Zehrs in Welland

To me this is just a higher end Loblaws. Excellent quality products but you pay the price. Not my regular grocery store but good for specialty items.

Love the Welland store. They are always cheerful especially Missy in customer service and Michelle in the pharmacy. There is a great comrodery between all the employees which is a breathe if fresh air.

Always clean and bright and expensive. There are cheaper stores, but they are always dirtier than Zehrs I guess you need to judge what level of filth you can tolerate, and shop at the relevant store.

They dont have the green chilli, the spices, 😒no indian food, I have this grocery store near me but still cant go there. 😑

Franchise food chain, has some hot ready trades-friendly meals ready to go!

A beautiful store that had exactly what I wanted.. Prices were pretty good too

I asked to clarify for a couple prices cause I was confused due to the 50% discount. When I asked a worker from bakery was not useful at all. The same a guy from the veggies section.

Missing some Diet Cranberry Ginger Ale that day, but went back and got some the next day, Thank you!

Over priced, but fresh food. Same owners as nofrills so youd expect the same products to be the same price.

Nice store. Very clean. Unfortunately prices are a bit higher than some other grocery stores. I wont do a full weeks groceries here but I definately drop in if I need just a few items.Although their hot food lacks in selection what they do have is always fresh and tastes great.

Marking up nearly expired food from 50% off to 30% off.... Seriously?. I hope people will boycott this latest cash grab and they can recover 0% of the cost.

Zehrs is my favourite grocery store. Lots of great options.

One of the best selections of chocolate bars in welland. A little pricy as expected from a higher quality store.

Huge store, lots of fresh made food and almost anything you could want.

This location is very clean, has a nice section of Joe Fresh clothing, and a little wine shop as well. There is a fairly big selection of Ready 2 Eat foods at their Ready 2 Eat counter, including great deals on chicken and fries. The prices themselves are a bit higher than other grocery stores in Welland, such as Freshco but thats just Zehrs itself and not a location thing.The checkout girls can be a bit snobby but other than that, theres no reason to not go here.

Zehrs always has great deals going on and a cpl things I really like is the fact they have a clothing section wich I never knew before untill I came into zehrs and the clothes are cute especially the kids and I also like how they offer to bag your items I dont know another store that does that an it really helps when its busy 😊

Always relatively fresh produce and meat selection. The store is never over whelmingly busy which is great!

Meat department really needs to up their game. None of the ground pork had price tags, shelves were bare, and selection was poor. Left with nothing, no butcher in sight. It was a Thursday early afternoon so I was shocked. Produce department staff was friendly, helpful, and asked if I needed anything unprompted. Teach your younger staff what customer service is please.

Usually decent prices. My family goes for the hot foods in particular. The chicken and potato wedges used to be a weekly meal for us. Super easy and affordable to feed our family of 5!

Love our local Zehrs on Niagara St.So clean, well stocked, great fresh food selections and also great meal ideas strewn about the store.They often have numerous check out lanes open, and they have a good COVID queuing system that seemingly makes checkout seem faster.Friendly staff who are always willing to help find things, or bag items.

Awful male manager works here. Doesnt help or support his staff when a crazy bad woman targetted and was aggressive, but sat in his office the whole time instead. Disgusting. Avoid this place at all costs

First of all I have to say that I love this store and always have had great customer service.. Saying that I have had a couple of things that have bothered me. The deli lady does not wear gloves when handing food. She also has terrible customer service.This has happened twice. Very gross. Another time I had a very rude cashier I thought well maybe shes having a bad day. Everybody does but then I had her again and again she was rude and seemed annoyed with me. Like I said my experience there is usually great but how they can keep staff that have terrible customer service is beyond me.

Clean. Love most of the staff. Great Convos I’ve had with some of the ladies at the cash. Always someone else there helping bag my groceries when I have a lot of stuff.

Very large, very well stocked. Deli, butcher, bakery, and fish counter. Plus a Joe Fresh to make things even more convenient.

Fruits/be veggies generally fresh. Was a good sale day. Shortages and things that wont be on the shelves for the foreseeable future are evident in this store - but only slightly less than no-name stores. As always, the staff was pleasant and helpful. Funny how stores that have points programmes really only give points for credit card use eh? Is that because interest on credit card balances outweighs cash on "ye ole barrel-head"? But I tell you, I havent points in a dogs age - yet a couple years ago my grocery bill got me all kinds of points....

Has a very large selection of foods. Nice and fresh fruits and veggies.Can be expensive but there are always non name brand options that are cheaper.Clean facility

A little pricier than other grocery stores but staff are great and the store is always very tidy and has everything you need.

Been there for Birthday Cake, called 3 times before to get info about writing greetings on the cake, could get through due to no responses from bakery department. As I was there, one of the staff from bakery department said no body there to help me to get greetings on cake and the person was not trained, it was frustrating as I had to manage something else on the top of the cake instead any writings.

