Zaffron in Madikeri

Food is awesome. Yummy.. we ordered tandoori platter, mutton fry, chicken biryani all are so tasty. And we ordered food online from the same, its first class. Recommended one.

Food was good but the service is pathetic, we kept waiting for rotis for half an hour and reminded three servers and finally when we said we are leaving they finally came, by then we were done. No apology, no regret the staff felt. Also the chicken served had color in it, left the hands reddish orange. (Pic attached)

Awful experience. Customer satisfaction is not a priority for them. The exhaust air is blasting directly into the dining area, making it extremely uncomfortable and suffocating.

The service is the worst ... There is one guy for service and billing they dont even come to you unless u call them to place the order. They charge 5% service tax when u ask them to serve the food they say self service... I had to wait 40 mins to get the food after ordering. The worst service Ive ever seen . Road side dabas service is better.

Amazing food, good service! Loved the Coorg style mutton pepper, its a must try..all the items were really good!

Lovely food, Great hospitality by Chef Sudip,amazing breakfast cooked and served fresh from the kitchen to the table..If staying/ not staying at the Hotel LeCoorg, personally I would highly recommend your atleast 1time meal here only.Under Sudips guidence, the kitchen team is really professional and takes good care with food and hygiene. Even the waiters are really understanding ...hence incase you are not able to decide the menu they will help you out on the basis of your need......The foods really nice and crossed my expectations .

Kitchen exhaust is in the dine in area, so whatever is the food you are having you will feel suffocated and burning your eyes. Advise to not go or wait in a longer que to dine in..

They also cater to kids and Toddlers, and prepare kid-friendly meals.Ghee Roast Dosa, Onion Uttapam, Paneer Pakoda, Cheese chutney sandwich, french fries, palak paneer, veg cutlet, panner lababdar where our daily items with the adventure travelling in this beautiful city of Madikeri.Highly suggest Zaffron@LéCoorg, if youre looking out for quality Veg food, with/ without family.

food was good but service wise very bad service we are waiting for almost half an hour for our main course no response from the waiters not even 1 star for this pathetic service 😡

Go to this place early...Its a great place but the kitchen is comparatively small so you better be at the place before the peak time. The food is good and the ambience is pretty nice too.

Place not clean infested with roaches and only one person acting as waiter, manager, server, also the food was not cooked well, even though they took more than 40 minutes to serve the food.Very bad experience.

Food was tasty. But they charged for mineral water, which I did not even opened and I also did not checked the bill too during payment. So be careful while paying bills.

We had come for coffee. Order was taken & we kept waiting. In the meantime the entire dining area was full of smoke & strong smell. Unbearable environment with very poor exhaust. Similar review has been posted four months back. Looks as if the management is not bothered.

Service is very slow, just pathetic. We ordered chicken starters and taste were bland. No spices or flavor at all and on top of it, its very over priced. Had a really bad experience. I would prefer to skip my lunch/dinner than visiting this resturant.

This place serves really good food. Quantity of food is enough for 1 person.Chicken biryani , butter chicken - lazeez chicken , daal fry , jeera rice , chicken fried rice were good .Only thing is to maintain hygiene and cleanliness.

Food was ok but restaurant has a issue of ventilation.. their kitchen smoke is directly coming to seating place only.. orederd boneless chicken but they gave with bone and after complain they changed but looks they just break the same pieces to make boneless as small bones were still there.. so big name but bad service

Food was good, ordered watermelon juice which was not given or billed, no one came and said its not available. The kitchen exhauste comes in the dine in area, burning your eyes and making you sneeze

While in madikeri happen to visit Zaffron undecided. Expressing my review here. First of all I would like to mention that the staff is very down to earth very polite and helpful. Regarding food I had order veg sizzler I was really happy eating it since I am from Mumbai it took me by real surprise as the Sizzler was very well prepared with Lots of cashew in veg Manchurian, it also had stir veg. Also the other North Indian items on menu are really prepared well. The best part the chef is from west Bengal that means you are guaranteed good & tasty food. I suggest when in medikeri give a shot at Zaffron assuring you you will not be disappointed. Also the the rooms are neat and clean.

