Zara in Mestre

People here should learn how to be more polite to customers.

Zara- fast fashion and busy store. I picked up a nice black sweater with 3/4 zip and polo type collar for $45. Very useful as I forgot to bring a warm sweater for our cruise.

Traveled to Europe from Los Angeles. Purchased a pair of pants from the store in Paris and wanted to exchange them for a different size in Venice with all the tags and full receipt. Cashier was exceptionally rude and wouldn’t do the exchange because I bought them out of the country. In addition to that, cashier forgot to scan one of my purchases in which the security tag was still left on. When I went back to the register she stated I never purchased it and that I would have to pay again. Truly embarrassing considering I purchased 6 other items and somehow i didn’t pay for one shirt. Never apologized for wasting my time or for the mistake. If you want a pleasant experience and are traveling in Europe, go to the store in Champ de Elysee.

August 14,2022: Horrible and disrespectful customer service at the checkout by manager and two sales women. Laughing and talking about us in Italian. I said Mal Polie meaning very impolite in French and they kept sarcastically laughing when we were trying to make a purchase. Calling corporate Zara to ensure my grievance for today is taken seriously and doing a written grievance. US Zara is the best customer service. All this tourism money and the rudeness unacceptable. Read all the negative reviews about the rudeness.

Zara, it just is. Staff, it is said, are unhelpful, and are barely able to conceal their contempt for patrons. I think this is a fair representation of my experience in this shop.

Yes a Zara in Venice ! Cute store on 3 levels including mens on 3rd. Same clothes as in UK nothing much different apart from the exchange rate which was good when I was there. Its right next door to Hard Rock Cafe 🙂

Had a horrible experience today. I had asked one of the girls working in the fitting room if she could hold aside my things while I got a pair of shorts in another size and she said yes. They put everything back which I understand was a mistake but no one apologized to me, they just said yeah you’re just gonna have to look for everything again. As soon as I left they all started laughing.That’s just not a way to treat a customer or another human. They wasted 30 minutes of my time looking for clothes again and if I didn’t need them I would’ve left.I told the manager at the desk about what happened and she didn’t apologize either just kinda gave me a look like “too bad” and didn’t care at all. I even said it sounds like you don’t care that I was treated disrespectfully and she didn’t say anything just kept checking other people out.Absolutely unacceptable and so incredibly rude.

Visited this store on a trip the Venice and the staff were the most unhelpful and rude people I’ve come across in retail.

Really nice store. Clean and well laid out. Good selection. As per the new normal post C-19, masks must be worn and you must be fully vaccinated to go in. They will check.

The building is spatious and new, extremely rare thing in Venice. However, Zaras cloths are not ethical nor sustainable. I suggest to visit the many thrift and charity shops around Venice. They are often extremely cheap and youll always find a good piece

The security person asked me to stand up from my seat and asked me not to sit on the stairs. Strangely enough, a bunch of other people were sitting on the same stairs and he didn’t tell them anything - perhaps because he was too busy playing with his smartphone on duty?

Racist staff and store. I should have read reviews before coming here. My family and I were on a 2 week vacation to Italy. Due to the extreme heat all of my dresses were getting pretty sweaty and they are dry clean only, so I decided to stop by Zara to buy some additional clothing to get me through the rest of my trip since I know this store has cheap prices.As soon as my husband, daughter, and I entered the store a security guard that was not there before posted himself by the entrance. While I was walking through the store looking at clothing, someone was following me almost the entire time. When I checked out, the sales associate asked if I had a pin number for my card. I said that I did not because it was a credit card, so then she angrily asked to see my passport or id. I didnt have either, but I did have color copy of my passport that I carry in my wallet and I showed that to her.The whole time I was in Italy me and my family were treated kindly by everyone. No other clothing store that we shopped in asked to see our id while we were purchasing anything or followed us around while we looked at items. On the contrary the sales associates were excited to see us and couldnt wait to tell us about any deals or specials they had going on for the day.I really needed the clothing, so I just went ahead and still purchased the 3 outfits. DO NOT GO HERE! I know I wont if I am in Venice again. Worst experience of my entire trip.

It is situated at a tourist spot. A lot of people in the shop when we visited. As far as products are concerned,there is nothing special about this storw. In fact, I would venture to say that I would prefer to shop at other Zara stores.

I hope it is possible to give negative star.... my wife was in the fitting room trying some dress, and I was waiting outside sitting on the stair. Then the security came all the way from the front gate and asked me to stand up. I guess that is because I was not spending money in the store but was enjoying the valuable air conditioning provided by them... I have nothing to say. I have never had similar experience in any Zara in any country except Italy. Well done!! This is what I said to the guard when I stepped out of the store! Maybe I should not blame the guard since he was just following the store policy.Good luck with your future business, Zara!

Three floors shop, just behind San Marco

Probably the worst Zara experience Ive had.This happened at 5:30pm on June 10th 2019.As I walked in the store with my partner, a man was walking out of the store at the same time and the alarms at the door went off. The security guard who was working at the time called us over to him and escorted us to walk through the alarm again.We told him we just entered the store so how could we take anything from Zara, he later mentioned that he saw us just enter as well.Of course as we walked through the barriers again no alarm went off as we hadnt been in the store for more than a second. Rather than apologise he just gestured his hands for us to go away, which infuriated me.Why did he not go after the 1 person who left the store as we entered?Clearly this store needs to reevaluate who they hire for loss prevention because theyre apparently hiring someone who cant do their job properly.TL;DR: Security guard is terrible, shop somewhere better nearby like hugo boss or h&n

Been to various Zara stores around EUR and find this one of the best,well stocked and clean and tidy!!!

Bit small and only 1 till was open on 3 floors on a sat

Walking through Venice, not far from Piazza San Marco, where the largest parking lot of gondolas is located, you will also see the 4-storey building of Zara. If you are lucky, you can even buy something for yourself. I was so unlucky :)

Complete lack of basic manners and knowledge of the staff, rude manager breaking the policies of the company.

The store stands in an amazing location, a few meters behind St. Marks square, near a Hard Rock café and in front of a large canal with many gondolas. The store itself is fairly large with several stories, large changerooms and lots of different items of clothing to choose from. The clothes themselves are not bad but I havent seen anything I really liked which is strange as Ive been to other Zara shops where Ive always found something nice. The building looks like it has been recently renovated.

Very beautiful store with a lovely selection of clothing. Cashier and staff were rude. I almost got mowed over by a staff member putting clothing away. She didnt even bother to say excuse me or Im sorry.

Good place to pop in for some quick affordable fashion in the heart of venice. Three floors of the usual zara fair with a bit of an italian slant. Helpful if youve forgotten holiday clothing!

Satisfied my wifes desires for retail therapy and she got some great bargains saving considerably on uk prices. Personally i was more entertained by people watching the gondolas outside and two cormorants catching fish.😁
