Worst service ever!

This is my first time leaving a review for a restaurant; this place was just so good. I am an exchange student in Switzerland, and I ate here on my first week in the country. The prices are affordable compared to the rest of Zurich, and the waiter was kind and helpful. The fondue is delicious, and the chicken wings are great. I would definitely recommend ordering the chicken wings; they have a good flavor without being too greasy. I ordered 6 chicken wings and got 7 instead! Overall, wonderful place! I would give 6 stars if I could :)

Followed the other reviews and got the chicken wing and fondue set and it was amazing. The homely atmosphere of the bar exudes an authentic, non touristy vibes with the owner single handledly managing the bar.Its located fairly away from the main attractions in Zurich town but its merely a short walk away.The cheese fondue was fairly priced compared to the other fondue restaurants in Zurich as well. Would recommend for you to try !

An amazing restaurant with reasonable prices for the area. Their chickens wings and fondu are both delicious and its a nice cozy restaurant. Definitely a good place to go thats a little off of the beaten path.

Amazingly good fondue although its provided with bread only. The taste and aroma is perfect. The other item they are good at is the chicken wings. So crispy and nicely spiced with a great dip!

Sympathisches kleines Quartier Restaurant - der Inhaber Joseph hat eine liebenswürdige Art. Das Innerschweizer Käse Fondue ist phantastisch, das täglich wechselnde Menu mit Liebe sehr fein zubereitet. Alles relativ preiswert! Absolut empfehlenswert!

Good food and great service.

Delicious fondue and bread. Simple and tasty, it was perfect for a low key dinner on our first night in Zurich. The older fellow who runs the place was patient with our lack of German and very attentive and kind throughout our meal.

The essence of Zürich. Bankers, artists, watch dealers, some students. A place you must visit! The only downer is the toilet - takes a while to get into ;Make sure you have a pint of Weihenstephan from the oldest and longest running brewery in the world.

Great fondue, and Swiss wine

We had cheese fondue and chicken wings with mixed salad, both were very nice and tasty! The owner (who is also the chef & waiter! Superb one-man band!is very kind and attentive to every customer, we felt very welcomed and enjoyed our dinner very much. We really hope to come back for the great food and meet the great owner again soon! :)P.S. There is no English menu but this warm & cosy restaurant only serves a few specialties so it wouldn’t be difficult to make your order. You may ask the owner for drink recommendations too. While there are more customers in the restaurant please kindly be patient and wait to be served if there is only the owner. He is really nice and professional!

A friend and I went here in June 2019 for the fondue. At 25 CHF per person, it was a relative bargain compared to similar places in Zürich. Delicious cheese, very flavorful, served with plenty of fresh bread. The owner was very courteous and did not judge us for ordering fondue in the summertime, as many locals who walked past clearly did. If you sit outside eating fondue in the summer, be prepared for people to laugh at you. Were the ones laughing now though, because we got to eat delicious melted cheese! Pro tip: ordering beer and fondue may be too much food for your stomach to handle, if you have a smaller stomach like us.