Very poor service.. They need minimum 2 hrs to serve the food.. pls avoid going there... Dont have sufficient employees... Reached restaurant around 8.30 pm till 10 pm the food was not served.. response from the manager 10-20 mins more... Also looks like they dont have exhaust installed in kitchen through out the time we were coughing..

The customer service is very pathetic, you get your order after an hour, the guys dont remember the order you gave and serve you the wrong food. The kitchen is not Hygenic and they dont have proper setup, entire time the customer kept on coughing as they didnt have proper exhaust system. Food quality cannot comment.

Server forgot salad order. Brought boneless item instead of bone. Food was good but service was below average. Service charge is added to the bill.Am a visitor to coorg but earlier reviews also suggest the same.

Food is good. Menu has both veg and non veg. Sanitizer is kept at reception, not promptly offered. They did not accept card and digital payment which was a bummer. They also levy service charge but do not serve the food after bringing it on table.

Mains we had garlic chicken gravy, which was alright.

It is a moderately good restaurant with reasonable pricing. Food quality and food taste is good here. You will find it clean and behavior of staff is also good. When we visited this place, the hotel was crowded so the restaurant. Restaurant did not have enough staff and all the customers were shouting on management. I am sure it would be good in normal days.

Nice place. Food were tasty but too costly. Delay in service. I found only one person take order and supply. Curry was hot but chicken piece were cold, seems like not a fresh cooked food. Place was not crowded. But too costly. All the rates were double.

I have been here twice and was delighted in both of those visits. We had ordered chicken curry and a local KODAGU style preparation. Both were quite tasty. The staff is very courteous and prices are reasonable. The location is easy to find and is close to Raja Seat tourist attraction. If you are in Madikeri and looking for some decent restaurant, I would recommend you this one.

It was the Good Hotel and nice service the taste of food also too good they mainatainence hotel was too good ,I suggest u to visite there on of the best hotel in madikeri the best hotel Taste also superb in the whether of madikeri and have beautiful view point The service they taking and giving you was excellent in the table they mentioned the history of Coorg How the Coorg name came Scotland of India and historical game hockey .I suggest u to go to the Hotel

The ambience is nice. The staff is also polite.We ordered Coorg kali Mirch chicken as starter, tomato soup, chicken lababdar and butter naan. The food was tasty. The service is slow. But the food was worth the wait.

Don’t come to this restaurant if you are hungry. It takes hours to serve and the place is full of smoke. You will be choked to death.

Avoid this place. Service is bad and super slow, staff doesn’t care or forgets what you order, normal dish that they only say will take less time to prepare is also served after 30-40 mins. The restaurant gets filled with smoke from kitchen while you wait forever for the food. They also added one item extra to our bill. Only thing that is better amongst this is the food, which is average.

The food is awesome. We ordered the Chicken Biriyan, Veg Biriyani & Pepper chicken dry. Its was very delicious. Though one thing that the restaurant needs to view very seriously is the rest rooms availability. Well neat and clean rest rooms available here and we were actually the first customers.Thank you . . . .

I ordered something very interesting, Le Coorg special favourite dish;it tasted amazing. They take a long time to prepare the dishes, but I think its worth the wait. Its pretty accessible and the ambiance is great!

🍱😡 food was bad - the taste of all the dishes we ordered were completely different to what it should actually be. Andra chilli chicken was with palak etc !!! Biryani was like spicy tomato rice.🍽️😡 Cleanliness was bad. There were foods spilled all over, when asked to clean, they just put a tissue and took it off. No cleaning with any wet material💰🙂 Food was cheap when compared to the resorts nearby - but obviously not worth it⌛😐 Took a lot of time for even pulka👨‍💼😐 They did nothing. No hospitality - find a table yourself, ask to clean it, ask menu card, keep calling them for everything you need YOURSELF.🚗🙂 Car park for few available in the front🚻😊 Restrooms were good📍😊 On the main road - but dont go

Tried non veg food from here. There is something wrong about the oil used. Taste was bad and had to leave whatever we ordered there. below Average food . good ambience , slow service , price is okay.. sums it up all.

Yummy tikka biryani and chicken items and loved the fried rice too. nice ambience. Pretty good service staff. Parking available, very near to tourist spot - raja seat.
