Good place to get away from city and close to the natural mountains and flowers. Besides, the food here are good and get to eat fresh vegetables, and the Japanese tea house is ex excellent , make you feel like in Japan

Zhuzihu May to June is the season to visit the Hydrangea flower gardens. Some gardens require admission fee of 100 to 150. Others also sell and allow flower picking for this price..

A must visit place in Taipei city, it’s excellent view and fresh air In all seasons will bring you up all day long.

That is a beautiful attraction where I visited with my families on last month.That place is a well-known hot spot in Yangmingshan.I have a pretty pleasant time at there. My family and I really love that place,because this place have a lot of restaurants around the blossom of calla Lily during the flowering season. When I was eating delicious delicacies at the view restaurant,I feel very relaxed and cheerful. I consider that spot is a place appropriate to bring whole families to go to there. I think I will go that attraction next time when I go with my friends.

A lovely and fresh calla lily field just under Tatun vocalno mountain. Suitable for a walk, or camping with trekking Yangmingshan with friends and families :)

Zhuzihu Lake is located on the west side of Zhuzihu Station on Yangjin Road in the northern mountainous area of ​​Beitou District, Taipei City.It is a valley in Hutianli between Datun Mountain, Qixing Mountain and Xiaoguanyin Mountain. It is about 600 meters above sea level and covers Yangming Mountain.In the national park, the cool climate and the suburban geographic location have become a professional production area for high-cold vegetables and flowers. It is one of the main sources of summer vegetables in the Greater Taipei area.

Its a small and beautiful place to visit in Yangmingshan. Been here in the spring and could find Calla lillies in full bloom. Amazing scenery and a great place to soak in nature. The mountain view is nice and you could capture some wonderful photos.Its a 30 min ride by scooter from Taipei city to this place. Also, bus service is available to this place. When I visited this place during a weekend in April, it was heavy traffic getting there. So, going there by car on a weekend is not really recommended as it is difficult to find parking space also.You need to pay an entrance fees of NT$ 100 to explore the calla lily farm. There are small restaurants and shops that sell flowers and plants.

During end March to April is the calla lily flower season. I strongly recommend to go the 1st week of season which around end March unless you must choose the close garden that not allow to pick a flower. There are wet and dry land garden. Please check of the map. The transportation quite take time as many people also go there. Please spare 1 hour for delay. Trip Take MRT to Jiantan station. TAKE R5 or 1717 to Yangmingshan then hop in bus 128/131 to Zhuzihu. On the way back you can take bus 128 direct to MRT Shipai station which take around 1:30 hours.

nice scenery and good place for lilies

I come here when it is raining cats and dogs. So, it maybe affect my comment about this place. But I think this place is beautiful if it is sunny day.

I went there on Saturday, July 4, 2020 to see the hydrangea flowers unfortunately they were all dried. Although I was notified that the last day of visit at the hydrangea flowers was on Sunday, July 5th. And its expected that flowers are not that fresh anymore due to the weather is too hot. But I was not totally upset because the mountain view and blue sky are so amazing, its a wonderful experience. I took that opportunity to take snaps of the green nature and blue sky.

We came here to walk around and enjoy the nature... But it wasn’t what I expected. It’s not a big area, it’s just a big amount of gardens placed here and there, and nothing else. The owners take 100NTD per person for entering the garden. That is, you can’t explore the area, you come and just choose the garden you like and pay for taking pictures. You can go to the other place if you pay the other owner. The gardens are small, we came on Thursday and there are people on every picture. I can’t imagine what’s happening here during the weekend.My personal opinion is that it’s definitely not worth coming from far away...

Lovely place for amazing pictures.The scenery is amazing with beautiful flowers to make your day happy. But the downside is the traffic getting here and also finding a place to park your car. Parking is also expensive if you finally get one.But over all the environment and flowers are worth your visit.

The views here are breathtaking. You are basically in a valley surrounded by mountains and so many fields of peace lily flower.There really isnt much to do here other than just walk around, take pictures, and maybe have a few snacks here and there from small stalls.I personally really enjoyed it because I like walking and I needed some peace and quiet far away from the city noise. The air was refreshing, so I just walked really slow and enjoyed the beauty of the fields.

Great artsy, scenic, rural area but easily accessible by many forms of transportation. March is peak season since the flowers bloom, there are a lot of tourists.R8 and R9 and some other buses come often, but are usually packed and a little claustrophobic, especially going up and down mountain roads, but its cheap and adventurous. You can enter the flower gardens for about 50NTD and there are many vendors selling everything from foods to flowers. Awesome oasis in the mountain to check out.

Beautiful place to view water logged fields and Calla lilies. Very idyllic location. Not much else to do though. Good place for a short stop.

One of favorite villages in Yangmingshan. It sits near the mouth of, what I think is a, volcano, 小油坑. The village itself is probably situated on the former mouth of a volcano that has since collapsed inward and formed a lake/plain. The villagers formerly farmed rice but have since turned toward flowers.

Beautiful trails. We had wonderful views until clouds rolled in, but nice to experience nature this way AND so close to the city

Great place for amateur photographers to get some practice. Make sure to come here early, especially during Calla Lily and Hydrangea season in spring.🔘Be prepared for sun, wind, rain, fog, clouds and thunderstorms - ALL in the same day.🔘Recommend: wear old shoes or shoe covers to keep your shoes clean.⚠️Traffic is slow, and you will have to take and wait for the shuttle bus to get here, so be prepared NOT to stick to your time schedule. Instead, buy some local fruit and enjoy the mountain views.

