Lively 5-room pub for live sports on large screen TVs, regular karaoke nights & a garden BBQ grill.
Zielona Gęś in Warsaw
Description
During the week it closes a bit too early (11pm), but otherwise the place is great. There is always enough seating and they dont even take reservations for parties of 6 or fewer (during the week at least). I recommend their pizzas which are surprisingly good given that this is a pub and not a pizza place.
MoreGreat pre-concert venue to Klub Stodola. Pizza is popular with many, which I can not understand why. Soggy wet dough. Napolitano pizza it is not.
MoreGood pizza / beer and karaoke night on Thursdays.
Absolutely delicious cuisine! A great place for the pizza lovers and also for the karaoke fans!
MoreReally nice place! Best pizza´s ever! If you are in Poland eat, drink, sing there!
MoreVery tasty vegetarian pizza...the staff speaks english.
Horrible experience, racist people. Treat their customers with disrespect. Very bad service.
MoreI wish there was sth other than fries to pick
Horrible Pizza ,good beer
They are not kind. We Said hello 3 timde in the bar, no one çare about it. Manager of the place was so rude as well.
MoreCheap and cheerful. Service was OK.
Pizza and fries were fine, the portion sizes werent great, though. But asking 15 PLN for Heineken and Żywiec is a robbery. Not that I cant afford it, but... its like immoral to buy it :D
MoreGood atmosphere and wide variety of drinks and tasty meat. Recommend for couples, young people and family. They have also karaoke and clean toilets.
MoreVery good place yo have fun however its not economic if youre group you will have fun
MoreGreat service, awesome beer and good atmosphere! If youre near Warsaw, come here 🍻
MoreNice pub, but spacing is little bit too narrow
Nice place, tasty food, very friendly service. It was nice to be in this place.
This classic between the classic, the place where I was watching more television events, with a huge capacity, is a good place that combine pub, bar, restaurant, karaoke and retransmission oftv events like footbal, but I cannot place it on the top of anything clearly
MoreFab customer service. Outdoor seating and dining. Lovely variety of foods and drinks.
MoreExcellent place near to metro to grab some beers and eat pizza. On Fridays eve they have karaoke and the atmosphere is amazing. There is always international people.
MoreToo expensive for a student’s pub: Cubs Libre 33 zl, and pizzas around 30-40 zl which is enough for 2 people. I would recommend any other restaurant around such as Lolek or Bolek where variety of food is higher and prices slightly lower. Average check for 5 peoples is 400 zl.
MoreTo expensive for place, which looks like student pub. Aperol Spriz costs 27 PLN, when i tasted it i found out there was smth wrong with it, when i told this to waitress she proposed to pour me some water into the drink. Worst servise ever.
MoreIt is a place for local people but if you go you will not regret it, good food and good price
MoreNice place to have some good time with friends and colleagues. Their pizzas are quite tasty :)
MoreNice spot. While my sister was visiting Warsaw from NYC, we met a friend here for her birthday. She’s a big karaoke fan. This place had a good selection of Polish and English songs. We were a party of 7, there was plenty of space for us all even though the spot was packed and we didn’t make prior reservations. They even had a separate space for dancing. The food was decent pub food and the drinks were reasonably priced. Our waitress was so sweet and very accommodating. Overall, we had a blast and I have already recommended this spot to several people.
MoreFaux English pub style wooden finishings inside, cavernous ambiance, high bar till, waittresses in hotpants and black Tees taking orders and serving outside, rather no-nonsense attitude. Good espresso machine, had an Americano, no artificial sweetener alas. Emphasis on beer and wholesome accoutrements. Steak fries pizza style menu, not for me. Had my coffee out at the street side, kind of ok, although the table setting is a bit cramped, large section of the terrace cordoned off for some reason. All in all the place lacks charm, but I suppose people having a sit down next to a very popular park and at a very busy street are not really waiting for charm, but for a drink and a bite to eat. Drink, eat, pay, take off. Efficient.
MoreI don’t get why this place is always busy. Very expensive and unfriendly staff. The pizza is average and the drinks too. Can get better anywhere in Warsaw.
