Main gay place in Patong, non-stop drag performance. Staff is friendly, hope its more crowded in the season (unlike August).

Beautifully put up shows. The performers are very professional. Costumes are superb. Drinks are affordable and the hosts are very friendly.

After coming from Ram Bar this was quite disapointing. The show is average, and it is impossible to stay at the bar. They come every 2 minutes asking if you want more drinks, even when your drink is full and you tell them 4 times "im ok". Its not a very welcoming place.

Very weak show and obnoxious waiters trying to force you to buy them a drink.

Fun place, super friendly staff, moderate prices but supper weak drinks. Have you heard of Margarita without alcohol? 😅

Great show, but the drinks are cheaper in the bar across the road where you can still enjoy the show.

The Zig and Zag clubs are open in an outdoor version. The street between them is used as a stage for the show at around 9pm. The performance I saw was mostly done by drags with lipsinging. Quite loud and not really glamerous. Drink prices were ok...beer was 80 thb

I love the shows and performers at Zag. However, they do have staff issues and instead of dealing with it, I sit directly across the lane and enjoy the show from the bar across the street.I have never had a bad time at Zag; and if you say no to the money boys, 99% of the time they appreciate the notice of non-interest and pursue other likely customers.If you’re visiting Patong, I highly recommend watching a show at Zag.. then stick around for dancing afterwards.Get your drinks across the street or next door. 😅

Unfortunately the staff are very rude and do not give you change when you order drinks.I had to chase up the staff 2 times for my change after buying drinks from the floor staff. Very angry .

This place is ok. The drag shows are fun, the drink prices are reasonable. If your coming from Bangkok and thinking its like DreamBoys, its not. Totally different. The waiting staff are very over the top, very flamboyant. But friendly enough. However, like other comments, I can see them being rude, if they wanted to be. When in the toilets if you wash your hands, expect a full back crack. This was fun. But, you will need to pay. Even without knowing about it. This place is more of the "straight" female crowd, who want to go out into gay bars. You can see even when the men carousel happens, theyre interested in the girls. Its fun, its worth a visit. Just dont expect a 5 star service, you need to pay for that. It is Thailand after all.

Its good from about mid night on. They go overboard with the shows and have too many. Westerners just want to drink and mingle not watch 300000000 shows. Turn it into a bar/ club again 🙌

Worst place to be. Waiters are rude. Service is bad. Very keen im to buy a drink. Show is super bad. Visit only fir expensive. Dont worth to come again !!!.

Sad to say that the whole Paradise precinct has had its day. It now feels like a storage area for the hotel, crumbling concrete, peeling paint and drabness dominates the day and even the lights of the night cant hide the neglect of the area. Once a favourite place to dance and see shows the boat bar has moved across the street but struggle desperately as the crowds are focussed on the Zag bar. The scene in Phuket appears to be lost. Sad.

Very nice club, GREAT shows and so cute waiters, I recommend it 200%. If I come back to phuket, I will visit the bar again.

very rude people... today on 28 July 2019 I just went to bathroom at zag club.. the guy started to do some so called massage when I was washing my hands without me asking to do it.. then asked for 100 baht for massage!!!I ignored him and he started to swearing.. very shocking..I suggest the club manager to be more careful about hiring staff or they will lose customers and get bad reviewsI will never go to the this place unless I want to be treated same way again just for peeing

Nice music and the staffs are generally friendly. However it’s tailored to tourists (ie particular womenwho want a “lgbt experience” but not really a place for lgbt people to enjoy. Boring drag shows all night and no dancing space. I respect the drag and trans cultures but people need to understand the differences between trans and gays. Not a place to enjoy and to make friends, but just a venue for commercial drag show that pretends to be a gay bar. Staffs also only attentive to those who pay a lot to book a table. Waste of time.

