Za Za Bazaar, Canon's Rd, Bristol BS1 5UH, United Kingdom, Bristol
Global foods in a massive restaurant and bar inspired by Asian night markets with big neon signs.
Absolutely amazing experience. If you cant decide what you want to eat, or multiple people in your party want different foods, then this is the place to go! They have everything for everyone, from dishes all around the world to the typical quick and easy nuggets and chips. Unlimited food for a great price, even better if youre a student! Coming back again the next time I visit Bristol 👌
Amazing, was mega busy as we went on a Sunday but the food quality was good. A few customers were being unhygienic however other then that it was totally worth my time and money!£20 a person and unlimited drink pp aroind £3
Very large and diverse selection of foods and deserts ranging from English, European to Indian, Mexican cuisine. Im an Indian food fan and was pleasantly surprised by the amount of choice there was, unfortunately for me my stomach didnt have the capacity for them all. Also a nice bar downstairs for a few drinks either beforehand or afterwards.
Fantastic. Biggest selection Ive seen from any buffet restaurant. Great range of drinks, ice cream machine. Can seat many people. Great for kids.
Amazing buffet, I’ve been to the one in Newcastle before years ago but never took my wife. And she’s been wanting to go for years and I never stop talking about it. We went and she wasn’t disappointed and since planned a night here and to stay over for the Christmas markets. Highly recommend
Fun experience for eating new food and an exciting atmosphere. However it felt very hectic at peak times (when I went). If you have a big group some people can stay at the table and look after bags while you go for more food but if you dont then it can mean one person goes at a time which is a little unsocial. Not really a place to talk over a meal but still enjoyable
Zara has gone downhill, definitely not what it used to be. The issue is not the waiter staff it’s a management issue. Old furniture with tired chairs, was really disappointed as this was my first time going back since the lockdown.Anyways I believe they need to retrain on all aspects of food and safety and need to renovate their restaurant.
First visit here, had a lot of recommendations. My personal favourite was the Indian section, the curries were outstanding. I had a few bits from the Chinese section as well which were also very nice. Finished off with some dessert - marshmallows in the chocolate fountain, and a couple of the smaller desserts. For £13.99 each, it’s fantastic value for money!
We absolutely loved it! Very tasty food. So many choices. Preparing freshly front of you.Clean tables and glasses. Helpful staff. Highly recommended!
This place is an experience & puts brands like "Cosmos" to shame. You have to pace yourself with all the different types of cuisine thats available to you but what a feast me & my friend had!Just an excellent array of food to choose from, whenever Im back in Bristol I will most definitely be back for a visit no doubt about it 👏🏻.
I LOVE Za Za Bazaar! I love the food variety. Such an amazing choice of so much yummy food! I really like the layout of the restaurant with all the buffets in the centre of the room and love how the signs decorate each country/place the food comes from perfectly. It really adds to the atmosphere. Would go again and again if I lived closer - so its probably best I dont. Would highly recommend. Make sure you book a table. We went on a Thursday at 7pm and it was still very busy!
Good buffet restaurant in a nice location. We made reservations prior to showing up. There is a separate queue if you did not make reservations. This queue was quite long at 6pm on a bank holiday Monday. Our seating was okay, very busy area where the tables were too close together. However there is better seating with views. Plenty of options for everyone. I mainly eat meat and tried most options. Very happy with the grilled, Caribbean, and Indian choices. £19 for an adult at dinner and kids under 5 eat free which is great. Will be back again when in Bristol, thank you.
It was an absolutely boiling day when I came so sadly wasnt that hungry! But the variety is brilliant and I love how its organised into different countries. Our waiter was very attentive. Constant ice water which was definitely needed. Food was not incredible but not bad either- what you expect for the price at lunch time! Definitely something for everyone.
You will not leave here feeling hungry! Its an all you can eat buffet. Actually its half a dozen all you can eat buffets side by side. The choice is huge.I was also happy with the food quality - it was tasty and appeared to be freshly cooked.Maybe not the cheapest place around but considering that dessert is included and tap comes free, it was certainly very good value for a midweek lunch.