MoreBig seating area outside, good beer but most of all great pizza. In my two years in Warsaw I have not been able to find better pizza. Usually have the margarita with mozzarella di bufala and it’s absolutely perfect, just like you would have it in Italy. Highly recommend.
MoreThe pizza and the tiramisù were amazing but the service needs to be improved.
Nice Pizza and screen
great pizza, big screens for watching sports, karaoke. the only reason I dont give a 5 is because the karaoke stage is really uncomfortable ;)
MoreGood to have some beers outside. In the evening it turns into a karaoke bar, or cheap disco, which Im not a big fan of.
MoreCool place, where you can sit inside or outside. Party time in the weekends with karaoke👍 Nice staff❤
MoreGreat selection of local and imported beers and a nice feel to the place overall... Until the karaoke starts! Joking aside, it is so loud that, even in the garden area, which is enormous and offers something resembling table service, you find yourself shouting over it. I could hardly speak the next day, I was so hoarse! Not too pricey. Not too cheap. Staff are friendly. Great location.
MoreCool epic student pub. It has a karaoke (l think every night? - at least Friday s). Lot of fun and nice drinks and snacks and pizza
MoreOk, not bad but the karaoke stage is hard to get up and down from if you are fat and old like me. Try and make it a bit safer and more democratic, and Ill give five stars next time.
MoreExcellent neapolitan pizzeria. If you miss the pizza from Naples and you live in Warsaw, this is the right place for you. What I enjoyed the most about this restaurant is the speed of pizza preparation: only a 5 to 10 minutes wait :D.The pub also has a karaoke.Try it for yourself. And if you are Italian, you cant miss this pub ;)
MoreIt was one of the best pub in Warsaw. Now it is also the best pizzeria (try the nduja version if you are a spicy kind of person). Awesome place!!! UPDATE : while the pizza is top notch you should stay far away from the Aperol Spritz unless you like water with ice for 20zl. Pitty as they did nothing when we complained about IT. Worst Aperol Spritz ever.
MoreLarge, excellent bar with an even larger outdoor seating area, weather permitting. Though it is located near the center of Warsaw, it seems to be quite a local hangout, with not many foreigners there when I was there. As a foreigner myself, its kind of cool for some good ol cultural immersion.
MoreNormal pub in a great location. Perfect for people watching. What distinguish it from other pubs is the neapolitan pizza: easily one of the best pizza in town by the sheer fact it is made with the original recipe, as in Naples. If we compare it to the pizzerias back in Italy, it is very average (I suspect they dont keep the oven hot enough and pizza remains partly uncooked). If youre expecting a Polish or American pizza, look elsewhere.
MoreBest Italian pizza in town IMO. Other stuff (alcohol etc.is OK. Often is full so better reserve a table.
MoreGreat pizza and well priced beer during happy hour, but the service always manages to screw up our order. Doesnt matter how quickly the pizza can come, if they forget an order you will awkwardly wait
MoreGood places for companies meetings or parties...something to drink, something to eat. You can watch there sport events (olimpic, games etc). On some days sing on karaoke and dance. Not very cheap place and staff could be better.
MoreNice place good atmosphere price for food and drink reasonable specially if in happy hour between 9 and 3 . Waitress asked if i went another drink just before 3 which was nice enjoyable first afternoon in Warsaw would recommend
MoreThey refuse booking a table online, saying "there will be place", whereas when you come only the worst places are free. If you come after 10 waitress refuses to "open account and suggests orders only at bar". Worst service ever.
MoreParty, caraoke, nice staff and great fun. Good tapas-like food. Possibility to rent a separated place for your own friends.
MoreGood place for beer or karaoke. Watching sports is also great here. Fair price for drinks and food, but tends to be overcrowded when football championship. Party and dj music is bad tho, you should get very drunk and desperate to party here. 😂 overall: im a returning customer, great place.
MoreOne of the best pizza in Warsaw. Very nice pub, friendly staff and great Karaoke fun!
MoreKaraoke after 8pm. If sb like singing on stage quite fine.Cheap beer during happy hours, food is ok but nothing special
MoreAnother nice place to hang out with friends but not good for a romantic dinner. Pros: price. Cons: karaoke, insanely loud.
