Great place to visit with your family

Good as a park for a walk, picnics and enjoying few games....BUT all the booths THERE are COPY & PASTE and their food, snacks are terribly awful moreover I got to question the cleaness of everything...the workers are sloppy and carless too.

It needs lots of improvement, more animals and facilities for visitors. I believe Baghdad deserves better.

No convenient parking lot. Very expensive place. Games and other facilities are poorly organized.

Great place for picnic

I visited the park a few years ago and it was very nice and clean but yesterday I visited it and noticed the following:1. litter is everywhere, bottles, plastic bags straws and other plastic waste is everywhere you go,2. People are so savage and dirty, they leave their litter on the grass and I saw a teenage boy threw a big piece of rock at the sleeping tiger and when I yelled at him he smirked and threw another big rock.3. the washroom is a disaster I paid 2000 iraqi dinar for 2 persons to enter and there was the shock the place is very stinky very unhealthy the floor is wet with muddy water, my 4 year old daughter couldn’t pee there.4. there is also loud noises everywhereIt’s obvious that it’s not a good place to keep animals they are living in a bad condition, I hope anyone in the animal rights organisation see my comment, I hope they return the animals to their natural habitats because they don’t deserve such treatment.

One of the beautiful places in Baghdad. I recommend visiting it, and the view at night is more beautiful

the zoo; ahh yes sight to behold.they a very depressed looking lion, god help that poor fella. he been through alot.

Great place,very cheap 1000 dinar , see lions and many tiger, big bird . Friendly and many families enjoying weather

Huge park with plenty of accommodation.The animal cages are not maintained well and few cages are empty.

Same zoo from my childhood but less animals, same animals facility sense 35 years old no progress but getting worse.

The zoo inside Al-Zawra Park overlooks a lake with boats for enjoyment and contains childrens playgrounds.

They need a lot of maintenance to doThis park probably haven’t changed a bit since 1991 , and the restaurant system there is very poor i don’t know how hard is it to let companies invest there like superstar,ice pack , Chester’s ... etc , i have to wait roughly 30 minutes to get a decent meal , and the way to get to the place is very jammed and crowded you would have to wait at least 20 minutes to get through the entrance line

Poor animals need lots of feeding and taking care of.The meat eating bear was eating bread and lettuce ..

Many animals are there including tigers, lions, hawks, deers and migrant birds.The smell feels stinky in some places.

The animals are tired and in a bad conditions the smell of the cages are stinkyAnd the animals are sick.

Lacking in health care for the animals and thier meals

Totally recommend very fun 4 starters for lack of public bathrooms

Really nice place with large area of gardens and animal zoo and a lot of free kids games. Enternce cost only 1000 ID per person.

There is all kinds of animals from lions crocodiles to the the expensive pets like parrots and rare monkeys and gorillas also there is a section of birds you can find literally the most lovely birds there in all colors and shapes.The best part is that there is a parking lot which costs about 2$ (3000 IQD)and the zoo entry fee is around 20¢ (500 IQDper person although you should pay for alzwraa entry which is around 50¢ (1000 IQDper person

U can have great time with friends and family.Watching the animals kinda funny .and youll know little bit of info. About each kind of animal .

Beautiful place, nice zoo

Its good to have such a wonderful place in the city of Baghdad. Kids had a great time. Everything is available but needs to be pushed up a bit.