Good prices, beautiful place and a vastity of food to try, but not everything is good. Most of the fried things we tried were cold, the chips and the Mac&cheese were tasteless, the nuggets needed salt (that was nowhere to be seen on the table and our waiter was too busy with other tables to notice us), in the lasagna there was too cheese, the pizza wasnt so bad (but too chewy to be Italian). I appreciated the Chinese stand, but I found the Chicken with teriyaki sauce a bit too salty. I didnt like any deserts, and I usually love sweets.
Some of the dishes had flavour that was quite desirable. The staff was enormously respectful. Would of made it four star for that reason alone but unfortunately some of their cuisine was mildly bland. They just need to improve a few areas with food wise, then they would be on there way to be a outstanding buffet hall. Good place to take children to fill them up. No complaints on being hungry.
First time for me at Za Za Bazaar!! I loved it from the range of food on offer and the quality is really good. Just wish it was closer to home.I totally recommend Za Za if your in the area. I definitely will go again.
Love zaza bazaar, specially on days when you have a group of people with different taste buds. Theres something yummy for everyone no matter what your preference. There is a small issue of tableware and same utensils being used for multiple things at each kiosk. But, most vegan/vegetarian dishes are safer. The interior and decor makes it a very happening night out. Always a win.
Food lovely, staff are great, but charging adult prices for a 11 year old is ridiculous.Lovely seating over looking the waterside.
it was good place to enjoy some buffet from different recipes tho even soft drink wasnt included, which was a little sadplease get some aircon for summer
I was in Harbour festival wondering around hungry and thirsty. Saw food stall outside zaza bazar with grilled food items. I had been to this place inside but never had experience of ordering food outside. I must say the food stand was well organized, high level of hygiene, even in sweaty afternoon. I had no hesitation in ordering foods , drinks were priced reasonably. I would recommend this place again for food and drinks.
Its a nice environment good food would advice them to put halal on the foods to say its ok for muslims. Did get knocked of by the price as was told one price by somebody and another by another person
Massive range of foods, all of which are delicious! Such a great choice with excellent service and value for money. Delicious! Will definitely go there again. X
Amazing, the bad opinions is probably because they were there on saturday or sunday on pick hours. To much people, like in a fair, lack of food on some stands or cold. There were no tacos, no peckin duck and crepes, and not other many things.Service is very nice and very kind, we had bad table, the only one it was according to the waitress.
Had lunch. Good value. Great variety of food. Very tasty. Only for 4 stars this time as not quite as many options as there have been on prior visits. That said, they still had a good selection of dishes. Will visit again.
So much choiceIf youre hungry, and want to try anything and everything, then you will love Za Za BazaarThe night time seating offers more than the lunch timeBut there is something for everyoneDiscount for students aswell! (I think £3 off)
A great place.. And a lovely time for a birthday meal.. With cocktails!
Excellent buffet lunch/dinner with dishes from all around the world. You got many live counters, ranging from Mexican to Spanish to Indian Dosa!Prices are different on different days so you may want to check and book your reservations.
Kids loved. Its a great idea, so many flavours to try together such as chicken tikka masala and mash potato. The only downside is there is a lot of waste.
Service was great, we didnt have a reservation but there was space. Staff was helpful and friendly. Food was very good, especially the Asian one!. The tex-mex food wasnt great, but they do have the best nachos I have ever tried in the UK, they might look very simple but they are so tasty, just like the ones you would find in Texas and some places in Mexico ❤️❤️❤️
Brought my son laws for meal they was well happy and bellys full they couldnt move .staff was helpful. We come lunch time great deal . staff was lovely polite (First time trying Sushi . Not for me but it wernt bad). There was a Few things i personally couldnt eat bit to spicy for my taste buds .I went Mexican Caribbean salad bar pizza . Think next time I going try the Indian .What i like about this place you can test the water. Had enjoyable meal .
I love this place. Dont be put off by the "all you can eat" label. The food is cooked to a high standard and the selection of food is amazing. The staff are all really efficient too so dirty plates disappear before youve even noticed. It has a really fun atmosphere too. Highly recommend.
