Zahr El Laymoun in Sharjah

Good lebanese restaurant Im the heart of Dubai mall. The food is good and different here, the chef has special touches to all normal dishes made. I like the presentation and the service . Shisha available as well yet better when weather is good to be seated outdoors. Unfortunately all they miss is a good view to the fountain , else this would have been super.

Unfortunately was very bad experience, food portion is too small, no value for money.I believe the place was better cause I used to hear good feedback about it but now its the worst Lebanese restaurant Ive tried in dubai so far

This place used to be much much more better! The food portions ridiculously small! We got a table, and on the way to it, the manager of the resturant gave it to someone else!!! Which was very annoying! We ordered a lot of appetizers and they serve basket that has three fresh bread and old bread in plastic bag! Over all, they embarrassed me in front of my guests and would never step in there again! It’s a shame they have that location, could’ve been managed better with another franchise!

Today I have brought my family members to Zahr El laymoun restaurant with very high hopes that I will impress my guests who came all the way from Canada.We started by asking the waiter if the appetizers were a sharable portion and he said yes so we decided to go ahead with a fatoush pomegranate salad and a spicy grilled potatoes with a family size BBQ combo platter.When the food arrived we were shocked by the size of the portions that salad would not even be enough for 1 person, we decided not to make any comments yet until we started tasting the food.The Fatoush was lacking the taste of the pomegranate, the potatoes were cold but tasted nice, So we asked to speak with the manager and a supervisor named Ali showed up to the table and we shared our opinion politely hoping things can be fixed and he showed good manners, apologized and took the salad bowl with him, a few minutes later he came back with the salad and added some pomegranate to it. We thanked him and we were looking forward for that BBQ platter because by that time we are literally starving we have been waiting for about 30 minutes.But an even bigger disappointment was coming our way, The WORST BBQ plate I have ever tasted in my life, the chicken was over cooked, dry and had no taste at all. The kafta and the lamb tekka were below average, cold and tasted old.I walked up to the manager and I asked if I can take a few minutes of his time and told him that the BBQ plate was a huge disappointment and I am so surprised because I have tried their food at other locations before and it was pleasant but at this point, I was just shocked and very embarrassed in front of my guests whom I have promised the best food,Keep in mind that this entire time everyone at the table was very disappointed and we took less than 3 bites of each plate.One of my guests had ordered a chicken shawarma platter, which we hoped would be the redemption of this evening, but unfortunately it made everything even worse, the chicken tasted like an overcooked dry sand.At this point I was done with this place and walked up to the manager again and told him that we will be leaving and we can pay for the water and the couple bites we took of each plate because the food was just sitting there untouched, he came back to the table with a bill of a 100 AED . As a regular customer, bringing in visitors to this restaurant specifically as a high recommendation, it is highly disappointing and embarrassing in terms of quality but mostly the customer service we received was just so degrading. I will definitely be sharing this with others, to make sure your reputation is viewed as low and unworthy as the service

Nice place to sit and have coffee, but food quantity too small comparing with the price, Shawarma not fresh, prices in general over

I used to come frequently to this place, but unfortunately the quality dropped significantly. We ordered shawrma and the taste of meat was indeed forzen . The hot potato was Signtature back days now is below average. The shisha become very bad . They changed the Lebanese shisha to cheap type does not worth the money.

I gave it a two star just for the sake of the perfectly delicious Lebanese food, however, the staff is very incompetent, unfriendly and rude, especially the Egyptian hostess who was working last night who asked us to transfer from our seating arrangement two times whilst having our dinner claiming there was a reservation and they needed extra tables, as well as the manager who was present too. Will not be visiting again, it was an unenjoyable and annoying experience.

We visited the restaurant during ramadan and tried iftar menu.Everything was amazing, from food quality to super helpful staff and location. Strongly recommended.

Me and a friend have been guests in this restaurant on Monday for the first time - and since we loved the service and food sooo much here, it turns out to be our favorite restaurant in Dubai! A big, big thank you to Asmar (the Lebanese guywho always had a smile on his face, with whom we had great talks with & who is definitely one of the reasons that made our time in the restaurant (as well as in Dubaiso special!