Reviewing a grocery store seems a bit preposterous given the only real expectation is cleanliness, inventory and getting through the checkouts with limited hassle. I half expected that only those who had a negative experience would take the time to air their grievances.That is until I entered this location. Like other reviews of here, this location wins on cleanliness and inventory. What sets it apart though is their hot deli department. I have no idea why any of the fast food locations are in business, because this place offers your choice of a hot or cold meal for a much better price.The ladies behind the counter, specifically Judy, Sue, Marissa and Becky seem to treat their job as if they are feeding their own family. (If anyone is looking to be adopted by an experienced mother...you may want in inquire if they are excepting anymore children...age not restricted!)For me, Id pass by the local fast food joints for a healthy chicken sandwich from this deli!

Big store, clean, lots of parking and lots of variety and amenities.Really handy having a pharmacy inside too.Cant give it 5 stars because employees are few and far between. If you really needed help with something it’s hard to find someone for help.

This Zehrs location is great. It is usually always stocked; besides the one time I need a certain diaper size. Staff are friendly for the most part and the store is pretty clean. The packaged doughnuts are bomb; always fresh tasting and better than Tims.

Usually find most of what I need. Would like to request 2 things:1. Please carry the large boxes of Nabob Bold Midnight Eclipse and 2. Diet rootbeer in cans. Thank you! Store is clean, well managed, fast. People, maintain social distance!

We always order from Zehrs PC Express and they are always great at getting us what we need and there are very rarely any issues with the produce and other items that they pick for us. Yesterday, there was a system issue that caused a quite a few items on our online order to be missed. We called the store and they were so apologetic and were quick to get the rest of our order prepared for us. They went above and beyond when they gave us an entire hot chicken and a container of cooked scalloped potatoes. They also wrote us a nice card apologizing for the issue. We know system issues can be unavoidable and mistakes happen, they truly know how to make a great customer experience!

I have been using PC Express since March 2020 and I have nothing but praise for the service and safety measures. I normally wait less than five minutes for a pick up. If something isnt available I have received a phone call with a substition choice several times. For someone with food allergies this is important. Plus the staff is incredibly friendly, even though they are working their butts off.

Very clean and very organized. Staff are professional, store is following all COVID-19 protocols, when in Welland it is my preferred grocery store. I love the wide variety of products

When I arrived at Zehrs this afternoon I was a little surprised to see a lineup at the door. I just needed one item for a senior but, I figure I would just have to wait in line like every one else. Luckily, the line went quickly and we were well entertained by a staff person sterilizing the grocery carts and offering them to the shoppers. He was wearing a funny mask with a great big smile on it and he made us all laugh. A great way to enter a store! People all were wearing their masks and politely trying to stay 6 feet apart. When the kind butcher cut a roast for me I went directly to the lineup for checkout. Two very nice ladies saw that I only had the 1 item and they generously let me go to the front of the line. Im so proud of Welland during this Covid time. Most are trying their best to be diligent in taking precautions when they have to go out.

Nice decor and clean but that results in prices being a little higher than other places to pay for the decor. Variety seemed to be average for such a large store. Although part of the PC group of stores they do not price match but still accept PC points as payment.

Super clean store, fairly easy to find stuff and I love the "natural" food section, they have a lot more variety then a lot of grocery stores when it comes to milk alternative and organic products. The wine store in the front if also really useful, only have to make one trip to complete dinner

Always have a great selection of fruit and vegetables.... Best selection of fresh massive in house doughnuts but best get their early to get them.... They get grabbed up Fast... Only Downside to this location is every time I go and cash out the price scan at the check Out there is always one or multiple items. That scan different from The posted price, You really need to watch the scan and double check your receipt

This grocery store is super clean and will stocked. I love how everything here is super organized. The staff are very friendly and helpful.They have self check out and everything from a Delhi, ready to go hot foods, produce fresh flowers, gift cards, salt for driveways, windshield washer fluid to Joe fresh branded clothes.They did not have all lanes opened at 930pm on a Wednesday but thats not a big problem because it wasnt super busy. The olive section didnt have a scoop for us to scoop our fresh olives but it wasnt a bug issue because we just used another little dish. The prices are not crazy expensive but are pricier than other places but the quality and service makes much less of a compromise for me.This store is so neat, clean and has super friendly staff they still get 4 stars.The food here looks fresh and high quality. The produce section looked so fresh and organic.I will definitely be going here again to get groceries and would recommend anyone to stop by.

We hear a lot of "Zehrs is expansive! " The fact is, it is balanced. The sales are good and the vegetables and fruits are ripe, ready to eat the same day. Plus the fruits and vegetables on the sale rack, are still good items.Plus great variety of all food. A one stop shopping.No one can deny the "Joe Fresh" clothing. Great for the whole family.

I was treated very poorly by a cashier at Zehrs because of my service dog. She told me I should not have dogs in a grocery store. I explained that they are service dogs and she said it wasnt right and shed never heard of a service dog. She told me she was allergic and then whispered "its disgusting". I spoke with Steve the manager on duty who apologized, but didnt take my number. Steve said the cashiers have training on service dogs. The lady in line behind me came up to me and said the way I was treated was horrible. I was polite and tried to educate without any success. Obviously I wont be returning to Zehrs.