The place is very heavenly beautiful. The flowers are really beautiful. The place is very instagramable. Very nice view and nice weather. The place aHas a small cafe that serves the best passionfruit tea and partner it with blueberry cheese cake. I think best time to go there is is the month of May.

Excellent simple food with great local flavor. Perfect spot to stop on the way to or from the national park.

It’s great places that should go at sunny day. I took my Japanese friend to here, and she really enjoyed here.

Zhuzihu was a very nice place! If you want to escape the suffocating heat of Taipei, it is a good place to go (it is still hot but not as much as in Taipei). The flowers are great! It is also very easy to walk around and explore. HOWEVER, the bus from Beitou to Zhuzihu is an inferno because it is so packed with people... I think that taking the taxi might be better even though I dont know about the prices. On the way down you can stop at the sulfur valley in order to get the smelly egg experience in hydrothermal environment!

: Exploring the sea of hydrangea gives you a feeling of pure bliss, it has variety of colors though you need to pay 100NTD for the entrance which is quite reasonable price.

Stunning view ! However it does not suit for wheelchair and baby stroller. Parking cost NT100 and entrance fee to Garden is NT100.

A great small village with lots of flowers. Its romantic, cute, and full of people taking pictures. I visited a little store to buy a gift and felt it was bit overpriced.

Every year, the flowers keep getting nicer and nicer. Although there is an entrance fee of 100, it is worth it. You can even pick flowers and take pictures from the other garden as well although they have separate entrance fee.Make sure to bring disposable rain boots or wear shoes you dont mind getting muddy. Youll be going around in the garden and the ground can get really wet if there is rain the night before and even just from the sprinklers.Also, make sure to put/bring sunscreen, hat/umbrella since it can get really hot up there.

In Taiwan, there are too many National parks you can go. This is one the famous National park in Taiwan. It’s located in Northern Taiwan also near Taipei. This place is beautiful!! So, I would like to recommend to have the experience of hiking or some vacation. This place has a big area....! You can enjoy the Starring views....! The fields are full with many different beautiful flowers 💐

WILL RETURNEasy access from Taipei Main Station to Zhuzhihu. Bus 260 is one of the frequent service lines. Bus 260 does not take you all the way to Zhuzhihu but its walkable distance to Zhuzhihu (10-15 minutes). Another option is s8 or s9 shuttles but they are not frequent (every 30 minutes?and always packed during peak seasons like calla lily festival. Beautiful place nonetheless.

Totally worth going. We went during the Calla Lilies festival and it was breathtaking. There is a pretty long walk between bus stops so I would suggest taking a bus (Bus No. S7 preferredto where most of the Calla Lilies farms are.

I did not know that we should pay to look closer to the flowers. If Im not mistaken its around 100 NT and you also could take some lilies to go back home. If you didnt pay, you just look around at literally a garden full of lilies and nothing you can do besides that at all....

A perfect place to soak in nature. The views are simply breathtaking especially when the callah lillies are in bloom.This place definitely gets busy during this time period so you may want to try and visit during the week if possible. This place is accessible by bus.There are local vendors along the road selling fruits, sweets, treats, and other goodies. Definitely check it out!

The best time to visit is during cold and flowering season. Fresh air and natural view.However, if your journey is rush, then u can skip this place and spend more time at Xiaoyoukeng and Qingtiangang Grassland.

Missing the flowers season. Nice stop after mountain walks. Farm style restaurants.

I did not got there during the right season. Flowers bloom in Spring but I was hoping to catch some other sceneries. However, it appears Spring draws the crowds and a lot of stores are not open when I am there in July. Many hiking trails can be found here. The bus ride on the S8 (小8bus was quite nice. The air is cool even in winter. Mountains are always breathtaking.

Guo Jia Hydrangea garden in Zhuzhis best time to visit is Spring. When the flowers are in full bloom. We went there last Summer thats why most of the flowers are dry.Entrance fee for the Hydrangea Garden is 100 NTD.©bornvoyage for the entrance picture.

Good place to see seasonal flowers

Most beautiful scenery Ive ever seen. If youre a tourist, try to fit it in your schedule. Once you reach up top- follow the crowd towards the mini resturant and walk the circular trail. Theres also a mini trail through the trees that leads you to the hydrangeas garden. If you want to get up close and personal, it costs 100NT. Honestly, its no need just pose and get the entire back ground. Just look below for pics. Clothes wise, bring a sweater, it does get humid with a small breeze since youre in a cloud.

Nice fresh air and environment, trees and flowers birds and bugs, but parking space is not easy to find there! Public transportation is recommended!

Located at Yang Ming Sham which is kind of difficult to get there if you are taking public transit, some buses only operates on holidays... And it is rather crowded but the view is nice and you can enjoy a great day there surrounded by flowers (and people)

The area was really pretty and it was a great day for a trip. Highly recommend it. We had some trouble getting a ride back to Taipei, but other than that it was really cool.

The flowers were beautiful, but it was a little overrated. It was a bit confusing to get there, very crowded, and the fields were sectioned off into areas you had to pay separately to go into. If you have extra time and want to take nice pictures, it’s not too bad of an afternoon trip from Taipei. A taxi ride there is about 40 minutes, 600NTD (~$20USD), but the taxi we took back charged a flat rate of 1000NTD (~$36USD).

Visited in March, took one hour shuttle bus from National museum, beautiful place for day trip

Though its much more commercial place compare to other places, but theyre so many good restaurant nearby this area.