Really an experience if u have time.Allocated 1hr 45 minutes per sittingIf u are 8 or more celebrating a birthday u order cake its free or u can order it at extra cost
Great ambiance and atmosphere. Dont expect Michelin quality food, but its on par with your local takeaway, in the main. Get your moneys worth and try everything!
This place is amazing for the food lovers. I loved so much. Everything is Amazing. I suggest every one should try once. Worth it everything in it.
Service was nice...but the food can be better. Some of the foods are so dry..needs a bit of sauce for them.. and also they can try to include some common African dishes
I love coming back here! I really enjoyed my dishes. Just a shame my Wife had a serving of undercooked chicken.
Wow...this place!!A MUST visit if youre in Bristol.Make sure you book ahead as its literally rammed every day we tried without a booking. So much choice and quality is a high 4 out of 5 on average.Well worth the money.Top tip!The best way to try all of the food on offer is to only have a small spoon full of each dish and not put too much of one dish out. That way you dont think "ohhh I wish I cod have tried sone so but Im too full"Cocktails were very good and tasty. Same good quality as the bar downstairs.
Awesome place this is. Really nice food, friendly staff, nice chilled environment. Would suggest this place to anyone.
Good value and good service despite a busy half-term lunchtime.Definitely go to the noodle bar for a freshly cooked stir-fry.
A must go for all food lovers! If variety is the spice of life, this is where variety meets quantity. For a moderate price, this bottomless buffet will fill your stomach and your heart in equal measure! Be sure to try out all the available options
Absolutely amazing - I did the £10 student weekday lunch with flatmates (£13.50 if you have unlimited soft drinks instead of waterand I left with my stomach expanded 4" and every step hurt to take so I know I did it right. Theyve got so many choices of food and is great for trying new dishes without wanting to commit to a full meal. Personally, I recommend the fried squid rings.
Great Buffet with multi country cusinie. Mexican, indian, Chinese, Thai. Customer service was good. Bar is available. Deserts must try.
Good collection of food specially asian food. You will lots of variety of Indian food in live stall and it includes famous street food. Additional to this, you will get sushi or Thailand, Japanese good so it is multi national buffet. Coke price is slightly high otherwise it is perfect destinationfor food.
Manic but strangely mesmerising!!!Its like a jumble sale for food! Really good service but quite crowded, so if you want a quiet meal for two this isnt the right place to go. But if you cant decide what to eat, come here as I had quite an eclectic mix!
Absolutely loved it! Didnt get to try every dish but the Chinese and Indian cuisine was awesome. Looking forward to trying new dishes next time!Only thing I noticed this time is that the Kheer (indian dessertdoesnt represent real flavours. Maybe you could make it better 🙂
This is a great all you can eat restaurant but what makes it different from the rest is the wide selection of food available. Not the cheapest place to eat but definitely worth it. All of the staff were extremely polite and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Its a well spaced out area with plenty of seating. I will definitely be going back there again.
Had an absolutely fantastic experience here!! 💯 Surprisingly the best ribs Ive ever had, and the best tacos Ive ever had (special thanks to the chef who made it extra spicy for me and my partner! ✨). All the chefs were very welcoming at each of the stalls and they were always happy to cook something for you 😊 Interior is very well decorated 👌👌
Food and drink 5/10Service 6/10Decor and atmosphere: 8/10Service speed 7/10Cost 7/10The best: Too many dishes to try! Insanely cheap for what is on offer. The worst: The food is buffet quality and service is average at best. The lowdown: When you step for in here, it is easy to get excited with all the different stations/stalls and the decor of the place. This helps to hide the fact that the food is of average quality. In saying this, the variety is insane for a buffet. My personal favourite is getting the food made fresh directly in front of you. Its probably good that the food quality is average as you wont regret not being able to try more than 20% of what is in offer.
What can I say only, woah!! Loved it all! Beautiful location, fab staff, tasty and amazing variety of food, and stop the bus!!!...the cocktails are some of the best Ive tasted!! Ive told my now 1st year Bristol student daughter to apply for a job with you!! As I will definitely be back! Happy customers!