Great view with good food.The outdoor seating in the water extension with the springy weather is very beautiful.The restaurant has a partial view to the dubai mall fountain and full view of Burj Khalifa.Prices are fair.Food quantity is very good.We ordered chicken shawarma plate , mixed beef and chicken shawarma plate and Lebanese sausage (Makanekas an appetizer.The Makanek was very tasty.The shawarma was good but not great.The waiters are fast but they are few for the number of tables in the restaurant.I had to ask for disposable cutlery because when we arrived there were flies on the normal ones. Also, the the cutlery are very old and full of scratches, they have to renew it.Sure I will come back to try more dishes.🎁They have Entertainer.

Best view of the world’s famous Burj khalifa. I went there and had a great time, the food was great and the service was fast. Thanks to our waiter Mr. Ron who serve as that time he was so jolly, and he helps us with our food. Its a must try restaurant, surely I will come again. 😊😊 kudos great service..

The restaurant is well located, the prices are not excessive but the staff is very incompetent and not at all commercial.We arrived at 11.45pm to have a drink, the girl who placed us there told us 5 times in a row that the restaurant closes at 1am, no smiles from the waitress who was quite unfriendly.Our drinks arrived and the waiter asked us to pay, it was 12.13amBad experience what a shame

Look out for Hamza! He was absolutely hilarious when he served us. Food was presented well and delicious. Sitting outside is a bonus. You get a partial view on the Burj khalifa and the fountain show. Definitely recommend.

Delicious food in a very busy touristic area opposite to Dubai Mall and Burj Khalifa. From the vast terrace you can have a partial view on Burj Khalifa, but the food is worth sitting down even without any view. Service is nice with many suggestions and the lemonades are big and tasty.

I like thier services .. and really good atmosphere to relax ..They have Hooka for who is interested..

Do not come to this place. They say they are a different company not to honor the discount but it seems to me the name of the restaurant is the same. Repeat didn’t take any responsibility for the mistake and we ended up paying more for an average, overpriced Lebanese restaurant in Dubai. Portion of meat small and expensive. Way to ruin our lunch.

This is a lovely restaurant with amazing views. Their cuisine is primarily Arabic but you can also find some continental dishes.Although its located in prime toursitc area of Dubai, their prices are actually quite reasonable given the location. The food quality is first class and I loved their soups.Definitely a place to visit, if youre looking for good food and amazing views

Wonderful location, beautiful view of the Dubai fountain but what happened to the food? Sharwama platter that had nothing to do with Sharwama. The staff were so attractive and helpful but the food was really really disappointing. Looked weird and tasted even worse. My friend seemed to like her meal. Coupled with the this weather, we would not have bothered if we sat outside the humidity and eat good food. But unfortunately I personally will not be visiting that place.

The best Lebanese food in dubai with a twist, loved every dish and love the vibes and the music, the seating in winter outside is magical facing the fountains and dubai mall, highly recommended

The food here was great, and conveniently located to seeing the dubai fountain and accessing the mall. Definitely park nearby because you can validate your ticket at the entrance. I wish I could add videos to show the food but follow my IG/FB @officialsparkoftravel to find them!

Gotta try this restaurant for their Authentic Lebanese flavours. We had the shawarma and grilled lamb rolls. The location is brilliant and food is decent too.

Second time around visiting this place. Sat outside and enjoyed the view and the breeze. The food was good and even more so the Kebabs, we had a mix platter and jumbo shrimp with rice. Was very filling for 2 people and definitely recommended. But I dont think I would come back a second time as nothing stuck out as exception, including their service.

Unfortunately it was not to our expectations. The kibeh was ok at best the humus and bread was nice . However the mains was a big disappointment. I love shawarma but this poor at best. Unfortunately I won’t be returning.

Wonderful!!!! The Lebanese food was DELICIOUS and the the service great!! What made the evening even more memorable is that we sat on the jetty overlooking the Burj Khalifa light up and the dancing fountains. It is also very conveniently situated next to the Souk Al Bahar.

