Zia Esterina Sorbillo - Pizza takeaway in Milan, Italy
the pizza was really good, but two waitresses treated us really unpolitely and rude. when we left the place my friend received a rude comment from the waitress. overall the place is pretty
Fresh Hand made Pizza! Was super delicious also they open till late which is a great plus! Quirky and stylish with great food. That’s all you need ! To put it simple - A gem amongst all the touristy restaurants that have great views and superficial so called “authentic Italian” - food! A super thanks to my waitress - Iride! - who was super helpful in explaining the food and great advised as to what to get!! Highly recommend!
Great panzeroti, made on the spot, without the huge line that you have in luini
It was tasty, it really was. But eventually it was eating pretty undercooked dough, and all the filling was at the bottom :(
Horrible. Ordering is super unorganized and chaotic. Ordered and waited for almost 30 minutes for an almost raw fried pizza with very little cheese on it - nothing else was in it even though I ordered the escarola one. I never say no to food and I threw it in the trash :/
Good pizza, as expected, but nothing extraordinary. A bit too pricey, but I guess you have to pay the brand and the location.Very good service though, I ordered a Margherita and the first one was a bit burnt (it was quite early during the lunch service, maybe the oven was not at the right temperature yet). They replaced it immediately, no questions asked.
Awesome pizza fritta. Well worth the wait
I wasn’t expecting such delicious flavours from fried pizza. This small place offers one of the best street foods in Milan. Prices are reasonable, 4,5€ for one fried pizza. The pizza itself was incredible, fried dough was crispy and soft, the insides were filled with cheese and tomato sauce and served in beautiful wrapping paper. The portion is quite big so you might get full after one.I truly have no complains.I definitely recommend you visiting this place.
Queue was about 30mins long on a Saturday afternoon. It’s basically a thin crust calzone fried with a small amount of pork, ham or cheese depending on what you order from the menu. For €4.50 it’s a huge portion that’s good enough for a meal, but it’s just fried dough with a small amount of stuffing so manage your expectations.
Very good, quality ingredients and the pizza itself is huge. I got the Pizza Fritta, if you can eat something very oily, this is for you. It cost 4,50 euro.
A delicious fried pizza. The simplest one is delicious, it only has pomodoro, mozzarella and pepper. In this place don’t have tables, it is food to take away or eat on the way. Quite cheap.Unfortunately my last meal in Milan was here and I didnt like it, because all my fried pizza was soggy and crumpled, as you can see in the photo. I dont know why it is but so that you are careful and always have the same consistency. And as a tourist, I would appreciate it if you put photos on your wall menu because we tourists and dont know what you sell or the difference from the other things on the menu, thats why I didnt ask for other things. I played it safe.
Just a marketing trick to cheat tourists. You see a lot of critics which sure are payed and you see a lot of people waiting outside and you think is good. The truth is that these people are there because they wait over half an hour to take their bad fried full of oil pizza.Keep away
Good. Eatable. Mozarella like rubber
funky fried pizza for €4.50, original snack near duomo :)
Worst experience. Please bear in mind these people don’t understand concept of “suitable for vegetarian” I asked the lady at the till, is it suitable for vegetarian and she said yes so I ordered one. Now because it is a small shop and I could see this guy was frying it in the same oil where other meat was being fried. I complained because I specifically mentioned my dietary requirement, same lady at till said we fry everything in the same frier, I said then I can’t eat it and left it there. Lady said I can’t refund the money sorry in a rude tone. I left but I thought at least I can warn other people who have specific dietary requirements to save their money. Avoid it, look for something else in area there are so many nice restaurants around where I ended up going.
Great lunchtime option only €4.50 family enjoyed the pizzas.
Awesome food, very nice and helpful staff. We ate two time and this restaurant during our stay in Milan and it was worth it.
Meglio della pizza fritta che ho provato a Napoli!! Assolutamente MUST TRY!!If you are visiting Milan, this is a great spot for a quick lunch and something you can’t find outside of Italy
The guy said waiting time is 10 mins, but in reality it was closer to an hour, ordered vegetarian - got with meat. Its cheap and ok, but not worth the long wait and crowds.
Just horrible and boring junk!Better to avoid this pizza fritta, it is a sad parody of street food
One of the best pizza in Italy.Service could improve a bit but so overall it was a great experience.
One of thr nicest fried pizzas in the city. They have many vegetarian options as well. The outer crust is crispy and inside is really hot. The melted cheese is amazing. They work really fast, so dont worry if there is a crowd.
Not that good. Very fried, lacking taste and staff was very rude. Its OK for a quick snack on way but dont go out of your way.
To be honest for 4€ you know you won’t get the best pizza in the world. Very oily, could have been more filled and the taste is ver basic. So I wouldn’t really recommend getting here except if you are in a big hurry or if you only have 4€ to eat. Otherwise go away !
Pizza frittata - fried pizza. As good as any I had in Naples. It’s greasy and I had a 30 minute wait to get mine. I’d probably not do it over again as it’s very basic street food and there’s so much better to be had in Milan!
Delicious fried pizza. A great on the way food. Anything fried is always a good option
Surprisingly tasty and located next to the Duomo. Nice escape if you’re feeling hungry and want a quick bite.
The restaurant is centrally located. Its a dine in with a descent selection. Its famous for its pizza. The quality of ingredients was excellent. Taste was very nice. Prices reasonable. Definitely one must visit.
Recommended by our tour guide so we gave a try. Queue were super long & chaotic. It was so so delicious! At only 3.50€! The best catch ever!
