ZIP-ITT Adventure Tours - Tourist attraction in Port-of-Spain, Trinidad and Tobago
Worst experience ever... Wrongly advertise the opening hours of the Zipline for kids and admission cost. I was in disbelief that even if I was willing to pay for my kids to use the bridge (since the Zipline had closed off alreadyI was also asked to pay an admission fee (I am still not clear on whatwhich was the same cost as using the canopy bridge as my kids. Will not be revisiting or recommending to anyone!
At the time of visit, there were not enough harnesses for volume of visitors so there was not sufficient time for sanitation ans drying..our harnesses smelt awful and was damp with sweat and some sort of sanitizer.
Nice staff..... Beautiful scenery
Beautiful view while zip lining! 10 great lines to ride! Nice spot for tourist with Macarique beach nearby! Although, depending on the time and day you go the beach may be crowded.
One of the best experiences Trinidad has to offer. The property is absolutely breathtaking! They offer and amazing adventure of mountain biking to the Bamboo Cathedral, ziplining through the jungle, suspension bridges over the off the hook greenery and snorkeling in baby blue waters with a paradise beach. The cost is minimal considering the options. The staff is professional and dedicated to your relaxation and enjoyment, first class service !!! Ronald the Park manager is a hands on professional, taking pride in his work and a unmatched devotion to maintaining high safety standards and identifying with the awesome Trinidad spirit!!! He truly is a top notch professional and definitely irreplaceable asset!!! My time there will be remembered as my best day trip ever! Thank you.
Add this to the list of things to do in PoS / Chaguramas! Great service and extremely safety conscious, exceeding all required standards. We took a group of 6 including children and had an excellent time. Highly recommended.
My cousin and I endeavored to take this tour on a whim, and were not disappointed. The team running the course were experienced and competent, and were able to facilitate an exciting time. There safety standards are the best I have seen, with reinforced double, industrial strength, cables and harnesses; there was not a care in the world as we traversed the loops, flying through the forest and over the beach. Truly memorable and exciting.
This was the highlight of my visit. Best staff Ive ever I teracted with in all of the countries Ive visited. Will be returning in the future with friends.
This apparently just got bigger(on height)and I wasnt expecting the change. After I took the 1st leap of faith it was smooth sailing. The service at this place is top notch and the staff is super friendly. We made it super close to the closing time but they still accommodated us and I couldnt be more thankful since we had made a 2 hr dive to get there. I loved every moment of this experience and its must on every visit to t&t!
Not the longest Zipline, but definitely a great experience ... Additional benefit, it on the beach, so you can take a dip when youre done.
Three years ago, I took two of my friends with me from the US to do this zip lining and it was a great experience overall. The people working there had a great sense of humor which made up for my fear of heights. It was great vibes and I felt safe with them. They were knowledgeable in their work. Great job. I went back last week and they have since upgraded their lines, expanded, and continue to improve. I highly recommend them!
Excellent customer service. The employees I interacted with were extremely professional, something Im not accustomed to encountering in Trinidad. The attendant at reception was very pleasant and accommodating and the guides were helpful in assisting with gearing up and tutorials for newbies. On the course the guides were extremely friendly, offering to record videos using clients personal devices while on the zipline. Keep up the good work!
Its a very cool place to go and have some of fun. You can go with friends or even alone, the staff is very friendly and will be able for you all the time. At first you have to go up to a stair with 200 steps and then start the fun! There are 9 zip lines, some of them are short but there are some longs too. You will have a lot of fun!
The wonderful young men at Zip-ITT gave us such a wonderful experience this week. We got there at the end of the day and they were both professional and engaging as they took us through all nine of the ziplines on the course, which we later learned theyd designed. It was full of amazing views and gave us the best family adventure. And they took our safety very seriously. I felt as safe as one can standing so high and flying through the trees.
My first experience ziplining and the staff made it safe, fun,and comfortable. I love it and will definitely be back !!
Amazing service. Safety is a top priority. All guides and staff were absolutely professional and thorough throughout the experience.
