucked away gems, hidden in plane sight. It shows how serene utrecht can be. Its a great way to escape the city buzz wandering around this historical park.

The park is not safe. A group of students has to deal with the rain to arrive t the school.

Beautiful park in the middle of the city. It is lovely walking around to enjoy the fresh air and the peacefulness of the place. It is easy to spend a lot of time just wondering around.

In case of nice weather is the best place where to take your dog for a walk, your childrens for a nice picnic or sport or whatever you want. Dont forget to take something like a blanket to sit on the ground although there are benches more or less everywhere

Another serene site... The park itself is a feature. I recommend family/romanric talks. It is quiet peaceful and away from the cyclists.

Lovely for a walk, sit on the benches or next to the Canal. On the city side there are no cars so great for kids. Right next to central station. Follow along City side and you will and uo at Ledif erf with some very nice bars with outside seating.

What makes the park so nice is that it is right by the canal, a serene walkway along the water and all the massive old trees.

Great park which was built on the site of the former city wall. Lots of different trees and lovely views on all sides.

Its just a park with trees, nothing fancy. There were a lot of people walking their dogs which was nice. I love dogs.

Stunning park! Excellent for a run, stunning views of the cannal and there are very often events near the malieban. There are steal deck chairs that recline, perfect for soaking up the sun.Watch out for mosquitoes in the summer.You should go here for:A game of footballPicknikingSitting in the grass.
