Beautiful model of the city of Zagreb, placed on a square base of about 5*5 meters, and a height of 50 cm.Located very close to the Cathedral.It is very useful to have a general view of the city, with relief (something that cannot be appreciated in the maps).It can be used to plan routes to visit the most important monuments.

Its very good replica of the old city with attention to details, Its a shame there is no nearby info board that lists the various facts. The only way to get the details is by listening to tour guides explaining to their groups.

Who am I to argue with the artistic choices of academic sculptors, right? Theyve forgotten more about the aesthetics than Ill ever know, right? In this case the "forgotten" part is pretty literal. The dark matte finish of this bronze city model makes it extremely lifeless and joyless. Im not sure thats the best representation of a living and quite colourful city. Were not dead yet, you know! The author must not be particularly fond of the subject hes been tasked with, I guess. Neither is the person who comissioned him. Not only its depressing to look at it, its hard to tell buildings apart and even when you do theres not much to admire because the level of detail is low, so its useless as well. I wont give it a negative mark, though, because I always get a kick out of seeing the tourists gathering around it like its the second coming or something.
