Zhong Hua in Zürich (Kreis 12)

After entering the restaurant, i feel like i am back to 80s, many old memories appeared. The food is delicious und staffs are nice. They have chinese and thai dishes. I highly recommend "Ravioli mit Krevetten"(without noodles).

Best thai food in town. If you want to find some thai food with the authentic thai taste. This is the one.

Food is always delicious here.. friendly service too.. its not my first time.. Im not a regular either but always try something different here.. this time i tried noodle with prawn ravioli.. it was so good I had to put a good review this time and maybe will eat this again .. price wise for zürich is also okay for me :)

Tried their pork & beef noodle soups, both were very tasty but alittle oily, they are also very generous with their portions! Their menu has quite a vast selection of all the Chinese/Thai dishes to satisfy your Asian cravings !!Prices are slightly cheaper than other Asian restaurants in Swiss! Average CHF23/paxLocation is quite deep in the old town and looks alittle shabby, but their food standards are quite good!

I think this is the best Asian Restaurant in all of old town!I come here every week since 5 years. Never got disappointed.Family owned businesses! No big chain behind it!You guys deserve all the support there is!

Got Pu-erh tea instead of Oolong. An egg in the rice instead of crab meat. But the food tastes good, quiet place.

The food was excellent, delivered by a very friendly and beautiful waitress. The flavours of this dish exploded in my mouth after the first bite. JUST WOW. The price-performance ratio was very good. They could easily raise the price for the quality they offer. The risk of ending up as a regular customer is very high. I will DEFINITELY come back !!

Top place for good food from Thailand!

We got chicken fried rice and hot and sour soup, it was good as was the Thai beer (they have a good selection), but I couldnt believe the prices here, maybe its par for the course in Zurich but living in NYC, what cost us over $40 would have cost $30 tops, $7 for a bowl of hot and sour soup and $20-something for fried rice was a surprise. I also disliked that a small bottle of water is $5 but also seems par for the course in Zurich. Not sure how regular people can dine in Zurich - I dont mean to pick on this particular restaurant though when fondue was even more elsewhere.

Food was super boring, just pre-cooked plain rice with soy sauce and pre cooked duck. Friendly, though.

Excellent Thai food! Thai people were eating there and staff are Thai, so was quite authentic. Bit pricey, however - Fr 27 for Pad See Ew!!! I know it’s Zürich but c’mon.

Food is pretty good and so is the service. Pricing is a little high compared to what Im used to, but that may be par for the course in Zurich.

Great spot off the main walking section of old town. We had enough cheese and needed some spice and heat and we got it. This was very authentic Thai, with many vegetarian options.

The dumpling soup is not bad but often the meat dishes do have some strange taste. But service is very nice.

Very tasty food, spicy food and non spicy food. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Prices are reasonable and portions are big. Good place to have lunch or dinner.

Somtam was good. Lemon fish was below expectation. For this price I expected something which tasts better than deep fried fast food.Friendliness could be improved too.

Food was great and they put a heat candle under your food to keep it nice and warm. Staff was friendly as well.

Delicious at a affordable price. Take away is really good and worth it. Oddly enough, the salad thats on top of the warm food makes it somehow even more delicious than the salad being served cold.

Decent chinese restaurant in Zurich. An extra star for the quantity of the served portions and also in the take-away. The staff was very friendly and also gave us some additional add-ons for our food without cost. Not reccommended for vegetarians but a paradise for meat lovers.

Decent Thai/Chinese restaurant but a little on the pricey side.

Terrible service, awful quality, do avoid. I just spent 30 CHF there and still have not eaten. They got my take-away order totally wrong, then when I noticed it and went back they claimed I must have eaten the missing noodles already. Never experienced anything quite as ridiculous as a customer. Plus the pile of food they gave me looked like it was a mix of leftovers. This place is a fraudulent disgrace and should be avoided.

This is a pretty good Chinese place when it is open...The opening times mean nothing as it is randomly closed when it should be open. If youre lucky enough to catch it being open the food is pretty good!
