Zambrero Remarkables Park in Queenstown

Finally decided to try Zambreros! I arrived around 2pm and unfortunately there was a bit of a line and only one staff member was there to take orders. I didn’t mind waiting so it was fine. The lady gave me a great explanation to how it works and great recommendations. She also apologised for being so understaffed which isn’t her fault anyway. My burrito was delicious!! I am vegan and it’s always hard to find some good vegan options around Queenstown but I highly recommend coming here! It was very filling too.

Hadn’t been to this place before and the young lady was very helpful in suggesting what to get and I very much enjoyed the food I had ordered will definitely be back!

Normally have a great feed here and great service but not today .4 of us called in and we all got very small servings. Our bowls about half full ,the wraps very thin.So disappointing, they will need to change or loss their clients.Sad because I always took people here.

Great takeaway spot when youre in the mood for Mexican. They have great flavors and healthy options. I usually grab a large burrito which is super filling and under $20 so a steal. Only thing is it can be a bit tricky to find as its not clearly visible from the road, its tucked in the corner of frankton, in the same location as snap fitness.

Walked into Zambrero on Tuesday evening and saw two disinterested staff members, neither of them were in a rush to serve me. I was told that there were no large tortillas left, but they would put the “same amount” of filling in a small tortilla. Not ideal but fair enough, until I heard they would charge me the price of a large! Not sure why I should be paying extra for an inconvenience and a smaller burrito? No apology, just attitude, so I walked out in the end. The old staff were way better.

Had a couple of good experiences at Zambrero, however, it’s hit and miss. The burritos are getting smaller and smaller. They have small and large options but multiple times when ordering a classic large they fill it up to a small size and they still charge for a large. If you don’t fill it up to a large size, then don’t charge for a large. The sizes are clearly shown on the counter.We had 2 burritos for $27 but had to go get more food.Would love to support Zambrero as we love the food but don’t like being ripped one.

Paid full price for 2 quesadillas, only received one...Cold fillings.No wonder Odelay is always packed while Zambrero is always empty huh?

Food here is great. It’s similar to Chipotle in the states. Ordered an IQ bowl and it was really tasty. Both employees working there were great. The guy who helped me out I believe is newer and actually took an interest in my life—something very uncommon in America. Would definitely swing by again!

I cant stop eating here. The food is so good. Vegetarian and vegan options and more. Not a bad thing on the menu. The social and environmental focus is exactly the ethos the world needs.Love it!

Unfortunately this review is not pleasant and it isn’t even about the food the food is amazing however your team that was on tonight 23/1/2020 thoroughly messed up. As a paying customer getting food delivered you would except good service. I placed an order with and one item was missing off the order so I called the store to advise them. The sad part about this is the phone mannerism of the person (he refused to give his name after askingwas unprofessional not only did he repeat back to me incorrect details which was causing frustration about the missed item off the order he became annoyed that I asked for his name as I felt the manager of the store should know in how your paying customers are being spoken too it becomes VERY frustrating when your staff aren’t really listening to anything I was trying to explain. It gets to the point when I asked for the manager and all I hear is him saying “how do I hang up” me thinking ARE YOU SERIOUS he’s trying to hang up because I’m annoyed at him not actually listening to what I was trying to explain! Someone else comes on the phone same thing refusal of names I ask for the owner and managers name after several asks they finally say it’s Ash! Great thank you now my missing item of the order well guess what I now had to go collect it which I don’t believe I should not have had to do AFTER I paid for delivery! I end up going in and once again refusal of names so I take pictures so I can then advise the manager of whom I was dealing with and right after I walk out HE CHASES ME DOWN THE CARPARK TO TAKE MY PICTURE WHEN IF HE REALLY NEEDED MY DETAILS THEY ARE ON THE ORDER I PLACED! Not only do I find this absolutely disgusting he then yells at me down the car park TURN AROUND SHOW ME YOUR FACE at this point I’m calling the cops to which when I say if you don’t stop following me I will call the cops a bunch of people in the carpark caught the attention it was causing which is the reason he finally left me alone what a NIGHTMARE! This all could have been resolved had your staff done their job properly and actually even after missing the order and is trying to explain that on the phone - they could have dealt with rectifying the situation by actually LISTENING because of this experience it’s safe to say that Taco Medic will now be my go to Mexican place moving forward which is an absolutely shame as I enjoyed your food sadly not the service from these 2 individuals

We had a vegetarian burrito. And they made it extra good with crumbled corn chips. Fresh ingredients. Really friendly staff !Would definetly go there for a quick and yet good lunch.

Pretty darn good. Good size burrito, does the job for sure. Just nickpicky: meat has a lot of water goin on and seasoning is a little off thats why I didnt 5 star. Would totally do it again.

Friendly staff but a little overpriced for the portion size of the burrito bowl. Also was surprised when we were asked if we wanted sour cream for an additional .50 cents. Most places would offer this complimentary. We did however appreciate that this restaurant donates to a good cause for every meal purchased.

Our go to place for fresh, fast and tasty food. You dont often get those in the same sentence but Zambrero delivers. (And they do deliver as well through "Food on Q"). And as its a build-your-own style you can leave out what you dont like.We will be back again.

Best burritios on town hands down!! Made to order subway sandwich style get just what you want for your Mexican food craving. Always quiet as they have a rather isolated location so unlike the rest of Queenstown parking is a breeze and there is never a cue. Staff are always friendly and polite great little place well worth the drive if you have that craving.

Could this be the friendliest food place in Queenstown? You could tell that those guys loved their jobs, they had us smiling the whole time and we had a delicious meal. Highly reccomended.

Delicious food for some of the best prices in Queenstown. The burritos have great flavor and the sauces are very tasty. The pork burrito is my favorite with chipotle and garlic sauce. The staff is super friendly and helpful. One of our favorite places in Queenstown!

Got discounts through grab one. Friendly polite staff helped us navigate their (subway likeordering process. No issues with hygiene like previous reviewer mentioned. Both servers put on fresh gloves. Quiet on a Wednesday night. Love how Zambreros donates a meal to those in need for every burrito sold !