The staff is friendly and make you feel so comfortable for something that could be scary for some. It was so much fun though. And the views from up high are fantastic. Another adventure where you don’t feel like you’re in Trinidad. They even took photos for us while we enjoyed the day.Would totally recommend
Jon and Amir were great guides. Lots of fun. Well worth it. Very safe.
I Rented 2 bikes for 2 hours to go up Bamboo Cathedral. The gears gave some trouble which made going up the hill a bit difficult. We had to push the bikes sometimes but coming down was a breeze. It was a good experience and good exercise.
Bucket list item... Most definitely. Staff was friendly and competent. At no time did I feel unsafe. Great experience.
Safe and comfortable environment, a place to definitely take your family. The staff was very pleasant and friendly. Great customer service.
Awesome place. Excellent service. Safety is priority. Well maintained. Great fun. Beautiful sites while zipping. My kids loved it. You need to be a little fit as there are 150 plus stairs to the first zip line. But dont let that discourage you. The cost is extremely reasonable for what you get.
With friendly and knowledgeable staff, the zip lining here merges the zip lines with a hike through the forest. Youre surrounded by nature, will see some of the best views in Trinidad and will have an experience that is different (from other local Trinidad fare and other zip lines). Walk with some water though....
One of the best attractions zip line through the wonderful rainforest, close proximity to the beach, secure parking
Great zipline, they had nine on the course, very good price too
We had fun on the bike trails
The rides were great and so were the guides
It was a terrifying and awesome experience. The two instructors were top notch and professional as well as injecting the right amount of disarming humor to help through the initial terror. I will definitely be doing it again.
Great for the adventurous. Quiet and enjoyable. Good quality sea-bathing are also onsite. Other nature and sporting activities are available in the Chaguaramas Reserve Park facilities. In TT, The telephone company says "Call first" - that is great advice to avoid disappointment !
Bad beach. No sand. Very small beach.
I visited this place a few years ago when I was in Trinidad and it was a great time. This was the first time I went zip-lining and it was a great experience. Cant wait to visit again sometime in the future!
Great experience, very nice staff, good safe equipment
Excellent tour guides. One would say, its a place to get over your fears if youre up for the challenge :but overall, excellent service and safety in place. Would love to zip with with Zip-ITT Adventure Tours again
My girlfriend and I went Zip lining here about two days ago and it was one of the worst experiences Ive had in life with regards to customer service. We were taking through the course by two young ladies whom we were obviously inconveniencing. They had a lot a sarcasm to offer. Whispered throughout the entire thing about all sorts of things ranging from how they cant wait to be finished here because some man was waiting for them at the bar......among other inappropriate things. Questions were answered with silence and periods of staring at each other and acting rudely when we had any concerns. The activity itself was fun but i will never be returning there. Could not enjoy the activities at all due to the poor customer services offered and how rushed we felt.
Horrible customer service!!!! I was accompanied by a friend for the adult zip-lining experience, what we got was three aggressive female workers who barely gave instructions, and when asked questions showed great annoyance. The zip-lining course itself is well structured and would have been enjoyable but due to rude staff, we were rushed, endured hateful muttering and eyes constantly rolling at us. I dont recommend it and I wont ever return.
The staff are great; really friendly and helpful so if it’s your first time zip lining, you have nothing to be worried about. The first and last lines are the best because of the views of the bay. I would also recommend cooling off on the beach afterwards.
We took a group of children, some of whom have special needs. The staff was so professional and helpful. The children had a blast and were sad when it was time to leave. Great job to their team. We enjoyed a great outing
Went to the childrens zipline. Wonderful venue for a few hours of fun. Good bathroom facilities. Pack a picnic :)
The 8 zip-lines (with canopy walking in between themwas a great experience & well worth the price. The canopy walking wasnt quite what we expected, and it was over in about 40 minutes which was also quicker than we expected. Safety really is their number one priority, so dont expect to be left to run the course on your own, not one but three guides will help you all the way through the course. Also dont think that youll be able to take photos or videos very easily, it wasnt really possible to take any "snaps" except at the very beginning & end. It was still a fun experience though, & at least one of the few safe things you can do in Trinidad.