Not good place, I liked this club but the dancer money boy who decided to throw a drink on me as said no to another drink. He is a money boy he is not a dancer he gets his xxxx out..zag bar is no good. To be honest to have drink chucked on me is not good

This was the worst experience I had in Phuket, its the kind of place where people try to take advantage of tourists, I hurt my two legs on a glass table with about 2 feets tall when leaving the washroom, the interesting and that the table had a tag worth 650bath if you break it, but why leave the glass table on the way out of the washroom if they know they can hurt someone? because it is also the opportunity to make someone pay for it. the reason for having the table have the price and in case of being broken and knowing that it is probably broken several times, would not it be easier to change the place table or have a table made with some stronger material ? and after breaking the table when I left the wathroom they did not want to know how I was, my legs were bleeding and they only asked me for the money that was described in one tag in the table.the security guy just pulled me by the arm and demanded that payment be made, I was willing to pay but I expected to be treated with respect, they never questioned me as I was, for sure my bleeding legs should come first.

Drinks good, waiters a lot of fun and a good show. Watched the indoor show. Younger drags seemed to be more energized than the older ones.

Fantastic club. Music is good and shows also. The average price for drinks is 150B(~4usd). Perfect place for partying and have fun

Overall an ok place. But Be careful of the staff cheating you. If word gets out, I dont think people will visit anymore

Club is good nice shows no room for dancing the go go boys will try to get you to buy them drinks which the bar sells at inflated prices the boys get tickets which they get back 100 bhat every drink you purchase most common is tequila which is only half a shot glass or water sometimes so they don’t get drunk .Have fun if you want but can be an expensive night if buying boys drinks $$$$$

The music was great. They should cut down these drag shows (why watching fake women?and make the go-go show more frequent and longer. Drinks were fine. One of the waiters was very rude. He forced me to tip right away. I told him I would tip him once my friend be back in a minute. So he waited next to me with an unfriendly face and begged for tips. Eventually I tipped him 10% only then he was willing to leave.

Good music . But less populated than illusion club

Largest bar on the Gay strip.. shows are great.. music is great.. prices reasonable and mainly when you are sitting alone it doesnt mean that you want to be pestered.. they leave you too it yet the other bars think that you NEED company lol.. only shame is that between cabaret shows the music is banging.. there should be a separate space for shows and dancing. Prices about are slightly dearer than the bars opposite .. but worth it.

Amazing shows! The drag performers were funny and talented. The go go boys were hunky but they cannot dance. No entrance free and the drinks are cheap. Shows start at 11:30 in the road before everyone going in and thats also when it gets crowded.

Worth to go there to see show around 10 pm.

Still a good club (revisiting for the 2nd yearbut the performances seem a little lacklustre compared to last year. The club has obviously expanded and the stage has been through a redesign. The drinks are very reasonably priced; 3 Chang beers for 200 baht before 10.30pm and 5 Chang beers for 500 baht.

The venue itself was good and so were the performers, however having been to these shows before I was disappointed in the choice of songs, I dont think anyone in the audience knew most of the songs so the crowd wasnt as engaged or excited. Had it been more popular songs everyone would sing a long and have more fun.

Really great bar to chill, party and meet new friends... You have the choice to join the party inside or to chill outside... They also offer a variety of shows; starting with the outdoor dance craze at Soi Paradise then continued with the indoor cabaret show and is concluded every hour with a strip show of the Zag Angelos... I first knew about this Club during my internship 4 years ago.. It is one of the reasons why I came back to Thailand... Been here now for a year and I always visit when I have spare time... I recommend this place cause the staffs treat you as family and the owner is so kind... Just an amazing man... And the best part when you get drunk here they take care of you... not take advantage of your weakness.... Make sure to put it on your list of Must Visits!!! Straight or LGBTQ Im sure youll enjoy it here...

Lovely ambience on the gay strip. Regular shows, commercial but fun anyway.

They know how to put on a great show. Totally fun — even on a random Tuesday night.

The music is so bad. Need to hire a new DJ. Do everything illegal. Will likely be raided soon where the clients have to give an on the spot piss test for drugs and present a passport go to jail. Super corrupt. Watch you pockets.

Extravaganza Club, always have a wonderful night when visit. Fair price and friendly and excellent service. The owner is really fun and cheerful. See you guy there!

Nice place, lot of people. They have a drag slash boy show. Its good for drinks and looking for company but there is a big downside here that I never found anywhere else in Thailand (for now...watch the waiters, they will not bring your change back. Is preferred to go there with small change.