Average Margarita Pie, nothing so special, but if you are coming from outside of Italy, its a must to try.
Delicious italian aperativo. After a nice walk aroud of duomo, you can enjoy. Try it if you visit milano.
It is definitely a must try if youre visiting Milan and want to try something different and delicious.!
Located right next to Duomo, with a beautiful view on the terrace. The prices are very reasonable for Milan. We ordered 1 four cheese pizza and one with sausage and spinach. The pizzas were amazing, ordered a nice draft beer with it. The service was decent, would definitely come back again.
The que was quick and the prices are fantastic. However, the filling is really a mess from cheap ingredients. Not bad as a unit, but could be so much better.Good for quick oily snack!🍯🍯🍯
The taste is good but I can’t say excellent. Before u go,u need to consider the line cause the line is crazy..
Well its good. But the fillings are quite less compared to the batter. 80 % batter and 20% filling. Only one vegetarian option. The food was freshly prepared infront of us from scratch.
It is a super cheap alternative to McD or any other fast food if you are in some traditional italian fast food. But… although I liked the dough, the filling was lacking in quality. Now, i know for 3.50€ there isn‘t such thing as quality, but at least the salami type could have been better chosen, if i‘m honest. And the cheese tasted more like a feta or traditional cheese rather than mozzarella.
Thankfully we didnt have a crowd when we went, so the wait was only about 5 minutes or so. Take-away fried pizza as an inexpensive lunch not too far from the Duomo. There is nowhere to eat, so youll have to find a spot to stand and eat it, or we walked a few steps to find a bench in Piazza san Fedele. Good thing too because these things were piping hot - delicious, but hot and all of our toppings settled down at the bottom as I was eating it. This was made worse as the cheese was pretty wet. I really liked all of the flavors, although their selection w/out meat was just cheese. But it was pretty large & I wasnt able to eat it all and with all of the toppings at the bottom, I mostly ate the crust with sauce. I would get it again to try and eat it differently - maybe let it cool down a bit so the cheese could firm up and stay in place.
Let’s all be honest, this is just another classic Italian dish stolen from India. This is the battura bread, commonly served with channa or chola in India. With the topping is a pizza inside.... and it’s really tasty. Be careful of how hot it is when you start eating, can burn your mouth. For the vegetarians here, there isn’t a real option as all are cooked in the same fat as the meat (salami, prosciutto, pork, etc). At 3.50 euro a pizza, you can’t go wrong!
A must visit in Milan.. Classic italian street food vendor with served what can only be discribed as a deep fried pizzza with cheese and tomatoes as flavourings.Called pizza frittas the prices are very fair at around 3 to 4 euros. There will always be a que but moves very quickly! You get a ticket number and wait for it to be calles.Top tip- The guys cant speak english so learn what your ticket number sounda like when its called to listen out for it!
Very tiny place only for take away. It is open on Sundays. The panzerotti was gigantic and absolutely delicious. The food ranges from 3.50 - 5 euros. Totally worth all the money. He also added more cheese towards to end of the panzerotti which made it way more delicious!!!
A historic fried pizza near the Duomo. This specialty is a simple but tasty dish if made in a workmanlike manner ... and this small pizzeria fully meets expectations. Facing the street, it has no tables or chairs, but the most important part is the "fried pizza", a divine dish that makes us dream of Naples! Very good! (be careful though that is hot!)
Was a bit affraid of it being too fat but it was perfect. Amazing light dough, delicious filling, good size, cheap and very fun and comforting.Totally worth the calories!
A delicious little treat hidden next to Duomo. Its your normal pizza dough with tomato sauce and cheese but fried instead of baked!Priced right too at 3.5 eur.
A bite of Naples in the center of Milan. This little take-away shop proposes the tasty fried pizza. Together with the standard version, there are only a few variations, limiting the creative space to strictly follow the tradition.Indeed, the food is very savory, with the right fried texture of the dough and a filling that although not being overloading, ease the eating on the road.On the other side, the rating is strongly lowered by the service quality and the interior design.Indeed, the staff has been rude and unpleasant. Also the space is not nice looking and even though it is just a take away a better design could improve the customer experience.Very good quality/price ratio, but the 2/3 wheel prize by Gambero Rosso seems to be overrated.
It’s tasty but probably not worth the hype and the wait. Make sure to force your way to the counter and order for you and anyone else you are with. Otherwise you’ll wait forever for families and soccer teams and Noah’s ark for them to get their food, and then you get to wait for 50 other people until you get yours.
Its well worth the wait. This place is very popular, so usually there is a line for 10-20 minutes. But I highly recommend to join the crowd. They make fried calzone with few different fillings and hot they are simply delicious. Do not be fooled by crowd on the street: make your way inside to the left, pay for your order at the cash register, get your number and than go outside and wait until your number is called. They call numbers in Italian, so if you dont speak the language, just remember who was paying in front of you. There are no tables to sit at, but if you walk 20 steps, there is a small square with benches where you can sit, eat and enjoy the city life.
To be honest, I dont get the hype. 20 min to get your order, while standing outside. The panzerotti is just ok, definitely not delicious. Lacks filling and the quality of the prosciutto is low. I liked the fried dough, but not amazing. The price is good, service is grumpy. I wont be back
Great inexpensive place. Crowded with tourist.Normal is the best flavor!
Not many words are needed here: its the authentic, traditional, fatty and glorious fried neapolitan pizza, for which the queue outside is quite a guarantee. Dont forget to lick your fingers.