Great friendly staff you can tell they are use to tourists. They let you use your action cameras free of charge and dont mess around with safety. Which can be a downside for some people if you want to do things yourself like clip yourself in and go on your own. They do all the clipping to make sure your safe to go. The manager made sure we had a pleasant time. After we went to the beach which is very nice and well maintained and the views are amazing also from the zip lines.
a lot of walking and tracking to get to the linesThe lines are short and the ziplining is short lived. Would only recommend you go once!! Doubt a second experience would be eventful
Excellent ziplining experience. Staff are accommodating and attention to safety is of utmost priority. All checks are done before activities commence and further checks and updates are communicated with the team during the activities. Biking is also a fun experience and a team member ensures that the last participant is safe and is on standby for any emergencies. Washroom facilities and parking are also available. Kids ziplining is also an option for families. Great venue with beautiful scenery and awesome activities for couples, families, friends and adventure seeking groups.
My daughter and I try to zip line every time we travel. This one was the best one we experienced thus far. The price was amazing. The location was great and eco friendly. You will need bug stray though. Then you can was off at the nearby beach. The guides were wonderful friendly and always emphasizing safety. Loved it
The customer service was great and at a great price. The staff did their best to serve as quickly and as friendly as possible and are very helpful to first time zipliners. Would do again when I visit Trinidad!
I really loved this experience. Ive been Zip Lining in different countries, and this was by far the best experience. The staff was very up beat and excited, all while focusing on safety. They actually seemed concerned with us having fun and feeling safe. They were very efficient, and moved the group along quickly, which was a huge benefit for me, bc other establishments, will bring the entire group to the platform and then proceedIn addition they have a childrens area which also provides a great play ground, a trampoline, mini zip lining, and a ball pit. Plus there was a guide who took great care of my small daughter and took her through the course.I would really recommend this place to anyone who wants to consider this. Next time we come to Trinidad, I plan on coming back.
My experience here was terrible. Absolutely horrible customer service. The zip-lining itself was supposed to take about 45 mins. Instead it was a race for the very grumpy staff to get us through the course as fast as possible. We did not have any time to laugh, have fun or appreciate what we were doing. The staff also behaved very inconvenienced by our presence and were very aggressive and hostile towards us with their actions and comments. They kept rolling their eyes at us for having questions and continuously made degrading and snarky comments towards us. The zip-lining itself was a good experience. However, because of the poor customer service I will not be returning, nor will I be recommending this place to anyone interested. I have the run through of the experience on camera as well and will show it to anyone who is interested, so they can see for themselves how the staff treats their customers.
Its a fun course but theres only one semi long line. The staff were very extremely helpful and friendly.
One of the very few places in Trinidad that you can Zip Line and/or rent bikes but even with that, its one place I strongly advise to refrain from. A week ago, me friends and I decided to rent some bikes from ZIP-ITT in efforts to ride all the way to the tracking station. The Bikes we got were so dilapidated with smooth tyres that caused us to get flat on your way up. Brakes were faulty and the suspension was ceasing up. When we addressed this to management they claim that the bikes are serviced every week and they cannot provide us with a refund for our troubles. The staff were a bit hostile and quick to brush us off. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE
ZipITT good! I had the pleasure of going ziplining early 2017 as one of my vacation activities in Trinidad. Fun hour in the early afternoon by the beach. They had the nicest, and most welcoming staff of any other place I visited here. Very attentive to the customers, their different needs and level of ease with the activity. They were all about safety and a good experience for everyone. Double check and triple check the equipment before heading up. About 7 lines, some short and fast some much longer but good view and experience throughout the activity. They are extending the lines around the mountain in the next year and I didnt rent a bike to go trekking, so I will try to go back during my next visit. Thanks again to the team for making this a great stop on my trip!
Please note our number has changed to 303-7755. We look forward to having you zip with us. "youve got to ZIP-ITT to believe it".The cost is TT$140 per person for the adult zip line. This includes riding all 7 zip lines and 5 net bridges / canopy walks. It takes about 1 hour to complete. We offer a special rate to persons 16 and under which is TT$100 but they must pay using credit card / linx to take advantage of this special. The kids zip line is for 3-9 year olds and cost $70 for 2 hours of play time. We also offer special rates for groups of 10 or more on both the kids and adult zip line. Looking forward to having you all zip with us.