Food is decent but the view and the ambience is amazing

I had my breakfast here!! It’s so yummy! Especially the shakshuka was so perfect so yummy I like it. The bread they served was fresh and hot. I will come again to have my breakfast before I go to Dubai Mall. The service was professionally and friendly. Good prices. Nice atmosphere 🥰👌🏼

Good place to visit, nice shisha, bad view, nice food, last time was way better, the portions are not enough, i hope things get better next time.

We tried this Lebanese restaurant at Dubai Mall because we could Seat outdoor and have view to Burj Khalifa.You have a good view of Burj Khalifa, and you can see some of the Fountain show behind a bridge front of you.We did choose each a grilled mix menu. When you did read the menu, it did say many things, but apperently half of plate was just garnish.Three small pieces shish kebabs and hummus which tasted good, but the rest was useless to me. E.g. the salat on the plate was made of parsley and oniens.We also tried there Kunafa, which was dissapointed. The sugar syrup was in a cup where you should put it on self, and no topping with pistaschios instead garnish with a slice of orange. Makes no sense.The good view is the best part of this place, otherwise the stars would have been lower. You apperently pay for the view and little food and a lot of garnish.

This restaurant gives you straight view of The BURJ KJALIFA and the fountain arout it you can see the fountain show while eating your food. Its been beautiful experience

Very lovely restaurant. I came with some friends whom were visiting for the holidays and this was a great choice:)the food was fresh and flavorful:and the ambience was really nice since it has a great view of the Dubai fountain displays and music:we all really enjoyed our experience:))

Loved food .. great ambience .. with sheesha smoking as well as non smoking zones for family with kids.. restaurant is located right in front of the Dubai mall over looking the fountains and has a great ambience in the outdoor section. Some of the must try food dishes are .. chicken skewers, beiruti hummus, mint yogurt, fatoush salad and many more..

Tasty varieties of well presented plates. Portions are medium minus especially to its values. Its location is quite good plus good hookah.

Perfect location alienated from the mall caos, specially if you don’t care about the fountain like me. Food was delicious, bur portions are super big, so if you go alone like me be ready to take food home. Sisha was amazing, I recommend the house special shisha. A little overpriced.

If you walk across the bridge from Dubai mall you will find this cozy restaurant.The food is simply deliciousThe staffs are so nice and smileyYou can go to restaurants terrace and see the fountain show which is also amazing.

Great food. Authentic! Comfortable seats. Beautiful view of the dancing fountains. Its a must-do when in Dubai Mall.

Great food and Shisha. The service is very friendly and the outdoor seating is nice. At night you can see the fountains if you have a seating with a view. The waiters are always there to help. The food portions are generous. They also have seating in the water which is lovely if you’re with someone special. The Lebanese food they serve is as good as what you would find in Lebanon.

The food, service, hookah and the view deserve 5 stars here! I had the tabouleh, hummos, mixed kebab plate l, Lebanese coffee and all tasted delicious. Both their house hookah flavor and the go to double Apple were tasty. Be aware that the food comes out fast. If you sit outside you can watch the fountain show every half hour and the light show on the Burn Khalifa as well!

Excellent Lebanese food - I will return. The platform on the water is cute and away from the noise of Shouk al Bahar.Good shisha as well.

The service was impeccable and so was the shisha. Zahr El Laymoun is one of the best Lebanese restaurants in Dubai and I’m putting it on my must try places!

I ordered a beetroot salad: It came with this gigantic bowl of green leaves. I guess it was 1 small beetroot divided in 4 pieces, 3 walnuts and 2 rocket leaves. I Ordered for Kebe and hear come à reheated frozen one. The entire thing was over priced I guess because of the view complemented with the flies. You are forced to eat fast because of that. Unless you are there for the pictures and good table with a view I suggest that you visit only after dark no flies. You can have a better deal from other restaurants in the area.

One of the best places to sit next to Dubai mal enjoy good Lebanese food, good shisha quality and good service, staff is friendly and helpful.
